Food was fresh and very tasty. Generous portion sizes for each entree we ordered. Would recommend The Evil Jungle Princess entree. It hit all the spots for me. The spicy chicken fried rice was also delicious. If you like a little heat with your meal that is the route to go. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!

Ate at Lemongrass last evening with wife and another couple. Menu was small compared to other Thai restaurant menus, however, the choices were varied and the food was delicious with lots of flavor. Parking was easy on the street or in the Clipper stadium parking across the street. Have listed it as one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Lancaster.

What a gem! I joined a friend for lunch today and was so pleased with the experience. Service was prompt and incredibly friendly. We each went with the lunch special, which includes an appetizer (rice balls; spring rolls), soup (coconut soup or spicy lemongrass soup) or salad, and a lunch-sized entree (several Thai curry options; drunken noodles) for $10.50. We each ordered different options to get a good sense of their offerings. They offer fresh and fried spring rolls- we went with fresh. Packed with fresh, local veggies and chicken, they were incredibly flavorful; the accompanying sauce was delightful but not necessary. We also got the rice balls, which were delicately flavored and lightly fried then drizzled with a slightly spicy sauce. Soups were flavorful but I don't have much to say about them, frankly. I'm not a fan of Thai soups but my friend really enjoyed his coconut soup. Each of us ordered a curry- I got the Panang and he ordered the Musaman. The sauces in each were brightly flavored (and colored) with a smooth mix of the curry and coconut milk, and a wonderful mix of fresh, crisp vegetables and chicken. They were magnificent and just cooked perfectly. The only downside to this spot is its location, in that it is easily missed. It is on N. Prince St., right across from the Barnstormers Stadium. We parked in the stadium lot but there is free on-street parking as well. I look forward to returning soon!

After approximately 7 years of this location not being open to the public, Lemongrass has recently reopened their doors. The owners had a Thai stand in Central Market and used this as their kitchen to prepare items for market day. The owners are a mother and son team, both chefs, who closed their market stand and decided to reopen this historic restaurant. Their menu is shorter than the 'old' Lemongrass menu however some of the same items remain including some new ones. You will find mostly classic Thai dishes but there are a couple fusion dishes on the menu that look interesting, a sign of the son's influence who spent some time in Hawaii. Currently, they are offering a lunch special which I chose. Three courses. I chose the Coconut Soup, Rice Ball, and Panang Curry with chicken. The coconut soup was light, creamy, and warming with shredded chicken, sliced bell peppers and fresh lemongrass. The rice ball arrived fresh out of the fryer, hot throughout, crispy and flavorful with its accompanying sriracha aioli. Finally, the Panang Curry arrived with white rice. A side of chili was also provided in case I wanted to customize the heat level. The Panang was smoky and slightly sweet and was a nice way to finish the meal. After talking with the chef I learned that they source as many ingredients as possible locally inluding local grass fed beef from a purveyor at the farmer's market. I also learned of some upcoming specials they are considering. Check them out when you are in town.
