Very nice place, with excellent food and service too. Our server was very friendly and outgoing, and made some welcomed suggestions.UPDATE 3/24:We had another wonderful meal here on the 9th...Everything was so delicious and exquisitely prepared. Our server was so friendly and pleasant. Even though we had a large group, our orders all came out quickly and at the same time.An added bonus in my opinion: they had 70's & 80's rock music playing the whole time we were there...everyone was jamming out while enjoying the experience !Vegetarian options: Lots of veg. options available

First off, the service was great. Not caring for a full hibachi show, we decided on a regular dining room experience. The food itself was towards the mediocre side. The gyoza was good (can never go wrong with gyoza, though), but the Ishikari nabe was on the bland side (sumo tournament going on right now so I wanted nabe). Now comes the primary issue: business integrity. We had $40 worth of gift certificates that were paid for that we were PROMISED would be good even after a year (the date was even left blank intentionally). The manager was a broken record about the year from the issuance date despite the intentionally blank date field.TLDR; never buy a gift certificate from this place as you are just throwing money away unless you use it in the immediate future.Otherwise, this is a mediocre fusion establishment that probably won't get our business again until they apologize and honor the gift certificates that we lost money on.If you have business in Pittsburgh, there are a couple of Japanese restaurants I know of where you can order things like karaage, katsudon, and even takoyaki. You can even practice your Japanese conversation skills with native speakers at some of them.

What a great experience for my nieces 21st birthday. They said they would take a large group without hesitation.

Sat at hibachi table for lunch. Everything is so clean and thought out. Pong was our hibachi chef and he was awesome! Hoping to catch him next time we're in Washington. Highly recommend. Big portions. Delicious food. Sake was tasty, too.

This is usually one of my favorite restaurants, but last time I ordered sushi, they forgot the masago which is the reason I ordered that roll. I called to let the manager know and instead of offering anything to fix the problem she said it was mixed in the sauce… masago are bright orange fish eggs that would be very visible if they are there at all lol. The food was good but the manager lying to me instead of taking responsibility left a bad impression.

I am confused by these reviews. The food was mediocre at best and lacking flavor. The service decent but the hibachi chef was annoyingly intrusive-- Way too many questions on his part. Prices were highish and not really worth returining. Try NAGOYA in Peters, better service, better lighting and better food.

Fusion Japanese Steakhouse is a regional chain restaurant. This particular location has hibachi tables, a dining area, and a sushi bar.During my husband’s and my visit, the seating hostess immediately greeted and seated us, the chefs quickly made our foods, and the waiter promptly and politely served us.We really enjoyed the flavors of our soups, salads, Alaska roll, pepper-tuna sushi, and hibachi filet mignon with vegetables. My husband commented that his hibachi filet mignon and shrimp contained too much oil and liquid but still tasted good.

Gummy chicken and a lackluster chef - The next time I'm looking for hibachi, it won't be here.

First time coming here & it was amazing! Our chef was very entertaining & interactive with us (group of 4). The food was delicious. We made reservations so it was perfect to just come in and get seated quickly. The guy who took our order was really nice & friendly, also. I will definitely come back!
