Checked this place out based upon multiple reviews which lament about it not being Dunkin’ (which I consider to be a compliment — different strokes for different folks, I guess). If you are looking for a café that uses terminology like “single-origin” and “farm-direct,” that’s the kind of place that this is — and it’s a good one! Enjoyed the coffee and conversation with the barista, and checked out the nearby riverside trail (since this location is takeout-only), and had an all-around great experience. Would definitely come back next time I am in… whatever (very nice) little blip of a town this is in.
This place has recently become my go to coffee spot. The coffee is fantastic and it’s consistent EVERY, SINGLE, TIME. I also may have a slight obsession with the homemade protein balls! I’ve only used the park location, but am excited to try their newest location in Dunmore! If you haven’t tried you are definitely missing out!!
The coffee was bitter and watery. I’ve had better coffee from the gas station if I’m being honest. Also, the muffin was hard a rock. Would not recommend. Also overpriced.

Got 2 matcha lattes & an apple muffin here for $15. The matcha lattes were practically cups of sweet milk, hardly any matcha at all, barely even green. The muffin was made obviously days and days ago and had a sell by date on it ? is this not a cafe?? I won’t be back here.
Get ready to spend $20+ on poorly made coffee and get possible food poisoning from their food. Just go to the Dunkin around the corner.

Extremely rude, you don't get drinks or food as they should be properly made even when spending $7+. I'll stick to dunkin' and other locally owned coffee shops.

Their cappuccino was terrible, not to mention they serve it in an incredibly small cup size that I’ve never seen before. Muffins in their fridge are rock solid and broke apart as soon as I took a piece from it. Would never buy from here again.

Had an iced matcha latte. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever in that drink. Not a hint of sugar. I make this drink all the time so I could tell they had only used matcha powder and milk to make this drink. Cost me about $6 for that drink when I could’ve made it a million times better at home. Also they’re way overpriced.
Convenient hours and location, nice variety of options for food & drink

Coffee drinks are always fresh and delicious. Coffee itself is the best in the area. Protein balls are fantastic! The prices are just right!
Vegetarian options: Electric City is very good at offering a lot of options.

Cute little coffee shop with some hot or cold options for a quick snack. They also rent bikes for a day, which is nice with the river trail right there. Only outdoor seating, but they are open 7am-7pm for the summer.

The coffee is great here and the location is very accessible. I hust wish there was an inside area available to enjoy their phenomenal products.
I have been a customer of ECR since the beginning days. I very much miss the indoor cafe. I hope in the future they cab expand to accommodate for the winter season. The chairs specifically the lawn chairs were pretty uncomfortable. It would be nice It pillows were added for some comfort. There seasonal drinks are interesting. Hoping for a peppermint mocha this Christmas!!! I requested a pumpkin smoothie for the fall though still waiting on that.... I also suggested coconut whip cream. As basically all the local grocers carry it. I belive customers who can not have cows milk whip would go crazy for it! They have a nice selection of pastries. The lemon bar is very good. Chocolate chip and oatmeal cookie yummy as well. Hoping they bring in a vegan pastry. My favorite hands down has got to be the protein balls! So delicious, give you energy , priced right!Favorite drink so far would be the bannarama smoothie. Also like the iced green and black teas. It is in a great location, just a 2 minute walk from the valley community library. Also located on the outskirts of the lovely formally "Mellow Park" now called Blakely recreational park. Oh to top it off they have a program with Lackawanna heritage trail. This allows you to rent a bike FREE for the day. So awesome! All you have to do is fill out a papper ,,provide them with is your ID until you return. Lil sad that the hours are now shortened to weekends only...Overall a great lil cafe ♡
