Castle Diner & Family Restaurant

My husband, 2 children and I visited the Castle Diner this evening. We were hesitant to try it but saw the reviews were very good so wanted to give it a try. The food was GREAT! My kids loved the food it was all fresh and you can tell it wasn't frozen food that they heated up. The staff was all nice from the waitress to the bus boy we were pleasnant surprised. We will definitely be returning again. Don't let a bad review or the musky smell of the building discourage you. This place is definitely worth the trip and is a good price for the excellent food and service you receive!

I've been to the Castle Diner with family members close to ten times since they opened. I must say it is my favorite diner in Quakertown. Today I had the banana walnut french toast. They were amazing! I cleaned my plate. Another favorite breakfast item of mine is the stuffed waffles with strawberries. Prices are very reasonable. Service is quick. I haven't had the chance to try lunch yet but I'll be trying it soon. I'd love to see this place more busy because the food is really great. Give it a try! You won't regret it.

I would not recommend. We ordinary wanted to go to Coopersburg Diner for breakfast but they had a wait that was too long for us so we tried here. The food was "okay" at best. The place just felt eerie, not sure how how best to describe it.. kind of a depressed, unwelcoming vibe we got. Staffs service wasn't anything great, the employees just seemed disinterested. Just a weird overall experience

Came here for breakfast and had a great experience - friendly service, coffee never hit empty (and it was good!). Their home fries were perfectly crispy, we also had sourdough French toast, scrambled eggs, scrapple, and sausage. All of the food was of good quality, and well-prepared. Generous portions, as expected at a diner, also. There are a lot of diners on 309, and this is a good one. Try them out if you haven't yet; we'll be back soon!

Just wanted to give a review for the castle Diner. We kept watching other reviews and decided that it was time to give it a try. Huge place, little crowds, large portions, and a colossal menu. The staff was extraordinary attentive. There were five of us and each one of us had something different, one had Mexican, seafood, a steak , Etc. Several of the meals came not only with a salad bar trip but also a cup of soup too! Several people besides our waitress kept visiting our table to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was hot, tasty and very well- plated. I would not say the food was fine cuisine, but just right for the price. I think we will definitely go back. If you were on the fence go and try for yourself. It would be nice to support another local eatery.
