My wife and I visited Solstice in Newtown, PA on 4-15-22 to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was our first visit to Solstice because our daughter and her husband had a wonderful dinner there on their first visit and they urged us to try it as well. We were not disappointed! Reservations were easy to make online and once we arrived a wonderful dinner experience commenced. Upon asking for our table my wife was greeted with happy birthday wishes from the front desk attendants. We were shown to our table which was at a pair of very comfortable and roomy booth type bench seats. Service was polite, friendly and efficient. We ordered drinks before dinner and as the drinks arrived at our table, a waiter informed us the chef had sent each of us a small tasting sample (amuse-bouche) of something on the menu that evening. The amuse-bouche was delicious. The Solstice menu features food selections based on what the current season is so as seasons change, so does the menu. We started our dinner with salads: Strawberry Arugula Salad for her and the Solstice Salad for me. Both salads were delicious. My wife's entree was the Halibut Bouillabaisse and mine was the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. Both entrees were also delicious. We finished our dinner by sharing a dessert (Olive Oil Cake with Apricot Jam and Frozen Yogurt). As our dessert arrived so did a special little dessert for my wife's birthday: a Chocolate Mocha Custard complete with a birthday candle. Both desserts were absolutely scrumptious! Our first Solstice visit was truly amazing and obviously, we'll be returning to investigate the Summer Menu.

We thought we would give Solstice a try, always looking for something new. We were surprised at how bright it was, but of course it was still daylight. We liked the open airy feeling of the dining area. The wait staff was very enjoyable. We got an honest opinion of what was popular and they were very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. Our whole table got the Malbec Braised Short Rib. It was so tender and tasty. The greens and potatoes that were served with it was delicious also. The menu does change with the season's, just so you are aware, but this was the Spring menu. You've got to try the Whiskey Special's! To finish off, we stayed for dessert since the service was so fast and we were having a great time. I highly recommend the Butter Cake. Enjoy! We did, and will definitely go back!

Wonderful night out. Beautiful and so clean. All very high quality menu items that were all delicious. Partner and I got multiple drinks a variety of foods and a dessert to share, everything was fantastic. Definitely coming back with another couple to share the experience. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Loved every second of it.

We loved Solstice and our igloo experience. We prefer outdoor dining and I know we'd like to come back with family to enjoy again.I hope the igloos come back next winter, even without worries for covid. They are a magical treat that adds to the overall experience. The food was delicious! Served piping hot, very flavorful... our spontaneous meal experience was such a treat! Our server was very accommodating and personable; we really enjoyed our experience. Thank you!

Went for dinner with a friend at 6:30 on a Wednesday which wasn't too packed. We ordered the mussels for the app and it was delicious. Seasoned perfectly and the crostini it came with wasn't too hard.I also got 2 cocktails. The Daiquiri and the Oaxaca old fashioned. Both were boozy and not too sweet. I think they were perfect. For the entree I got the Braised wagyu pappardelle. The sauce was delicious and had plenty of beef. The pasta you can tell was definitely handmade and cooked perfectly. I just thought the noodles were a tad bit too wide. It's almost like eating 3 inch wide sheets which makes it a little more difficult to enjoy. For dessert my friend and I shared the Coffee-spiced ricotta doughnuts along with the apple butter cake. Both were excellent. I wish the butter cake came with a little bit more ice cream to match the cake ratio 50/50 but nonetheless enjoyed it fully. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Will be back again to try their other dishes and drinks!

Our party enjoyed everything about our visit! The lounge area was comfortable and inviting. We found the overall contemporary atmosphere of Solstice to be engaging, particularly the circular overhead lighting. The igloo dining experience offered privacy without isolation. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had polite managers check in with us during our meal. The exclusive menu offered delectable choices; the result being outstanding dishes from appetizers to dessert. We truly enjoyed our dinner at Solstice!

Beautiful place, excellent service and food. We started with sparkling waters with lime. We shared the deviled egg appetizer. Our waiter told us if we wanted more bread, he would bring it. Soon he reappeared to ask if he could bring the bread which he did. Nice touch. We enjoyed our crab cakes. They were quite spicy and I loved the hint of smoked paprika. The remoulade sauce was very zesty. I had asked for sweet potatoes instead of French fries. They were delicious as were my friend's Brussels sprouts. I might return just for veggies they were so good! The food here is pricey, but we appreciated the whole vibe, service and the delicious food. We both agreed we would be back!

Came here for a Sunday brunch.... Pros: - visually pretty inside and spacious. - staff is nice Cons: - they forgot one of our entrees and didn't even check on us after they were landed. - waited at least 20-30 min for our meals. - the food is mediocre: * The stuffed French toast had a chewy / tough texture on the outside and almost gooey/raw inside. The marmalade underneath it and pears did not taste good with it at all. It was an odd flavor combo... * The green apples on the chicken and waffles were bitter / sour and unnecessary. * The biscuits are these tiny little dried up things that were laughable and they were served with the same marmalade as the French toast. * The salads had a bitter, flavorless dressing. * The pork sausage still had some pink in the center and needed another minute to cook. For the price there are much better places for brunch in the area.

Wow! This place is so good! As I was looking through Yelp, I saved a few Restaurants and as soon as I came across Solstice, something about caught my eyes. I loved the ambience and modern decor. The cocktail list didn't seem like much, but it tasted GREAT. We ordered the cheese bored- so good. My main dish was the scallops with a side of fries. And holy WOW the best scallops I EVER had. Desert was good. I am also Gluten sensitive so the fact they had the GF under the foods free of gluten was awesome. Highly recommend!

My friend started with Butternut Squash soup, she said it was very good. We shared the hummus it was good. We all had Halibut Bouillabaisse and we all liked it a lot. I deducted a star because the portions were on the small side and a bread basket should of been included with it. We did ask for bread and he did bring some over. Great waiter, very knowledgeable about the menu. All in all good food and nice atmosphere.

I have always heard solstice was great but my husband and I went for the first time for an early valentine's day. The service was great (thanks, Carl B!) and the food and drinks were amazing! Love their concept of seasonal food. Side note: Highly recommend the tequila cocktail!

Place is nothing but amazing. Celebrated my sister’s birthday. Great attention and friendly service from everyone. Menu is seasonal with a vast variety. Everything is exquisite. Flavors and presentation will blow you away. If i could give it 10 stars i would. Cannot wait to go back with more friends and family.
