The vegan option is gold. From the dough to the crust to the sauce to the veggies. Don’t sleep on this place!

Overpriced, mediocre pizza at best. We’ve had Iron Born three times - each time at the Millvale location. The first time wasn’t great but we thought it was an off day. Gave it a second try and ordered the buffalo chicken pizza which was really good. Ordered it yesterday, and it was some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. That was our last time ordering Iron Born. $18 for a square 6 slice pizza that tastes like the chicken was dehydrated and the pizza was reheated from the night before isn’t worth it! There are soooo many pizza places it Pittsburgh to choose from. Don’t waste your money here! Quality standards are low and consistency is not key!

Disrespectful employees and bad service are talking to you at a level that is almost racism.

Took a chance and was expecting more for how much I was paying but when it arrived it was disappointingly small. Absurdly overpriced.

First time there. Average at best. I am writing this review 4 hours after I ate it, and I can still taste the salt. My thirst is unquenchable. Sauce is on the bitter side. Quite sparse on the toppings. Acid reflux is kicking hard.

Food is always delicious. Employees are short staffed and overwhelmed. Over heard the employees talking and it sounds like the boss won’t hire anyone else. This is the only reason I’m not giving iron born a 5 star. I hope the owner can see this and reply to me that he hired someone. If you do, I will remove the two star review. You’ll make more money in both short term and long term so I hope you get your business situated as your employees deserve a little better

So today I decided I was going to order through DoorDash. The app told me the pizza was going to be done in thirty minutes, so I went to the shop in 30 minutes. I get there and they tell me it will be another hour. I try letting them know what my app said. The lady there and the dude proceeded to blame me and ask me if I wanted to go make the pizza myself. So I said whatever and asked to cancel the order. She then said no and they both started to blame me and the app. Love it when the place u spend your money on is yelling at you, because they are busy. If you’re busy I understand but why would you not tell me that before I ordered on the app.

My husband and I love Detroit style pizza and we saw this place on an Instagram page about places to eat in Pittsburgh. We wanted to love this pizza but it fell a little short. The crust wasn't crispy on the bottom and the cheese was a little sparse. I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. I thought the price was a bit high for the size of the pie. It wasn't bad by any means, I think it just fell short of expectations, but I'd be willing to try it again to see if it was an off night.

Amazing Pizza, great flavor. I loved the crunchy crust and the soft dough with the right amount of cheese and sauce. I was in this town for a Steelers game, but I decided to look around, and I found this great pizza. Make a stop here if you are a pizza lover like me. ?

Gave them a third chance, this is the last. Asked for extra cheese this time because previous times was like a loaf of undercooked bread. This is what I got

I ordered a Red Pie and received it cold. I posted this and received a callback apology and immediate refund. 5 stars for caring about your customers.

Okay. First off- the people were amazing- super laid back, friendly, funny.

And secondly- the food? 100/10. We got the Buffalo chicken pizza, a pepperoni pizza, chips and dip, and a canolli.

The Buffalo chicken pizza was my absolute favorite, but the pepperoni was really good as well. When you first get it- you don't think 6 pieces is very much. BUT I will say they use high quality ingredients and it is super filling. Like I ate 1 piece and was stuffed.

The chips and French onion dip are both home made and also really good.

The canolli- I didn't eat, but my boyfriend said it was really good as well.

So overall, everything was amazing and definitely a new favorite spot. I highly recommend going, you won't be disappointed.

Popular pizza place in Millvale. Their Detroit style pizza is the best I've had. Good place for takeout. Super filling.
