The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! The best meal we have had in quite a while! We will definitely be back!
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Washington. Some of their offerings are lack luster such as the fettuccine alfredo. Otherwise pizza, chicken, soups, etc are all amazing. Wait staff is always attentive and friendly. Waits can be a bit long but that comes with the territory of good food. Prices are a bit high as all Italian offerings usually are. The facilities are very cozy and has a nice theme.
Had a fun time with my sister and saw many friends on a busy Friday night. Place was jammed at the bar but we were able to get a booth and server was fast & friendly. I enjoyed the linguini with grilled banana peppers and Italian sausage and J got her usual big salad and small spaghetti with a meatball. Drinks we're good too! It's a classic Italian joint in an historic basement setting. Lunch is also nice... ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our group met here for a funeral luncheon. The food was delicious, and there were lots of it! The staff took very good care of us.
All I have to say is my wife found a worm in her food. My family of 4 was so sickly over this we couldn’t Finnish our meals. The manager tried to compensate by taking one meal off the bill. Only good thing to say is our Waitress was very compassionate to the situation. Won’t ever go back.
The food and Service was top notch! Selena and the manger were very personable and made sure we had a great dining experience. The fried Zucchini’s breading is like no other. The appetizer pepperoni rolls served freshly baked were a big hit. All of our dinner were very flavorful and large portions. Enough for leftovers. We will definitely dine here again.
Long time local restaurant. Ranges from pretty casual to some local professionals. On the basement level of the building so be aware. Nice casual homey feeling decor once inside.I have had a chicken sandwich there twice recently and it was in the top 5% of chicken sandwiches I have had out anywhere! Wedding soup was excellent also. Soup tasted great and had a nicely balanced flavor. Next time in I may choose try something new. We discussed options recommended to try with our server. She said there are certain items she only likes to eat there. It is about a half hour drive south from Pittsburgh. Worth the drive if you want something local, very good and different from the typical chain restaurants. I plan to visit again!
The place is understated from the outside- down some stairs under an awning. Inside was cozy with 90’s hits and a combination of booths and tables. From the website I was expecting a little more upscale feel, but this was comfortable with upscale food. I sat at the bar since I was traveling solo so I was able to observe. The place was super busy but everyone seemed to be working efficiently and taking care of their tables. The fried zucchini might be the best I’ve had and I definitely recommend getting both sauces- the house-made horseradish was delicious. I had a flying pink squirrel drink- pink, sweet and unique. The linguini arrabiata was good but there was more sausage than chicken and the chicken chunks were huge in it so I had to cut them apart to eat with the rest of the dish. Overall it was delicious with generous portions and great service.
It was decent. A little overpriced for what it is. She had lobster ravioli which was good. I had chicken pollo. There was a little bit too much sauce but it was good. House salads were just okay. Bread was a little bit dry. We both ordered a beer but we never received it. Waitress was very busy so we never asked her to bring it and we were not charged for it. I would go back to sit at the bar and see if that changes the experience.
Everything excellent except hostess who seemed unhappy about having to greet us. The Reuben was the best ever and the waitress was both friendly and helpful.
I've only eaten here a few times but every time it has been excellent. Varied menu and great service. Large portions. I love their cheese ravioli. Their steaks, salads, seafood are all delicious. The only problem I had was when I got the check and was told they don't take American Express. I was buying dinner for five people so luckily I had my debit card with me. Otherwise it's a great place for lunch or dinner.
Nice local eatery vast menu slanted toward Italian spaghetti and sausage was tasty and robust portionsZucchini appetizer a good choice
I always have a great time having dinner at The Union Grill. This time was different. The music was blaring. But we had the best server. The food was excellent & received a lot of food for your money. The chocolate cake was amazing.
The atmosphere is probably a 3 or 4 especially for Washington. The service was only fair. Again they try with the upset. Charge for dressing. Food was served cold as if it had set somewhere for a while. Drinks were not very good..
We ate here for the first time lastnight! Great service, great food and amazing Martinis. There was a short wait but it was not bad.
