The Scarlet Runner catered our daughter's wedding this past weekend. We are so glad we did. Hillary was competent, relaxed, accomodating and wonderful to work with. The food was amazing!!! Our guests raved about it. Hillary and her team exceeded our expectations.

After considering several options, we selected Scarlet Runner to cater my daughter's wedding reception (150 guests). Two major factors were the quality of the short rib dish, and Hilary. We definitely made the right choice! I'm sure it takes tremendous skill to serve a delicious dinner to 150 people, and the Scarlet Runner staff performed superbly. My dinner of sweet potato soup and short ribs was at a level I would expect of a top-ranked restaurant, and this was at a catered event. Very impressive. In the days following the wedding we've had numerous guests offer unsolicited praise for their dinner, questions about who did the catering, etc. I'm just delighted with the performance and results of the the SR staff, they really delivered.

I cannot honestly yet say that I have tasted these pies, but after talking to Toby (an after hours call back no less) regarding a special circumstance pie delivery, he simply couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. I look forward to trying his wares. If his pies are as good as his personality, I'm sure they'll be terrific. Mike

I love Hilary and the Scarlet Runner. They recently catered my wedding and I couldn't have asked for anything better. My guest raved about the food, especially the duck. The food was local, very farm to table style. The services was great, and she did a wonderful job setting up and taking down. I really couldn't say anything bad about my experience with the Scarlet Runner and I'm looking forward to enjoying a sunday supper some day.

Picked up an Italian Roast Pork Sandwich and Butternut Squash Soup from the Scarlet Runner stand at Building Character on Sunday 2/17/2012. So glad I did, the pork was tender and the bread exceptional,not to mention the seasonings. Soup was delicious, too. I am never disappointed when I purchase food from Hilary @ The Scarlet Runner!
