My daughter ordered a cake for her wedding from Imelda. She found a picture of one she liked on her Facebook page. She just wanted it in a different color. The cake my daughter picked was not the cake she received. The cake she received was a lot less detailed. The cake was also falling apart as it was cut. Could not even plate the cake in a whole piece. For the price of over $300 it was a big disappointment. Also ordered cookies from her. The one was over cooked. Another way dry. They were not professional looking at all. I could of made cookies that looked better. At $15 a pound I expected better. For these reasons I can not recommend this shop. The blue cake is the cake she wanted. The purple is the one she received. In reply to your reply, my daughter informed you weeks prior not last minute to the size of cake she wanted. She only sent you the recipe as to inform you in what she was looking for as you has stated that you can make anything. My daughter was also very disappointed to what was received. You are just making excuses to cover up your shoddy work. Your cookies,which I really wish I took pictures of, looked like a class of 12 year old boys made them in home ec. To charge $350 for a cake that looked liked that was a sin. You should take more pride in your work.

absolutely more than pleased with my order. everything turned out amazing and i could not recommend imelda more. will definitely come to her for any sweets i need!!

Very nice local option for your bakery needs! I had ordered my wedding cake from Imelda and she was very friendly and the cake was exactly what I wanted! Instead of freezing a piece of the original I asked for a mini version of the wedding cake for my husband and I’s anniversary which was well priced and tasted exactly the same.

Imelda is my go to cake and cookie lady for any party we have. Ordering is simple and I usually just give her an idea and she works magic making it a perfect surprise everytime. Guests look forward to seeing her creations and eating the delicious creations. We don't just use her for birthdays. We use her just on random weekends when you want a good dessert like her fresh stuffed canolis and Welsh cookies!

We ordered pumpkin pie bites, apple pie bites, candy apples, and pumpkin rolls from Imelda! They were PERFECT at our wedding! Not only that but my original dessert caterer bailed on me last minute and Imelda was able to put this all together for me within a week and a half for 200 guests!

Some of the things look good but they are tasteless. Next time, I'll stick with Bakery Delight.

I started using Imelda for my Catering business about two years ago. Her creations are perfect and tasty, whether a simple sheet cake, creative cookies, crusty breads, or profiteroles (I didn’t even know what they were, but a special request from a client) I find her skills and perfection to her business are outstanding! We used to live in Pa but moved to South Carolina and we were missing some goodies from back home they don't sell here but Cakes by Imelda to the rescue. We just got our package of Welsh cookies and they are wonderful. Cookies came quick and packed well. I will be ordering more soon! Thanks Imelda

The cake was impressive , delicious. It was shaped as a little chick, amazing. We loved the taste, and the cupcakes were delicious as well. I never seen such beautiful cake. Fresh, moist! I hated it to cut it. It was so beautiful! Thanks a lot !!!❤

Imagine it, a beautiful wedding with a blushing (and a bit stressed out) bride finishing with the ceremony and getting ready for the reception just to find out that the cake was delivered a day early to the wrong wedding! (The other bride and groom took the cake and cupcakes that were left home after THEIR guests at them knowing that they weren’t there’s) On a Sunday, with nothing open besides grocery stores, I rushed out of the venue in search of a cake or some cupcakes. When I thought that I was all out of options and the center piece for the reception would not be there, Cakes by Imelda Filip showed up on my Google maps. I rushed there in hopes that there was something delicious to save the wedding. Rushing in, tripping over my heels and dress to see these BEAUTIFUL sunflower cupcakes (the perfect theme). There were more than enough! With the cupcakes there were amazingly decorated cookies and delicious homemade layered cakes. We bought all of the cupcakes, two layered cakes, and at least 30 cookies. We rushed back to the wedding and set everything up. The cupcakes looked amazing in the venue and the bride was so happy and grateful that we were able to get them. Everything was absolutely delicious! I will 100% be coming here again for the amazing food as well as the extremely helpful and welcoming service!
