Service was total garage. My server was MIA the whole time. The table next to me got great service. Not only could they not be bothered to see if I needed anything, they couldn't even bring me my check. This is the second visit in a row I was treated this way.Food: 5/5

Service was terrible waiter and waitresses passing by not asking if we need anything three tables in the wi down section with three different servers and no one paying attention to our table. Our server has a table on the other side of the bar and can't see us. The football game was on TV, and when it finished, the TV just strolled with some annoying noise, and no one did anything about it.I will not return to this restaurant for another meal. I've been waiting now for an hour, but still no food. Worst service ever!

We stumbled across this restaurant on accident on our way to another restaurant near by but when we seen this we just knew we had to try. Everything was amazing from the food to the service we got. Our server Vanessa was amazing and you can tell she really loves her job and the food. If you have room for dessert get the Lemon Mascarpone cake, it was perfect and not too lemony. Thanks again Vanessa and Giotti’s for the awesome first time experience. Can’t wait to be back!

I order take out from here on an almost weekly basis and have had my expectations exceeded almost every time. The Pollo Brunello is my goto, but the chicken piccata, chicken francais, and carbonara are excellent as well. Food is made quickly, but with care, and the staff are friendly as well. My only regret is I didn’t make this a regular stop sooner.

We know the quality and greatness of the food and service of this restaurant, but sadly after a second poor experience we feel the service is greatly suffering and sliding. First disappointing experience was two Saturdays ago. We walked into which was clearly a suffering staffing level or competency issues. After requesting a specific waitress upon arriving inside while being seated we were told the specifics of her employment status and ending by the young girl seating us, which we felt was highly inappropriate and unnecessary to disclose to customers. While seated and waiting for service we watched a very disheveled staff running around frantically, and several upset customers waiting for tables and food which brought us to great concern. After 25 minutes of waiting for service at our table we grabbed our wine we brought and left to another restaurant. Second time was this evening with very poor quality of service. It was absolutely not busy and no more than 8 people were eating in. In fact our waitress mentioned we were the first table in 30/45 minutes. We had to ask for wine glasses several times before finally getting up and getting them from another staff member. Our appetizer was dropped off and came out cold and had we been attended to appropriately and timely we could have resolved it vs having to eat a cold appetizer cause the waitress was nowhere to be found. We requested the 4 mini spice jars which were given to us empty. Bread was given to us completely burnt, which we couldn’t even understand the sensibility of our waitress to even consider delivering this to our table. Over all we are extremely upset and dissatisfied with the level of service and quality of our recent experiences. We understand the hardships of staffing but this was severe and warranted enough to review after two very poor experiences. We strongly urge and suggest your management to train and educate your newer staff appropriately and stress the importance of appropriate interactions and disclosures, and educate on the delivery of expectations on food quality, professionalism, and service standards, and the over all customer expectations when spending money at your restaurant.

What percentage of the time does this place not have my take out order ready until at least half an hour after they tell me it'll be ready? 100%

Giotti's is our favorite locally owned Italian restaurant. The food is always delicious and quite reasonably priced. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxed. And the personal service is second to none. Varonio always greets my husband & I with a warm smile while welcoming us back for another specially crafted meal with fresh ingredients! ?Food: 5/5

When I saw the rating as number 28 of Italian restaurants in Harrisburg I was not very enthusiastic about going here, but I trusted our friends. What an incredible meal! The bread was out of this world! The salad was fresh, crisp and tasty. The manicotti was the best I’ve ever had. The tomato sauce is unbelievable! Can’t wait to go back!

Our waitress Alina was great. However; there was an older woman running the front of house who was constantly complaining and yelling at the waitresses. My heart goes out to those young ladies. Aside from that; everything was great. I'm not sure if I would eat while the older woman was running the front of house again; she acted like a real Karen.

Food was tasty, traditional Italian fare with a local, Mom-and-Pop feel from the surroundings. I recommend the pollo parmigiana. Salads and bread, included with each meal, were a great addition. The front of the house service needs work. They seemed to have sufficient staff for the quiet evening we visited. For some reason, our server had to also be the host and was therefore less attentive than he might otherwise have been. He was friendly, eager, and enthusiastic so with a bit more time on the floor, he will certainly be an asset to the restaurant. I am definitely coming back. I recommend anyone check it out, especially as an alternative to the corporate chains. There is no alcohol on the menu, though the server mentioned something about bringing our own bottle of wine? I am not sure how that works and did not ask for details.

Flew in to Harrisburg, PA from South FL famished and tired. Asked Siri for the Best Italian Restaurant near me and voila, it brought me to Giotti’s. The ambience was very nice, not too busy for a Friday night. I sat alone and was greeted by a nice young lady, Alexa, my waitress. I didn’t know what to order as everything on the menu looked delicious. She asked me a few questions regarding my palette and I quickly said “Chicken” so she highly recommended the Chicken Carbanero. I ordered the entrée and waited patiently. A few moments later, rolls appeared with red pepper and olive oil, a Caesar Salad accompanied it as well. The anticipated dish came out and was piping hot and garnished lightly with parsley, slices of ham, bacon, and chicken. The “Rosa” sauce was perfect, not too watery or too thick. The chicken was soft and moist. Overall as an avid “Italian” lover, this dish quickly rose to the top of my list. I highly recommend this plate off the menu. You will not be disappointed.

Do NOT order takeout over the phone. Tried this 2x: 1st time they missed an entire pizza. I was charged and it took me 35 minutes round trip to get it No apology no discount and I tipped 25% due to COVID.Tonight again, ordered the zucchini boats.Confirmed all containers were there, verbally confirmed with the waiter that the zucchini boats were in the bag. No, no zucchini boats in the bag.If the food wasn't excellent I would go somewhere else.

Food was excellent but service was slow. Took 20 minutes before someone even took our drink order.
