I was passing through the area and decided to stop at Arepa House, which turned out to be an excellent idea because the food is super tasty.Arepa House is easily recognizable from the street due to its yellow facade and large yellow lettering displaying the restaurant's name. Upon entering, we were greeted by a welcoming smile from a young woman. The staff speaks both English and Spanish, so you can communicate comfortably in whichever language you prefer.Inside, the same vibrant yellow color scheme continues, along with blue and red, which are the colors of the Venezuelan flag. Some expertly drawn chalk designs adorn a few wall areas painted black, adding an artistic touch to the ambiance. We savored a variety of dishes, including vegan arepas (plantain, avocado, and beans), a cachapa with cheese, a vegetarian empanada, a steak dish, and a maltín drink, among others. The green sauce they provided took the food to another level. One thing to note is I witnessed them with arepa dough and using cachapas batter, ensuring that the arepas and cachapas were made fresh. In addition to the ready-to-eat food, the restaurant sells a selection of food items, snacks, and treats such as Carré (chocolate with nuts), Samba Fresa, Hony Bran, Gayetón, Cocosette, and my personal favorite, bocadillo de plátano. The staff members are hardworking individuals who promptly prepared the food for both dine-in and take-out customers.I was thoroughly impressed with the food at Arepa House. I hope to have the opportunity to return soon, and I definitely recommend dining at this Arepa House – you won't be disappointed.

Amazing spot! Super lovely people serving absolutely delicious food!!! I read another comment about the cake and had to try it- make sure to add it to your meal because it’s sweet goodness. The arepas were fantastic- we especially loved the one with plantains.

Best Arepa’s we’ve had in a long time. And we would drive the hour and a half just for the Tres Leches cake alone. It is a small restaurant wit not much seating but the food is worth it!Vegetarian options: One vegetarian option.

I’ve been buying since they first open their doors, but unfortunately like every other business, once they think they good they blow their price and the service starts going down. I. The past two months I order one thing and when I go to pick up, they come with this “ oh I’m sorry I gave you this because we don’t have what you order”.What makes you think I want that if I didn’t order it. Please Rafimar bring your son back to take care his business. The ladies there are going to ruined it.

The place is a dirty dump with busted up lawn furniture in the "restaurant". I don't think anything ever gets cleaned in there beyond a quick sweep with a broom. The food was a great disappointment, too. The price was atrociously high ($10) for a small, soggy arepa, the size of the smallest Taco Bell taco. The only thing you could taste was the lousy grated cheese that drowned everything. There was some other filling besides the cheese, but it was a small amount and tasteless. What a disappointment.Stay away from this place

I took my family to eat there for the first time and we ordered 4 arepas and 2 arepas were in the same plate so I asked for an extra plate and the lady proceeded to go to the dirty dishes bin and grabbed some plates and came back 5 secs later with a dirty plate as if it was a clean one.. we only noticed because the bottom of the plate had avocado from the previous customer (and they told us they were out of avocado) and after taking a closer look it was all greasy.

No Frills Venezuelan food ... Arepas were tasty, but the Empanadas were fantastic! It has very limited seating, but it is perfect for carryout!
