soild food. i had the fish and chips, three generous fish portions cooked well, a little oily, but not too bad. fries were really salty. wife had the shepherds pie, i tasted it, it was good. others in my party said the place is still the same as it was 20 and 30 years ago when they were in college and that the food has been consistently good. so if you have been doing something well for several decades that must be a good sign.

Very enjoyable family restaurant pub, with an old Irish flavor, the meals are absolutely delicious old kitchen flavor, highly recommended the shepherd's pie. ABSOLUTEY MOUTHWATERING. Waiting staff is extremely friendly and I will definitely come back. Six stars if I could.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, Yummy??

Used to frequent this pub prior pandemic and the food was always your decent typical bar food. Went back tonight and it was pretty bad. Big mistake, ordered the philly cheese steak and it came with a side of fries. The cheesesteak was a wet soggy mess as it had been placed on top of a pile of dill pickles and juices that soaked through to the roll and meat that made it impossible to pick up. Definitely a knife and fork required to eat this sandwich and you must also like dill pickle juices (of which I'm not a fan). I never asked for dill pickles. The fries were super skinny limp short strings of potatoes with tons of heavy Parmesan cheese and s&p. The fries came out cold and the waitress was super nice about replacing them with hot ones from the kitchen. The table top and booth were in need of a very deep cleaning and or replacement, despite the pandemic. The entire restaurant needed an overhaul. Your feet stuck to the floor from spills that had to have been there for quiet awhile. McSheas is a local pub with lots of town drunks who frequently curse very loud. I think they try to see who can say the f... word the absolute loudest! Please order something else if you happened to go and do go during the day before the local regulars get their drunk on, not very kid friendly unless you don't mind the foul language. PS service was good and super friendly.

The best food, both in-house and catering, the coziest atmosphere, and the greatest family. Trivia night is a blast. Huge portions of the fish and chips and if they have clam chowder on the menu order it, I still think about it weeks later.

My favorite bar, my favorite people ? This is like home away from home. I can’t explain the vibe in here, but it always feels so welcoming. Aileen is the best.

First time here, and was so pleasantly surprised to see vegan food on the menu! The grilled veggies with hummus and lentil salad and pita was absolutely delicious! Thank you!

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable
