“Just had one of the best experiences of my life at Lilia. Do yourself a favor and do NOT miss the tasting menu, which rotates weekly. It was an incredible value, and more importantly there was not one single disappointing dish in the 8-course lineup. Some stand outs were the amberjack crudo in aguachile: the fish was incredible and cut so pretty, and the aguachile was just the brightest and tastiest i’ve ever had. The quesadilla with huitlacoche, sprouting broccoli and marinated radish: never having tried huitlacoche I was shocked at how decadent and rich it tasted… every flavor in the dish worked like magic with the others. The pork collar: as soon as I touched a piece of the pork collar confit it fell apart under my fork, cooked to perfection. Like the carnitas of your dreams. And the chocolate & salted hazelnut tart with kumquats: probably the most interesting combinations of flavors and textures in any dessert I’ve tried… the kind of experience that’s just delightful every time you take another bite. Every dish was just a surprising explosion of flavors and beauty. This is exciting food. Absolutely no letdowns with the service (every staff member was enthusiastic and knowledgeable) and the ambience as well, but the food is truly mind-blowing.Vegetarian options: Every ingredient is treated like the star in these dishes, which means the vegetarian dishes were a burst of flavor, spice and texture. I had the roasted fennel with fennel harissa and the white asparagus with salsa pipián, pickled rhubarb and morel mushrooms and both were just excellent.”
“Innovative French cuisine in the style of Le Pigeon.Le Pigeon presents adventurous French-inspired cuisine, characterized by its unique creativity and originality. Enjoy a diverse selection of wines in the intimate setting of its East Burnside Street location in Portland.Their Chef's Tasting Menu promises a complete journey with nine courses, starting from amuse-bouche to petits fours. The dishes are visually appealing, almost like paintings on plates!I was impressed by the friendly and excellent full service, as well as the quality and flavors of the dishes.”
“Han Oak comes with high praise and I had really high expectations about dinner.Banchan - the OTA beancurd dish was great, simply because the beancurd was just outstanding. Tastes like a creamy soy burrata - just makes me wanna go to OTA tomorrow! Appreciate that they did a simple chilli-vinegar dressing on it. Just let the star ingredient shine! The kimchi was a little underwhelming. Not much balance of heat, salt and acid… just alot of acid. I wonder if it would fare better with longer fermentation. The corned beef soo yuk is awesome - I can see the chef’s brilliance here. Great interpretation of a traditional dish. The thinly sliced fatty beef goes great with sliced veg. Great texture and flavour. The yuzu packs a punch and makes the corned beef work so well here… while not overwhelming the broth, which is just awesome - save it so you can have it with the rice later. This dish is 5star!Perhaps the gimbap is just not a dish that allows the chef to show his/her finesse and skill. Beef and pork were cooked and seasoned nicely tho the rest of the ingredients basically needed no cooking - a basic pickle, saute or served fresh.Personally, I feel a gimbap tastes way better in a roll cos the mouthfeel of a well packed roll - when you bite into the various flavours and the texture/ crunch just bursts in your mouth - is simply lost when deconstructed.Bingsu - it’s pretty standard fare tho here’s a suggestion… this would be way better if the pineapple and mango toppings were on top - as they usually are. Not hidden at the bottom.I thk it was gojucharu sprinkled on top - that does nothing for bingsu on its own. Well… maybe if there was more condensed milk, that could work. But chilli powder on ice? Hmm.Tho when you dig down to the fruity flavours at the bottom, then you can tell why the combi works. A clever twist on mango with spice but lost in the order of presentation.Tip - dig in quickly without toppling the bingu mountain! Small tweak that would hugely improve the experience.Maybe the chef was trying to turn the bingsu on its head creatively.. but I thk the usual way fares better.Good service with chirpy staff. May come back when they have a different menu and would recommend you to consider that.”

Urdaneta
“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!”
“My husband and I visited this past weekend and everything was amazing. The food was great, the bartender Jesse (hope I spelled that correctly lol) was BEYOND great, and the atmosphere was very calming and inviting. I can’t wait to visit again.”

“Incredible dinner! Definitely a top five dining experience in Portland. Everything was delicious from the martinis, salads and main dishes. Highly recommend the beet and grapefruit salad, octopus, and steak.”
“I enjoyed the two egg and kielbasa combo, with a Mexican hot chocolate. It was all delicious, and they were willing to let me substitute breads with a fruit salad, which I greatly appreciated! It’s a cozy place, and can get a bit loud when crowded, but otherwise, a lovely place for a late morning breakfast.”
“Come here for the happy hour and stay for all the foods on the menu. Smoked mussel dish was to die for, Oysters are naturally delicious but the sauces here are amazing especially that green fish sauce, I’d bottle that and sell that immediately! Server was amazing and wish I knew their name so I can shout them out. I didn’t order it but $90 for a tasting per person is just too inexpensive for that quality and amazingly tasty dishes. Just want another shout out for the mussel dish on there March 18th menu. Dish will always be in my mind.”

“It was truly an amazing experience. Everything was delicious. The staff was awesome. Everyone was friendly. Every dish was better than the last. The twice cooked pork, amazing. The PLAINTAIN BRIOCHE BUNS, delicious and full of flavor. Wish we'd had two servings. The peanut, creamed greens are full of subtle flavor that builds and builds. The smoked ribs ranked among the best grilled beef I've ever had. The BLANCMANGE, with coconut custard, might be the best thing we had. It's a rare experience where we talked about what we want to try next time as we were driving home. Both of us are looking forward to going back again! Oh, and their drinks are amazing as well. Their Hearthfire was filled with flavor and heat! Delicious!”

“Delicious food every time we dine in, and fresh margaritas too. Supporting a queer-owned vegan business makes every bite and sip that much better. I would highly recommend their torta with any of their "meat". Music is a little loud, and it's a small environment. Besides that, the vibes are impeccable. We try to make it in every weekend.”
“One of favorite breweries. A hidden jewel of the Portland beer scene. High quality beer in a wide variety of traditional styles and some innovations. Chill and friendly vibe. Dog friendly. Worth going off the beaten path to have a pint or two.”

“Incredible dinner! Definitely a top five dining experience in Portland. Everything was delicious from the martinis, salads and main dishes. Highly recommend the beet and grapefruit salad, octopus, and steak.”
“The best pizza I’ve had, and I eat pizza a lot. We had the pepperoni and the garlic arugula pizza and my friend and I kept just saying how good it was. It’s the kind of pizza you feel like you should keep talking about but you come up short everytime you try.”
“Definitely a must try at least once! The ice cream flavors change often, but there are always the consistent flavors that are there every time. It's worth going in and asking for a sample of as many kinds as you want to try until you find your favorite (they use actual silverware for the samples).”
“Went for cocktails, which were lovely and not crazy expensive. Food, including oysters and a small plate of cheese ended up costing over 70 per couple averaging three drinks for two. Great environment. Nice staff. Just seemed pretty pricey for food. But, who am I kidding? I never go out anymore!”
“My son and daughter in law chose this venue for the reception following their wedding. We had a group of less than 20 people in the private dining room. Fantastic experience. Everyone at the restaurant was helpful on coordinating setup prior to the event. The appetizers, cocktails, entrees and desserts all received rave reviews from the wedding guests. Service was on point and we were extremely pleased with everything. Highly recommended for a small group gathering space (the private room is the perfect size for a group of 20). We will dine here again during our next trip to Portland.”
“My husband and I visited this past weekend and everything was amazing. The food was great, the bartender Jesse (hope I spelled that correctly lol) was BEYOND great, and the atmosphere was very calming and inviting. I can’t wait to visit again.”
“I have lived in Morocco and been traveling there since the 1970s. my lunch yesterday at Kasbah Moroccan Cafe was undoubtedly the best Moroccan food I have eaten in the US. The food was delicious and authentic. Portions were generous. While we had to eat outside due to Covid, we could see that the inside of the cafe was attractively done in Moroccan style. The owner was very friendly. My son-in-law is Moroccan and he loved the food as well. I unreservedly recommend this place and will make a point of eating there next time I visit Portland.”
“I saw the raving reviews so wanted to check this place out. The bahn mi is good bulgogi has good flavor. The meat is pretty chewy though, and I would say the combo definitely is not worth the extra 5 bucks. I'd stick to the sandwich. The service was pretty quick and the lady was very nice. It's a small hole in the wall location. I would however avoid this area after about 5/6pm. This area is home to many people whom reside outside lol. As someone who has been to almost every bahn mi place in Portland I will say comparing to best baguette, bahn mi fresh, and a few other bahn mi places i think killer bahn mi is the best! But it is quite spendy for a bahn mi. You pay for it in the amount of meat they give you but still. If you like this kind of bahn mi I'd recommend also checking out an xuyen bakery. It's this little bakery on like 51st and foster but they have some of the biggest bahn mis I've ever had for 1/2 the price.”
“I was SO excited to visit this place with my best friend who lives out of town. We finally made it there and it is even better than I imagined! It is whimsical and colorful and a pure delight to children and inner children alike! Delicious coffee and snacks and super chill staff (and great pricing to boot!) The scavenger hunt is such a fun idea and such a smart way to bring well-deserved attention to Mike's spectacular artwork! The quality and quantity of his art is incredibly impressive and a true labor of love. We even got to chat with the artist and he was so humble, so sweet and so friendly! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!”
“We always go to this Screen Door when we are in Portland. The staff are always a delight and this trip was no exception. Davi was charming and friendly and attentive, and all the staff were working hard (always so busy!) There was a teeny, tiny glitch with our order taking a while (we weren't concerned but the staff were so distraught that their efficient system had gone awry, lol!) We appreciated their gesture of discounting our ticket, but didn't think it was necessary. We were having such a good time with Davi and all the staff that the time passed quickly. The food was fantastic (always get the praline bacon!), the people watching superb, and the service stellar. We will be back again (and again and again!)”
“Service is always quick and kind. The food is excellent, fresh, unique, and caters to several different dietary restrictions. The location is convenient for workers at or near Montgomery Park, and the music is calming and chill. What an awesome spot!”

