I stopped in over the Memorial Day weekend. The place was very nicely remodeled and decorated but only had 3 slices of pie! How can you call yourself a pie shop and be out of pie at noon on a holiday weekend??? Like I said very nice inside and out but was out of pie!?!?!
After a late summer afternoon of feeding the fish at the spillway, we stopped at Twin Pies for the first time. Wow! The selection of treats to choose from was a surprising and mouthwatering variety of brownies, cakes, cookies, scones, cheesecake, and of course pies. We settled on a slice of berry pie, one slice of peach pie, and got a cheesecake to go. The peach pie was creamy and delicious, the berry pie flavorful and the perfect balance of tart/sweet. My wife took me here and it’s a beautiful little place with an amazing interior and some of the best Strawberry Rhubarb I’ve ever had. My wife had the Reese’s pie and it was amazing.
