BEWARE!!On March 7, 2024 an acquaintance dined at the Chestnut Hill location. The total bill (not including gratuities) of $92.69 was charged & paid in full. The server named DELANEY, intentionally added her tip (without the customer's consent or knowledge. That's considered theft!!!I'm certain that this wasn't her first time stealing from unsuspecting customers.Management called it a mistake, issued a reimbursement & promised to "speak" to DELANEY.Calling corporate was futile-they NEVER answer the phone.Photograph your signed receipt & keep a watchful eye on your account activities.TIPS ARE EARNED NOT MANDATORY!!!

Cocktails are amazing, staff is extremely nice but the kitchen here needs A LOT of work. My partners pizza was dry, my turkey burger was dry and missing all of the toppings that it was supposed to come with, I sent the burger back they added the bacon but it was still missing all the other toppings lol I wasn’t going to send it back again. Good place to come for a cocktail then go elsewhere to eat I guess.

Very very poor service. We sat at a table for over 15 minutes then had to ask if someone could help us. I asked for a beer and was told it takes a long time to pour nitro - then watched the bartender start my beer (order was never put in). Don't lie to customers please. Should not take 20 mins to get a beer. The food was greasy. Far below what we expected based on past experiences.

I've been coming for several years to enjoy the Rib slab, pull pork sandwich, or crab lump. This past Sunday found me sorely disappointed. They no longer offer a rib slab on the menu. The crab cake was a fake stuffing something on a bun (sandwich)as the crab was a no show. The pulled pork sandwich and fries were much colder than the pleasant 68° outside. My wet beer tasting glass smelled of bleach. Hostess was not found as customers waited. It was fairly empty, but tables were not cleared. A young patron skated about tables. Untrained service so disappointing. Topped by 50 pt GSW loss. Go anywhere but there.

Don’t get the fish tacos. They only allow a minimum amount of fish on each taco. The one small piece on each taco was smaller than a mrs Paul’s fish stick. The waiter Was great and the manager was super nice as well but wouldn’t go back for the food.

Food was good but since we were a party of 8 it took a long time for it to come. I think our server had too many tables so she was overwhelmed. She did the best she could though . Our food when it came was tasty & well prepared. The mushroom soup was so tasty. Salads fresh. Maybe try and hire a few more people? Otherwise always tasty food at Iron Hill

This is not part of a review, just a note about prevention. As we stood waiting in the reception, our three year grandson old found the fire alarm box, as it's just at toddler level, next to the fire extinguisher. He had his hand on it just as my husband swooped down to stop possible calamity. Perhaps it's harder to pull than it looks, but that needs to be considered. Thank you for a lovely dinner. We had a party of 7 around 7pm so I realize that's the busy time, but both food and service were less than average. Three burgers were burned and no one came to check how our food was. Salad was brought without dressing and we had to wait ten minutes until we saw someone. Applesauce was brought without a spoon. Drinks without refills for the entire time. The burger stated on the menu that it had a brioche bun and was served with a regular store bun. I was going to see the dessert menu, but our service was so bad, I wanted to leave. There's not much worse than being served a meal out at a nice place that you could have made better yourself at home. Sadly, quality and service have gone down everywhere. *I hate complaining and almost have never written a bad review, so this is saying something.*

I don't like it that the server only takes the order, may show up 10 minutes after our plates were delivered, but by then it's too late to ask for another plate. however, the restaurant was able to honor our request for happy hour prices, though we weren't sitting in the designated "happy hour" section of the restaurant.

Golly. What a great place to eat. Golly. What a great place to drink. I'm a huge fan of pretty much everything on the menu. The Philadelphia cheesesteak egg rolls aren't that great, but since when does an Cheesesteak fit inside of an egg roll. Sacrilege. Top tip, if you're here with a group of people, you might actually save money by becoming a member of their Club. I think it cost something like $20 to join, but you get a pretty large percentage off of your first bill when you join. The more you know!

This was my first and last time at this restaurant, unfortunately. Apparently, this location doesn’t seem built to handle groups larger than six in an orderly fashion. On arrival, it was not busy and there were plenty of front house staff available. Hannah helped us out. After ordering drinks, it took us more than 15 minutes to place our food orders and about 40 more minutes to get our orders which at the first go-round wasn’t all ready. Eight out of the 11 of us received our orders and they all came with cold fries and one with a cold burger and fries. We asked a manager, Amber (I believe that’s her name) for hot fries for the whole table and a new burger and fries order. The other three waited for another 10 minutes to get their orders. At the same time, two orders out of the first set were mixed up. Finally received the fries, but the same burger order with fries was consistently incorrect and my friend received them separately at one point. Two people out of our party spoke to the new manager on shift, Erica, and we were offered order removals from the check as well as complimentary desserts - molten lava cakes and ice cream. Fine. The dessert was presented to us as individual items. However, we were unaware that the desserts are “shareable” and were given THREE small lava cakes with two scoops of ice cream to share with 11 people! This was unacceptable and a total slap in the face.We received the check which was twice incorrect and it took Angie, the back of house manager, to come out to us and straighten out the check and to finally have a correct burger and fries order for the one who was missing it from the start. She didn’t even eat and had to take it home! For the most part, our orders were mediocre at best. Why did it take three managers to fix this? Why did the BACK of house manager handle a FRONT of house matter? We were not hostile or rude and the orders were SIMPLE. It’s like the front of house staff gave up on us. We should have spent more time enjoying our meals instead of deciphering orders. Ridiculous and unacceptable.

My husband and I came here for a little birthday dinner and I must say we were absolutely disappointed not with just the food but mainly with the service received today . Let me start by saying it is a Sunday evening and the restaurant was close to empty but for whatever reason it took the server just about 10-15 min to come greet our table to get drinks . Once the drinks were dropped off she did not ask if we were ready to order just hurried off almost like running away . We then had to wait about another 10-15 min for her to return to take our order. My husband requested a very simple burger double stack with just onions cheese and lettuce well done . Upon receiving the order there was no lettuce or onion we waited about 10 min to see if the waiter would appear but no luck . We had no condiments at our table so I had to walk to the front and request ketchup , napkins and for the waitress to return to our table to get the missing toppings for my husbands order . At this point almost 20 minutes has gone by my poor husband just sitting there with cold fries and a cold burger . The waitress finally appears with a random plate of fried onions that we did not ask for and we let her know the missing toppings and that a refill was needed another almost 10 minutes for that . We were well over it at this point the only thing we really enjoyed were the wings and the pizza everything else was just not worth the price charged and the service just made everything so distasteful. Not once was there an apology for any of the issues we encountered . I would have been very understanding if it was a full house but as stated the restaurant was nearly empty and our waitress kept running off to a corner and not attentive to her customers at all. I will not be returning here after this service experience .

The waitress was nice and we got our soup salad and drinks right away but out dinner didn't come for another at least 45 min. She apologized for the wait when she served us but we definitely felt forgotten for all of that time.
