Food was great! Our choices were hummus plate for starters, 8oz filet, 16oz ribeye, asparagus, mashed potatoes, creme brulee, and drinks. Everything was done to our liking. Tables were distanced appropriately. Staff were masked. Wasn't too dark or noisy. Very enjoyable experience!

Great meals with friendly service. We asked for a quiet area and were accommodated with a table in the stag's leap area. Mostly a private dining experience with only one table other than us. My crispy sea bass was perfect. My companions' steak were spectacular

One of the best restaurants in Erie. Steaks are top quality and prepared properly everytime of been there. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And their service compliments the food.Went to brunch the next morning with my family, 10 of us,, which included 4 grandchildren aged 4 - 6 (1 is 7 months; but she still counts). Imagine trying to please the group with an age span of 7 months to 66 years. The clue is that I was back in the restaurant 16 hrs after having dinner.I'm from Buffalo and have experienced fine dining. Erie has some "jewels" and this is one of them.Try it out and if you're Disappointed with your meal contact me to discuss and I'll consider reimbursing you if the meal is not to your satisfaction.

Stopped in for a beverage. As always the atmosphere makes you feel like you're in the big city, very chic. They have an outdoor area with heaters, a bar area and a dining area. Their brunch beverage options didn't have the amount of choices as other places. My friend wanted a fall-type drink and there wasn't one on the menu so the bartender whipped up a pear, cinnamon, toasted caramel concoction rimmed with cinnamon sugar. Honestly, we questioned pear & cinnamon together but it worked. It was a refreshing beverage on the sweet side but very tasty. I ordered their Bloody Mary. They said it was garnished with pickled vegetables. I was expecting at least a couple pickled veggies. What came out was 2 green beans on a skewer. Again, I was skeptical. When I bit into the green bean it was crisp & packed a zip. It had more flavor than I was expecting which was a nice surprise. The Bloody Mary itself was ok. Definitely not spicy and the glass was on the smaller side compared to other places. But the best item of the visit was the Naan & Whipped Feta appetizer. The Naan was fresh and topped with a sesame seed - spice blend, drizzled with olive oil and the feta was yummy! The dip was full of flavor that complemented the Naan. It's the type of dip that if it's in front of you, it would be so easy to eat and eat and eat it all, lol. I'd say it's close to being addicting. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall a nice visit and will definitely go back for the dip.

Great service and was delicious

Fantastic food! And great outdoor dining even in fall weather with Covid. They had great space heaters and a beautiful ambiance!

Talk about a master class in service. This was our second time at this restaurant (we're from out of town but enjoyed our first experience so much that we wanted to experience it again) and the team at The Cork 1794 continues to be incredibly impressive. Having to deal with inclement weather ruining their patio plan and running a bit behind is super stressful, but they were truly on their A-game, offering drinks and appetizers once seated. The staff was SO kind and engaged (extra shout out to Lenny, who was a phenomenal server from start to finish) and the food was delicious. We both agreed that it's official: we'll make a point to go to The Cork 1794 every time we visit Erie.

Ate outside. They have heaters but weren't needed. Food was fantastic. Had a smoked salmon on Naan bread-outstanding. Had flash fried Brussel sprouts. The best. Our waiter, John, was very good. For our first time there during Covid we felt safe.

A perfect 70 degree first day of autumn 2020 with a splendid meal and excellent service by John at The Cork on Erie's west side!!

I know that this will come as an unpopular opinion, but it it time for the truth about the Cork. The Cork is about perception, not reality. You will spend an enormous amount of money for average food-at best. If you like to tell people you went to the Cork or be seen at the Cork, this is your jam.Otherwise, it is a travesty. My wife and I gave it a second try, because maybe the first was an off night, but it wasn't. After the service, which was the only positive, everything else is high priced fluff. The cocktails come over ices and short poured, but I am certain that it looks like a full drink (illusion). The menu is a la carte, and you build you own meal, and like a shady contractor, prices only climb. A side of scallop (yes, singular is $6... per). In the end, if money spent is more important that what you get The Cork is it. Otherwise, it is all hype and no follow through.

Very disappointing visit. Staff was friendly enough, but there were major problems with the wine and food.We ordered a red wine by the glass. When it came, it was cold. Not just chilled, but really cold! I asked about it and was told their policy is to serve all their wines at 58 degrees. For red wines, that does not work well, so we ended up sending it back.We got the lamb Gnocchi. The lamb was very tender and only a fork was needed to shred it, but by itself it was also bland. Some rosemary and other seasonings would have really helped. Combining bites of lamb with the Gnocchi and its cream sauce helped. We also had the salmon which was swimming in a pool of butter. Way, way, way too much butter. For a relatively expensive place like this, these missteps should not have happened.

We came for dinner on a Sunday night. Food and drinks were delicious, but we waited a very long time to get our food. Place was packed. Our waiter Josh and manager Ken provided amazing service. Would recommend this restaurant !!!

Had a wonderful experience dining with my family here, there was plenty of room and social distancing was accommodated well. Everything was clean and the restaurant and patio are beautiful. Service was print and food was delicious. No complaints.
