Janice is a gem. A brilliant proprietor of the distillery along with her husband John. I'm from new york and had a bourbon tasting and and a vodka tasting. Fabulous. The gin is spot on. The pear is a masterpiece. There are so many pear vodkas that have natural flavors and this is not. It's made with real pears. The gem is the cherry. It was not available at the time i was there. It needs to be pre ordered. The orange, walnut bourbon i excellent. My favorite is the pecan of which 2 came home with me.
Overall, it's worth the travel to the distillery. It took us over an hour to get to there from where i was staying. The tzatziki platter was fabulous so many carrots and English cucumbers with warm toasted pita. The soups are authentic and home made by Janice, the owner.
I will reach out tomorrow to see if rhey can reserve a few bottles of the cherry.
This is a well made distillery, that is family owned and operated. A must see and worth the travel.

I went to Holy Ghost for my bachelor party and both John and Janice were amazing. One of my friends does not drink and they provided him with a mocktail for our Distillery Tour. We loved learning about the spirits and had a blast playing Jenga and Cornhole on site after the tour. 10/10

We went to the distillery as a Harvest Host overnight stay. The owners were great all the way around from checking in to having a fire at the end of the night. Loved talking with them both and hearing about the distillery and the classes and tours they offer. This is a must for anyone to go check out. Oh, and they are Dog friendly!!! The vodkas and bourbons were delicious! We will definitely be going back again.

We visited Holy Ghost for my bachelor party and had a great time! They are a small family run operation and they all seem to love what they do. They are extremely knowledgeable and will make sure you have a great time. I would highly recommend spending a weekend afternoon hanging out here!

We traveled from the Finger Lakes region to peruse some of the local fare in the Poconos, and we were somewhat disappointed in Holy Ghost Distillery. We overheard the young man at the door being somewhat curt to the group in front of ours, and when a lady asked a question regarding some of the spirits on display and he reprimanded her, saying "Yeah, I'm about to get to that!" which is bananas!! The general vibe was not for us, it seemed pretty unfriendly - we departed with out purchasing a flight or any spirits

Would give more stars if I could. I purchased the Bourbon & Chocolate class as a gift for my son and his fiancée and I was the DD. I didn’t stick around for the class but they had a really wonderful time - they said the staff really knows their stuff and they learned so much. They were amazed at the pairings - absolutely enjoyed the class. I spent some time in the venue and the employees were very nice and accommodating. Their products are all top notch and I really hope they are able to start selling some more fun things like their vermouth and bitters! We can’t wait to go back (I want to do the Cheese tasting class). It’s great to support local businesses but even better when their products are so amazing.Make a trip out - you won’t regret it!
