Great place for any kind of meal. My wife and I went for dinner and had great homemade meals and enjoyed the great nostalgic atmosphere. The outside and main entrance is decivingly bland but hides a wonderful hidden gem. Would highly recommend.

Busy Sunday and the staff was nearing the end and yet they servered us with a smile. The food arrived quickly and was delicious.I hope the coin trick helped make the day go better.

Old fashioned diner with delectable food , retro memorabilia on the walls and smiling waitresses. Will be back for more food.

Now this is a diner! If you’re looking for a high-end restaurant, maybe a little bistro where you can order avocado toast and a latte, the take your behind dahn there to Shadyside. But if you want to experience a diner in its truest form, then Rinne’s Place is it.This place is the real deal, not a cheap diner knock off that many have come accustomed to. The atmosphere takes you back to a time before cell phones, electric cars and Google reviews. The staff is extremely pleasant, the prices wallet-friendly and the food, well it’s probably some of the best diner food I’ve had. We’ve eaten here many times and we’re never disappointed. So if your nose is stuck up so high that if it rains you’d drown, stay away. But if you’re nostalgic, humble and hungry, check out Rinne’s. Or don’t- better for us that this place remains a secret.

Was driving past here and thought if like to try a mom and pop restaurant. The place was dingy, food was over priced and portions small. Friend asked about two different items and was told they were out of both. The waitress seems like we were bothering her to take our order. Drinks tasted old and flat.

Good diner-style food and friendly service in a neighborhood restaurant straight out of the 50s. Stick with the basics - omelets are nothing special, but coffee, bacon, eggs and potatoes are all well done.
