The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon “O” is fantastic! This wine is luscious, full bodied, and a bargain considering the wines of the world! My husband and I paired this with braised beef short ribs-a marriage made to delight! “O” is rich in color - dark garnet- with gorgeous flavors of dark fruit, cherry, blackberry, cassis, chocolate, and hints of coffee. To top things off, the tannins are mellowed and balanced. I hope Amy, the winemaker, will keep developing wine of this caliber.

Beautiful tasting room with an amazing staff and clientele. Kelly was fantastic telling us about the wine and a pleasure to talk to. The wines are amazing and the Chardonnay and Merlot were incredible. Merlot gets a bad rap and the most expensive and sought-after wine in the world has Merlot in it. For the quality of the wine the price is more than reasonable.

Great tasting experience! Great wine, atmosphere, and service. Lorraine was so nice and so knowledgeable on the different wines Thorn Hill has to offer. Definitely going back!

The staff was excellent and very attentive! The wine was very tasty! Atmosphere delightful! Unlike any winery I have ever visited in PA. This is a California based establishment that brings their product to Lancaster County and you can taste the difference.

We had a bridal shower for my daughter here. We had an entire private room to ourselves which was beautifully decorated, with private bathrooms. Wine was delicious. Rachel, the owners daughter was our personal server for wine. She even helped us decorate! If your looking for somewhere with good fair rental prices and good customer service this place is a gem.

Stopped in to grab a nice bottle of wine for a nearby camping trip. Located in a strip mall, the place is deceptively artsy on the inside. The walls are adorned with beautiful artworks and the staff is extremely friendly. The woman who helped me was very knowledgeable and approachable and sent me off with a great recommendation. There is seating outside with umbrellas and if you become a wine club member, you get a free glass on your birthday along with other perks. Cheers!

We were at Thorn Hill for a pre-scheduled tasting for our large group of ladies and had a fabulous time. Lorraine led the tasting and she was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy, and had great information about the wine selections. They had a wine that everyone liked from sauvignon blanc, to cabernet, to ice wine. Everything was delicious and they were very accommodating.

This was a very different thing than I expected. I'm giving it 5 stars for what it is (rather than what I was expecting). 1) Their wine is all from Northern California. If you're thinking you'll be trying PA wines, that is not the case. If you're wanting a change from PA wines, this is a great opportunity! 2) This is a wine tasting place in a strip mall. From the outside it's extremely unassuming... but it's well labeled, so you can be confident you're in the right place. The inside looks as you'd like: spacious, clean, room to relax. As I was sitting inside, casually doing a tasting, I completely forgot we were in a strip mall. Well-done! An added bonus of the location: there are a LOT of good food choices nearby! The prices. Yowza! I did like some of the wines, but not enough to pay for the bottle (~$40). But I enjoyed a tasting ($10 for 4 tastings) and also ordered an extra glass of wine. They have 2 fixed tasting menus to choose from. I asked to switch out one of the wines for a different one, and that wasn't a problem at all. The customer service was nice. The woman was friendly and attentive, and not obtrusive or pushy. She was there when I wanted her, but was also content to let me sit, relax, and enjoy the wine. I love the ambience. There are a lot of tables and chairs, placed nicely around so you can enjoy your own space or have a nice drink with friends without being on top of each other. A wine bar of sorts. It is nicely decorated - feels warm and welcoming.

We were at this establishment about 9 months ago. Had an absolutely wonderful time thanks to the owner and his daughter. So we decided to stop in today on our way home from Hershey. So sorry we bothered. The lady running the shop could not have been more unwelcoming. We couldn’t wait to leave! Won’t be back if she’s there! No matter how good the wines are. We can buy wine anyplace, we go to wineries for the experience, and this one was horrible!

This wine is nothing special. Not much different than your typical gas station wine. If you want a California wine you can do WAY better.
