This was my first time coming here and having Indian food it was also my birthday & everything was So so so good. Highly recommend. Food was delicious, the restaurant itself was gorgeous, and the staff was amazing. So nice. I'm from New York but will deff come back if I'm ever in Philly again.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Sura. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Cocktails were unique and elegantly presented. Date night special table was a wonderful evening for the two of us.

We expected the brunch menu but received a notice about being served the dinner menu 45 min before the reservation. We were a large party and I did not appreciate the short notice. Several items were off the changed menu because they were sold out. Our server was wonderful but the service itself was ok. No one knew which order was for a table and a couple of items were missed.

Check the menu before going. Their weekend brunch menu doesn't have many choices. We missed that the lunch menu is only for Monday-Friday and ended up with very limited options on a Saturday. It wasn't worth going over weekend lunch.

Such a disappointing experience. I understand they just opened but we waited over an hour for mediocre food. Water wasn't refilled. No basic courtesy or service passion. Shockingly bad.

Made a reservation for 12 people. Service was attentive and accommodating. Food was prepared quickly, and was enjoyed by all. Including by our friends who grew up eating similar cuisine. My tandoori kebabs were flavorful. The curries were great. As was the naan. Mixed drinks were great.

Very average. Our server was super nice and attentive. Food was no better than standard Indian take out. Nothing interesting. Place is pretty . I wanted to love it but ....hopefully with some time it will come around. It has potential.

Amazing experience. The service (Melvin) was great, we love the food and the presentation was unlike our experience at other Indian restaurants. For whiskey lovers, try the Chai Rye!

This restaurant opened newly a week ago and should be geared to please the customers. I ordered Biriyani, which is a staple in any Indian restaurant. But they had run out by 7 PM. Unthinkable in any Indian restaurant, particularly because the restaurant wasn't busy. There was no finesse in their cooking. All curries consisted of lot of heavy cream and tomato sauce. I am from India and that is not how korma curry is made. They have used a lot of fancy names for their dishes, but don't be fooled by those names. None of the dishes served to us and in the two neighboring tables looked eclectic. They even messed up something like fish fry. The batter coating was soft and soggy as if it was heated up in a microwave. The food may be compared to that from Indian restaurants in New Jersey shopping strips. This was Americanized Indian food without not much authenticity. Everybody's food arrived late, after 50 minutes Sorry not going back. The only redeeming feature was the poor waiter who had to constantly apologize for all these deficiencies. He was a kind man.

Amazing food (traditional and contemporary vibes) and great service. Great ambiance with some classic Bollywood hits playing in the background. Great for vegan, veg and non veg patrons. Great for an intimate date night as well as larger groups (they have some larger spaces on the second and third floor). The GM will help arrange anything you need!

The bartender was great and treated our group exceptionally well. The food was delicious - the only thing is that you can only order HH at the bar.

Wonderful from the moment we walked in until we left! Host was incredible and made us feel so welcomed and the bartender/server was phenomenal! Celebrated a birthday and there were zero issues. Food was delicious and I can't wait to return. 10 out of 10. Happy hour was great too and small but beautiful restaurant!

Best cocktails in Philadelphia! My friend and I enjoyed the ayur dhatu and panchakarma (pictured). We also got the turmeric tide and healing touch (not picture). My favorite is the healing touch cocktail because it was very refreshing with the right amount of alcohol. The bartender, Miles, is really nice, conversational, and makes really delicious cocktails. The restaurant itself is very aesthetic inside and has a romantic ambiance. I would 100% come back here for cocktails. Thanks so much Ancient Spirits!

The food was well paced, presented and very flavorful. We had the duck and octopus entrees and both were satisfying, we shared chicken tika flatbread and a chicken frittata app that were surprisingly juicy. I will return here
