Truly the best bar in West Chester! They always have fun events going on like trivia, karaoke, or even bingo. Bartenders and servers are extremely kind and courteous to all of the customers (even when dealing with college kids every night). I was able to host a party on the patio with over 60 people and our bartender, Jess, did a phenomenal job! In addition, both Dave (bar manager) and Dane (owner) were both super helpful and kind when dealing with my requests. They let our family come by early to drop off party supplies and the cake with no questions asked! The food is delicious and they have the BEST ranch. I highly recommend Kildares for a night out, a yummy dinner, or your next party! Thanks for everything @ all the workers! You do so much.

Service was fast and pleasant. Sat on the patio and enjoyed one of the first warm days. Wings were good but a little overdone. Chicken tacos could have used a lighter breading. West Chester atmosphere is great with a lot of activity. Great experience overall.Food: 4/5

Went here with a few friends and the food was great. We all ordered different things, burger, cheese steak, salmon bowl... it all looked and tasted great and was reasonably priced. We were there on a Thursday night and it was fairly empty which was nice for us.Food: 5/5

Stopped by Kildares Irish Pub in West Chester for a drink. They have a lot of beer and drink choices to choose from. I had the Heineken and enjoyed the France and Morocco World Cup game! The TV's were loud but it was a good time by all. Parking is difficult to find here but there is a parking garage just a street away.

I've been a patron of Kildares for year. This past Sunday, we took my uncle, an English man who requires the use of a wheelchair. Not only was the food excellent (a welcome change for a man who lives in an assisted living facility), but the staff were unbelievably accommodating. They ensured that we had a good table in front of a television which continued to show the soccer match my uncle wanted to watch, even after the Eagles game started. The staff then politely asked if they could switch the sound to the Eagles, which I found very considerate. They continued to check in with us, and went well above the call of duty. I will continue to be a customer for life!Vegetarian options: Several great meatless items, a surprise for an Irish pub.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of low top tables available!

Excellent spot! We walked in during the WC Chili Fest and into a packed environment watching the Liverpool v Arsenal match...fantastic! Seeing people in jerseys supporting their club, doesn't matter if Soccer or Football...this is best spot in WC! Say hello to Tommy too!

I came in on a Sunday during west Chester's restaurant festival. The hostes and bartender was amazing. They both were very helpful because I had a 2 month old baby in a stroller. We requested to sit out back outside and the hostess and bartender made room for us. The bartender constantly asked if we needed anything and was so nice. I haven't had service like this in a long time. I should have got his1 name but he definitely gave us top notch service. I will be back just because of him!

I have been here for lunch, and it's actually quite good for food. However, I had an experience last night where I was dress coded at the door, for wearing sweat pants. If this was an established club, I might be understanding. However, this is an Irish pub college bar. The fact that they think their establishment is that high end to be bouncing paying customers at the door is kinda delusional. I also didn't look like a bum either haha. They were Lulu sweatpants paired with Jordan's. I will never be returning to this place day or night.

My partner and I came here for lunch. We had the mango wings, the Brie and apple toastie, and the fish and chips.The wings were nice and spicy but the mango flavor was so subtle I wasn't sure if it was there or if I was just expecting it due to the name. Regardless they still tasted good and were cooked to perfection. The toastie was perfection. It was served on nice thick slices of bread with a healthy serving of goat cheese and perfectly thin sliced apples. The fish and chips were good. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was definitely one of the best I've had in the US. The fries aren't my favorite style but they were still great. We also had a cider that went beautifully with everything. The price was reasonable for what we got. The service was good. We sat outside and the only negative to our whole experience was that the table was not stable and water ended up getting spilled.
This place was outstanding. The outside seating in downtown West Chester was very comfortable. The service was world class and the local beer was fantastic. I recommend the East Branch Kolsch. Burger was very tasty but a little underdone for my taste. Still ate it though. If you are in the area def stop by and visit, I know I will do it again!!!!

Kildare's looks great - old school Irish Pub, but everything about it beyond appearance was terrible. The "that's what we known for" BFG wings were DRY and had the nasty previously frozen signature black bones. The hummus was grainy and flavorless - worst hummus I've ever - ever had. The pork on the nachos was stringy and not tasty and the chips were quickly soggy. The beer was pretty good (clean pipes) and the service was ok - the bartender was at the end of her shift and really could have cared less about customer service, but our waiter had a tiny bit of hustle in him and got our orders right.
