Wow! Great experience even though it was packed for St. Patrick's day and also Rugby 6 Nations cup... I asked if if they'd have a table and hostess was very nice and told me.in the back which I didn't mind, I still could watch tournament from there. Then server was bo frills, to the point. Ge was fast and flawless. Had the egg and bacon burger, it was fantastic! Super flavorful!Place is comfortable, clean and great value.Street parking is mostly the option, but nice walk to restaurant.

I’m a pretty nice person, but I’ll say this after tonight, we need to take it back to the old days and keep the light linens separate from the dark. The dark linens are too problematic in this pub. Multiple bar fights were on the brink of starting due to it.

Came on Sunday for Restaurant Week. Tried the chicken curry….it was like a bowl of rice with broth and some uncooked veggies thrown on top (not mixed in)…..there were exactly TWO tiny chunks of chicken in the entire bowl.

The shepherd’s pie was a disappointingly small portion, filling only half of the regular size cast iron pan - for $18. This is an entirely reasonable price for the dish if it fills the pan, which it has at every other restaurant where I’ve ordered this specific meal. When I approached the manager to complain, he said “that’s just how it comes.” I reiterated that I refuse to pay the full price on being shortchanged, and then he offered to take 25% off. Our server was also not friendly. Not worth it.

Great looking place. The food was good and had one of the best old fashions I've had in a long while.

This place has gone down hill entirely. It's now basically just a gigantic (bad) dive barHave been a resident of West Chester since I was a kid. Moved to Pittsburgh and visit my family frequently. Go into town often as it's 5 minutes away from my folk's house.Stopped into Kildares December 26th while home. It's packed- mostly rowdy underage looking guys by the bar. Families sitting. Half the establishment doesn't have food in front of them.We get seated by the hostess in the way back corner of the place. It's just a party of 2. We sit for over 20 minutes- no menus, no glasses of water, no QR code on the table, nothing. A waiter strolls by us maybe 4 times. Doesn't even make eye contact. We got up and leftBeen going to this place for over a decade and now wouldn't ever return. Just get rid of the food and run a dive if you can't treat people with decency and operate an actual restaurant or "pub" with food.

Love Kildares but don’t understand how you have no bloody Mary mix and rashers on the Sunday before Christmas. Life is cruel.

We were in West Chester 11-18-23 for a fund raiser. We went to kildares for a cocktail, we sat at the bar with our drinks, then the staff came and took our chairs, they made us and everyone else get out of of our seats and took them. Ask why, the reply was. it's time for a younger crowd. I couldn't believe how we were treated as well as the other seniors that now, could not sit because our seats were taken. We will never return and we will spread our story to everyone and let them know what a dump this ism
