I had booked two rooms at this location through Expedia. I called Expedia in January to cancel both rooms. The agent assured me that both rooms were canceled but in fact, only canceled one room. I realized that there was still a room booked 5 days before the reservation and called Expedia to find out why it hadn't been canceled and they tried to negotiate with Doubletree to cancel the room. Doubletree refused to cancel without a charge. While this was Expedia's fault, and they are making good on the charge with me - the Doubletree would not budge and when I tried to call, they picked up the phone and hung up before I could even speak. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Clothes still in closet from prior guest. Bathroom in poor repair. Room was also in poor condition. Poorly patched wall, stains on couch, and heavy scratches on surfaces. Restaurant and room service was not available due to remodeling. The kids enjoyed the pool. I was not very pleased with how clean it was. Also the nice big hot tub in the pictures has been filled in and tiled over. Arcade was typical hotel arcade disappointing and not fully operable. The breakfast option available was food but for the money going somewhere else was a better option. If you stay here and get a room with windows to the center remember to make sure your blinds are closed. Just a few feet into the lobby is a gallery of windows into guest rooms. At 175.00 a night a little disappointed.

What a great experience. Rooms were clean, plenty of towels. The front desk employees were really nice. Complimentary cookies were so delicious . Although we didn't use the pool, it was huge and what a great area for kids. Definitely staying here again.Rooms: Very clean

The pool was spectacular! A nice splash pad for the Littles and a big enough pool for the adults and big kids. Staff was very friendly. Knocked it one star on service because my digital card wouldn't work, but the front desk was able to give physical cards.

Had an issue checking in so had to call Expedia but Ashley at the front desk was extremely helpful. You get cookies at check in which are good. Room was nice only things I didn’t like was no microwave and the pillows went flat as soon as you put your head on them. LOVE the pool area. Traveled with two toddlers and it was perfect for them. There was a trail close by that we walked. I will definitely be back.

Excellent service if you are in suit and tie. But if you worked a 12 hour shift and try to get WiFi from Barbra at the front desk she will make you feel like an idiot. She entered a promotion code to make my WiFi functional. And didn’t tell me how/why !! Went to front desk 3 times before I figured it out with NO HELP!!!!!!! So if you have to add an extra week to your stay just ask for the promotional code. Because if not she will act as though it’s the first time you stayed in a “ fancy/ out of your pay grade hotel “.Ps the other things they make you answer are (stupid) not fair!Nearby activities: Nice horses

We stayed in a double queen room with a seven year old and we really enjoyed ourselves. The property is very pretty, clean, and well kept. Our room was large and well furnished, we enjoyed the large smart TV in the room, the restaurant was enjoyable (although a larger or more varied menu would be even more appreciated) and the pool was our favorite part. Despite multiple families enjoying the pool while we were there, it was large enough that we didn’t feel crowded. Our daughter enjoyed the separate kid’s play area as well. We will definitely be back!Rooms: Our standard double queen room was comfortable, the beds were nice, I didn’t hear anything from the hallway or other rooms.Food & drinks: Small dinner menu, but enjoyable. Needs more vegetarian options. Breakfast is $15 per person, but I thought it to be a nice spread and a good price for it being buffet style and the different options they had (pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, potatoes, fruit, bagels, etc).

Rooms need a bit of spiffing up. Seem tiredSmelled “ skunk” when I stepped out of elevator to 3rd floor. Also the way the beds are made is unacceptable. One thin polyester “duvet” between two flat sheets. No top sheet whatsoever. I would never make a bed up like that for a guest in my house. No blankets in room.Informed front desk at check out regarding the skunk (pot) smell and the cheap way the bed was made up. Front desk response was “ I’m sorry. Hope you have a nice trip home.”I called corporate to complain as well

Nice hotel a few miles south of Downtown Lancaster. Friendly staff who will go the extra mile to help you, especially Kirsten. Comfy beds. Breakfast had limited selections but good food - french toast and pancakes with real berries, made to order omlettes, and more. Yum.Keep in mind the two room suite, despite costing more, isn't significantly bigger than the regular rooms with two queens. It just means you have a sofa and a bed in separate rooms with a door in between so people have some privacy. Not necessarily worth paying more. There is supposedly some indoor water park on the second floor, but I, a single, male adult, did not use it. But I guess kids like it.If you're not using the pool, water park, or any other activities, it may not be worth the extra cost, unless you have the $200 Amex Hilton resort credit like I do. But if you have a family and want fun at the hotel, I guess it's a good deal.Rooms: Two room suite is not much larger than regular room, but you have privacy between the living room (with sofa bed) and bedroom.

Im giving this location 3 stars.Pros: Rooms were nice and somewhat updated, They have an indoor heated pool with a heated kids' water park pool. There is a fun arcade beside the pool area, which was fun. They also have a huge indoor court yard for conferences, etc.Cons: Customer service, I travel all the country year round and stay in Hilton properties everywhere, including overseas. I have been a Diamond member for at least 4+ years. I booked my room for 1 night and my travel plans had changed so I needed the room for another night. Someone else had reserved the room for that night. Now, I have been bumped from my room that I've reserved at least 5 times by other Hilton locations over the years. The front desk wouldn't move the reservation and, instead, made me move into a smaller room. One thing i have learned in 5+ years of travel is that a reservation is not a guarantee you'll get that room, flight, spot, etc etc. I reluctantly agreed to move rooms, but the front desk staff didn't say sorry, give me discount, offer points nothing whatsoever. So just understand booking at this location, and being a Diamond member means nothing to the staff here. They could care less that I paid top dollar for that room by directly from Hilton instead of saving money by booking through a travel website. I understand they have the right too to modify or refuse a room. I just hope whoever got the room I wanted to stay in was a Diamond member as well and didn't book through one of the discount travel sites. Another issue is housekeeping. Both mornings they banged on the door at 8:30am and 9am. I don't know if this is from poor management, maybe the front desk doesn't communicate with housekeeping on who has checked out, or if a shortage of staff so they have to start before you check out. Be sure to tell the front desk that you don't want to be disturbed, otherwise they are coming in. I'm not sure why they can't wait till 11am like nearly all the locations I have stayed at. The onsite restaurant was ok. The breakfast is definitely not worth what they charge. It's the exact same brand of food you get at Hampton Inn for free. Save your credits for dinner if you're staying another night or check in before dinner. The hamburger and shrimp dinner was good. Service in the restaurant was good also. You can save money on breakfast by walking across the street to Starbucks.Lastly, not a pro or con, just an FYI, If you're like me and are traveling with your wife and no kids, don't bet on the pool not being loaded with kids. Both days, parents had the pools and arcade loaded with kids. If you are traveling with kids, then you'll be right at home. Otherwise, be ready for the onslaught of kids in the heated pool. Kidless people bear in mind that this is a kids waterpark.
