Ok so I work uptown in hbg and wanted to try a new pizza place.. was in the mood for Stromboli... after googling pizza places in hbg, this was one of the options and I decided to try it out.. This is a quaint, basic neighborhood pizza spot near the State Capitol. The good is a good value for the money--two enormous slices and a drink for under $6. Visited today around 1:30 and our slices were made up fresh from the oven. Yum! This is a lunch-only spot (10:30 AM to 3:30 PM) and cash only. Our slices were what I'd describe as a New York style crust but thicker "Sicilian" crust is also available. Strombolis are part of the menu as well.

No place can compete with Giuseppe's Original Pizzeria. THIS is real Italian pizza and not some fast food junk. I was suppose to go this week and couldn't make, I'm going first thing Monday afternoon. The absolute BEST in this state, if not the coast. Keep it going Joe!
