I had a party for a friend of mine and people could not stop raving about money sandwiches! Not only a great sandwich, but a great guy who takes care of his community. He gave us the tray for our party to support a friend of mine. If you’re gonna get a sandwich, you better stop in Lenny‘s! Amazing.

Love the Soprano. The service was always great. Freshest hoagies around. I wish I found them sooner.
The drawbacks are that they close too early and don't deliver 😟

Even though my favorite hoagie spots are deeper in South Philly, I gave Lennie’s a shot for the first time in August 2025—and for the area, it’s become one of my new go-to spots for a quick bite. The hoagie was fresh, and the toppings and ingredients were on point.
I ordered The Soprano, I sub for fresh mozzarella and a solid mix of other toppings. I’m usually not a fan of Dietz & Watson deli meat (as noted in a previous review), but Lennie’s cuts their slices thinner—and that makes a real difference. The texture and balance of the sandwich felt much better because of it. Flavor-wise, it was very tasty.
If you’re in the Roxborough — Lennie’s is a reliable option. I recommended.

I got two hoagies and neither had what I asked for, went to return and they were closed 1 hour earlier than the time listed online.

An amazing selection of awesome hoagies. This place is great!
Place is solid. Their hours are bizarre. They like close at 5 pm basically. I mean I understand it based off one time hanging out in lennies around 530 just weird customers start coming in I understand that. lol this whole town like shuts down at 5 pm tbh. Most places close super early on this road. Food is good tho

Change the times when you close! Says closes at 6pm and you kicked us out @ 450pm. Drove all the way here just to get told no service. Rude too

I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years now. Without a doubt one of the best hoagies in Philadelphia. Try the Robby cutlet!!

Because Trump is in office and the economy is crashing, is he going to start offering discounts after whining that he would upcharge people who voted for Biden? No? Didn’t think so

The snowflake behind the counter got extremely offended when I criticized Fox News. He started rambling conservative talking points and I got screamed out of the store. Not coming back. Not because of your politics (although it is a massive red flag), but the reaction was pathetic and unprofessional.
Food quality was always kind of a gamble there anyway, so no reason to go back.
