I’ve been here many times now and I just had to write a review for my recent visit because our experience was very disappointing and nothing was done about it by any of the staff members. My husband and I came for brunch and since there was a 25 minute wait, we asked to sit at the bar but I still put my name down for the waitlist. Upon sitting at the bar, it took about 5-10 for the bartender to acknowledge us and give us menus, then another 5-10 minutes for him to bring us water. We quickly decided on what we were ordering since we were pretty hungry, however it seemed they were understaffed and the bartender took a while before he took our order. Once the food came out, I was very excited about my pancakes since I had been craving good pancakes. Upon taking my first slice of the pancake, it just fell apart. I was surprised and a little confused as I kept picking it up and it kept falling apart. The composition of the pancake was faulty and missing something. It should not be this crumbly. Also, my pancake was over cooked and brown on one of them. My bacon was also over cooked and was charred and hard. My husband got the sausage gravy and chicken with biscuits and he said his food was very dry. Needless to say, we were both underwhelmed with the quality of our food. I did ask the bartender about who the manager was and if there’s a manager for the kitchen. I then asked if I had feedback about the food, who could I talk to. He said he could pass on the message to the chefs. So, I told him about the pancakes and he said that another customer said the same thing. I kept looking around for the manager and made eye contact but he did not pick up on my signal and I wasn’t going to bother him since he seemed to have his mind on something else. It would’ve been nice if he did come by to check in with the customers to ask how things were. I don’t know if the bartender ever gave my feedback to the kitchen staff but I hope they become aware of it.

Had a lovely brunch experience with Lil! Stopped in on a Sunday around 1 pm for cocktails, deviled eggs, a potato doughnut, homestyle eggs Benedict and an omelet with a side of fruit. Everything was fantastic including the ambiance! Building includes three floors of art studios you can explore after dining in.

We had Sara as a server today and she was amazing. I was dining with a friend who has some special needs and Sara was very accommodating.

Millworks is a cute place. We sat outside which is pretty but they could use some fans. Our waiter, Collin (not sure of spelling) was very good. Attentive and personable. However, the chicken special was a little dry. My boyfriend had the hamburger and he said that was good. Then I got the doughnuts. Not anything special and not very sweet. They'd probably be good with ice cream on top, We felt it was a little overpriced. I'm not sure what he thought of the beer.

Food was delicious! SJ was amazing and we had a great time! SJ was extremely personable and really added to our experience. We can't wait to come back again!

The atmosphere here is very lovely. The food not so much. We had to send the kids pancakes back due to being burnt and even the second time they were overdone again. Thankfully we could pull off the burnt layer versus having to ask for replacement pancakes a second time. The same with the potato side for the Benedict were also extremely overcooked. I feel like you are paying for the scene versus the food. There are other places downtown that serve a better brunch.

What a great spot in downtown Harrisburg! Everything is farm to table and very delicious. Our server, Daphne, was so sweet and accommodating. Portion sizes are decent. Wasn't a huge fan of the pot pie - almost crunched on a bone for the first bite. Pot pie also typically has a pastry crust of some kind and this only had noodles. Besides my personal preference, the space was beautiful. Would recommend!

Having picked this place based on reviews and a view of their menu, we thought it a solid choice for our visit to the area. We booked a 4pm reservation, place was quite empty other than a few people at the bar. The atmosphere seemed enough if accompanied with an outstanding menu, to draw more of a crowd...maybe they fill up later in the evening, because still by 5:30pm, when we left..it was still empty. We order brisket pierogies, thinking they were either filled or large pieces of bridket would top them....BLAHHHHH. Tasted like Mrs. T's pierogies with baby pieces of shredded brisket and thin crispy onions. Complete waste of money! WHERE'S THE BEEF!!!!??? I order a garlic fennel sausage pizza. Looked wood fired, could not taste any garlic, or the fennel sausage....found 4 pieces on it. Arugula placed on top...overkill for a tasteless pizza. Kids got chicken sandwiches, they liked them. Mrs. got a Roasted red beet salad, the best thing we tasted along with meat cheese board. Highlight, server Scott was PROFESSIONAL, and deserved the tip I provide regardless of food disappointment. Also the size of the bourbon pour I received was a double anywhere else! Thx Scott...Bulleit rye, one of my favs

Absolutely loved date night on the patio! The Pamela Black artist gin cocktail and gluten free mushroom pizza was outstanding. We will be back!

Came here before the senators game. Wasn't hungry enough for pizza so I tried their Mac n cheese. It was great.

Came to celebrate a new job and the food was AMAZING as ALWAYS! Lil was absolutely fantastic. They were super attentive and graciously ran around for my partner and I. This is one of our favorite spots to dine and we will definitely be requesting Lil in the future!!

Haut Cuisine. If you desire a trendy spot with expertly fiusioned eclectic dishes check this place out. The restaurant serves authentic beers produced in the millwork brewery, and you could even have a flights of various beers to taste. Beer was very good as were the mushroom Burguinon vegetarian dish, and the Khao Soi. More of a fine dining establishment than a family gathering joint.

Simply put this place is GOOD.. It's reasonably priced, and the quality of the food and service is what you would expect at a crazy expensive restaurant. My wife and I are from Florida and have been searching for a delicious place to go out to eat and Millworks is definitely the best so far. Our waitress SJ was phenomenal and everything came out incredibly fast and well presented. We will Definitely be back and will recommend Millworks to visitors and to anyone in the area!

Took a spontaneous 1 1/2 drive for Friday date night and ended up visiting the Millworks. The food was delicious and our server Kerri was so kind and attentive. A great experience!
