My partner and I have had 4 plus years of date nights and takeout from Kondu. Some weeks, as often as 3 separate visits. THIS PLACE IS A TRUE GEM! ? The staff is more than kind and friendly, and has always accommodated my ongoing, sometimes odd, special requests. We are genuinely beyond grateful for all of the memories we've had here and the absolutely tasty cuisine! From our hearts, we wish the Kondu family infinite abundance and success in times to come! ??✨️? We hope you find the perfect new location! We are proud customers! You are all wonderful at what you do and have left us regularly craving more Kondu! THANK YOU ? THANK YOU ? ??Bless you and your business!

Food is freaking amazing so sad they are closing down cause of the mall demolitionI need a full platter of their steak and shrimp Teppanyaki like one of those big aluminum platter dishes we use for thanksgiving.

I always enjoy a poke bowl or a teriyaki bowl from here! Their sushi rolls are so good as well and their Milk tea and booba tea aswell! I’d eat here twice a week if I could afford it at this point!

the food was not as others made it out to be, my food wasn't hot and noticed that a worker went outside to smoke and came back inside no hand washing whatsoever, picked up his phone and then started bagging people's food ? I'm so over eating out.

I was referred to this restaurant by a Harrisburg Native, and they did not disappoint. The sushi burritos are to die for and Teppanyaki bowls are flavorful and delicious. I did notice the windows and doors had alot of fingerprints and smudges on them and the dining area was lackluster.. could use a good cleaning and some character. Other than that the food I give five stars.

Quiet place and good food! The reason why it's quiet is because of the dead mall that it's in. But everyone should check it out! It's a chill place if you want to get something to eat and get some work done. Personally, I'd go there whenever I want.

Got a sushi burrito which was pretty tasty! But you could tell the milk tea with boba was made from powder and wasn't very flavorful but was pretty sweet. We also ordered a teppanyaki bowl which was made up of a lot of under seasoned chicken and uncut iceberg lettuce which wasn't the most flavorful experience.

So I was given a gift card by a friend to try Kondu. Glad they did! Really good food, reasonable prices. Clean and quick. Nothing too spicy. Really enjoyed the meal. With enough for a little leftover later. I had the steak veggie and rice bowl. They call it a teppanyaki, with a side order of spring rolls. They did a quick hibachi style cook on the teppanyaki, and dropped the spring rolls for me. A few minutes later they serve at the table in a to go bowl for leftovers. The spring rolls were I am guessing frozen, but they were good quality, and tasted amazing. Everything else was freshly made. I understand that a lot of the side you just don’t keep all the fresh veg on hand for.The seating needs reupholstered, and the inside is showing some wear. With that mall possibly closing huge areas of the old mall, and they are unsure if the lease will be renewed. I would not update them at this time either. So I didn’t take any stars away, it is a transitional time for them. Let’s hope that they can stay, because I will be going back.Parking: Plenary of space, right out front, ramp access for people with stair issues.

My daughter got a sushi burrito and a boba tea, and both were beyond horrible she said. I got what was supposed to be the teppan steak, it was nothing but rice, raw vegetables, no terreyaki sauce, barely any steak (if you want to call it that, no taste and was like chewing on a sponge and or rubber), and the rice wasn't even good. The soda machine squirts everywhere when you fill your cup. The place was filthy, all the seats have the vinyl coming off. We threw our food and drinks away. A waste of almost $40. And a ruined birthday dinner. Save your money and go somewhere else, by far the worst food I have ever had anywhere.

So I only got crab rangoons and boba, but I had such a great experience! In the time it took to use the restroom, my order was already finished. The boba has light ice, as it should, super tasty and flavorful, and the restaurant has at least 3 types of boba(popping jellies, regular mixed fruit jellies, and tapioca balls) which is super rare; the crab rangoons had the light and crispy wontons that don't soak up much oil, and it was more than just a sweet and sour red sauce (both a necessity for upscale fried foods!) If there was one suggestion I would make it would be either adding 2 rangoons to the order or stating in the menu that there are 6 per order(typically there are 8 at most restaurants). The atmosphere and furniture was super friendly and classy. Would be a wonderful hangout as well as a date night restaurant. I was confused as to what a sushi burrito is but it looks like it's just uncut sushi roll. I will definitely be coming back to try!
