We had reservations for 7:00. We arrived 15 minutes early and we're promptly seated. Our waiter what charismatic and was very knowledgeable on the specials. My girlfriend has dietary restrictions and he did a fantastic job helping us navigate the courses to find one that wouldn't effect her allergies. At first it seems the place is a little small and crowded. However I was surprised at how intimate the tables were. Even though it was a little noisy in the background, you still feel like you can have a private conversation. The food was perfectly cooked. While I'm not one who normally takes a picture of their food I had to snap a picture because of how wonderfully they displayed the dish.
A Cena! Mi piace. a Cena Is truly a great restaurant. Fresh house made pastas daily, great bread, wonderful wines, and a friendly and attentive crew all rolled into a casual, non pretentious little restaurant. There is patio seating and they are able to accommodate large groups (with reservations, of course). It's romantic without being cheesy. Did I mention I love that staff?!
For a couple with small children, enjoying a date night at a nice restaurant takes lots of planning and is definitely a luxury. My husband and I may manage to make it happen two or three times a year, and most of our recent experiences have been disappointing for various reasons. Not so at a Cena. We had dinner there not long ago and had a wonderful time. The environment was romantic, the service was attentive, and we were even placed at a good table (which almost never happens for us). We had a beet appetizer, scallops, lamb, and dessert, all cooked to perfection. This will be our new go-to restaurant for special occasions.
Everything is made from scratch and I mean EVERYTHING! Their technique was perfect. The balance of flavors and textures was perfect. The homemade pastas....so delicate! Alex and the rest of the staff provided exceptional service. My only complaint is that we became full and couldn't eat anymore even though we wanted to. Can't wait to come back and try more. Try the agnolotti. You're welcome.
This place is a wonderful culinary experience. The food is always delicious, romantic atmosphere with friendly knowledgeable staff. I have come here multiple times over the past couple years, always tried a different dish and everything has been absolutely delicious. Definitely would recommend.

Food was fantastic and fast. Not a huge room, mostly communal seating but I actually like that, helps you connect to people you're eating with as well as other diners. The ordering method is new, as you are placing your order before you sit but it makes things faster and you can easily add things as needed. Well worth it, totally recommend it the food was fantastic.
The fresh pasta is amazing. I had the radiatore - delicious. My girlfriend had the pork belly mac and cheese. The pork belly is not crispy, so expect it to be sweet and chewy, and was a tad on the salty side. Also had the roasted cauliflower - average at best - and the garlic bread, which can never be bad.
This is beautiful pasta. It's great. The texture of each type of pasta I've had here has been perfect. But not every dish has been filling, and sometimes the flavor has been subtle. Also, the price sometimes seems slightly steep. The food's good, but I sometimes walk away wondering if it was worth it.
I love the pasta but the menu is pretty hard to decode. And when you ask for help it seems as if the cashier doesn't know the menu as well as they probably should. There has been more than one occasion when a friend or family member of mine has ordered something and got a dish they totally hated.
Trendy place for Italian eats. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Might be hard to find seating for large groups.

Absolutely lovely! Space inside is tiny so do make reservations. Staff is friendly and welcoming and know their stuff. Food is fresh, delicious and in some cases better than it sounds. A must try.
Delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere and an owner who knows how to make each and every guest feel welcome. Fillmore is a gem. We had an amazing experience here and look forward to our next experience!
Stopped in with no reservation on a Saturday evening. So fortunate that a reservation cancelled. The flavors are thoughtfully combined & bring nuances to life...never thought a green salad could be a big new experience. The filet bites melt. The tortellini wasperfectly cooked with each component's flavor & texture maximized. Yes, I'm gushing...it's worthy. The staff is thoughtful & attentive. If you are looking for very quiet intimate, this may not suit. We loved it.
My wife and I went here for our anniversary and couldn't have been more happy. This is a family run restaurant and everyone there is so friendly. Our waitress Kim was so amazing! Now onto the food. Everything we had was delicious. The gnocchi was unlike anything I have ever had before. They were like tiny fluffy pillows of flavor. The owner Jack recommended an amazing bottle of wine that was great and at a great price. In fact, all of he prices here were reasonable. This new restaurant is a refreshing addition in a city saturated with good food. We will definitely be going back!
This place is wonderful. Comfortable atmosphere, warm and inviting, great prices. Has the wine I enjoy and food that I am always looking forward to. The goat cheese, bombolittI sugo, and chocolate tart make one hell of a meal that I can eat over and over again. Highly recommend this place.

We had a big group (12 guys) here for dinner and I thought the service was excellent, the set menu was very good, and the overall decor and feel of the restaurant were very classy. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant as a place to have a nice meal (and spend a nice bit of money too) for a special occasion.
I go to Nostrana a lot for Happy Hour (after 9 pm) and get a $5 salad and a pizza. Great value. Their house wine is good as well as reasonably priced.
great food, knowledgeable staff, creative bartenders plenty of parking and nice seating options. Always a good choice!
We had a wonderful experience last night at Nostrana for our family reunion: everyone loved their choices, all the food came out together and was delicious! We had the same wait attendant as last time, and he was such fun and the service was great--we will definitely be back! Vernon. from Portland, OR.
Unbelievably delicious food! Our large party enjoyed four courses, family style. Every dish raised the bar for the next. And no dish disappointed. I highly recommend visiting for dinner.