“I mean wow, so good. So incredibly good! I didn't realize that Plumb is the kitchen located inside of the bar (Deadshot). It was my first time experiencing something like this (maybe I need to get out more) and it was incredible. The food is made to order so patience is key but luckily theres an amazing bar with handcrafted cocktails to enjoy while you wait. We arrived right at 4pm on Saturday evening and were promptly greeted and seated. We opted for a seat right at the bar. I ordered a red wine and my husband ordered a Deadshot. Then we placed our food order. We ordered the cesar salad, grilled cabbage, burger and steak frites and everything was so incredibly good. Fresh, decadent, perfectly cooked and ever so tasty. Of the items we tried, the cabbage dish was our favorite. I've never had cabbage with bechamel, apples and hazelnuts. It was simply divine! Highly recommend checking this place out!”
“Highly recommended by locals and it didn’t disappoint. I enjoy sours and that’s what brought me here. The large selection of beers is fantastic! I enjoyed a flight of 5 different beers and the bartender gave me a taste of a seasonal one to boot. I was visiting from Alabama for the weekend and I am so glad I was directed to this brewery! The area had great shopping too. Cool local stores nearby.”
“A unique touch on Mexican which tasted fantastic. First time eating out dinner in Portland and no regrets. The service was amazing and the waiters knew the menu very well. Definitely a place worthy of booking! We ordered the full menu and every dish was very well plated. The chicken and the birria were the highlights for me but worthy of trying the entire menu!”
“Delicious food but they automatically tip themselves 20%. Just keep in mind when ordering that everything is actually 20% more expensive than what is stated on the menu.”
“I wanted to try a new place for date night and picked a good one. The food was excellent, the service was warm. I made a reservation for the purple room which has about 4 small tables. There is another room that has more tables and a bar. The restaurant is on the second floor of a converted house. I don't think they have an elevator, so you're aware. We got mostly what the waiter recommended. The chicken liver mousse tart was savory and delicate, crust being flaky and good contrast to the vinaigretted frissee. The grilled cauliflower still had crunch and umami. I picked the duck confit which had delicious crispy crust and a slight sweet, salty sauce. My husband had the pork coppa which is a braised pork shoulder over a sauce with delicious huge beans. I thought all the food was outstanding, the presentation was great and flavors well balanced. Ended the night with an almond flour orange cake, not too sweet. I might have skipped that one because the gelee was a little tart and cake a denser than expected. The waiter was great at helping us navigate the menu. I liked all the choices available and can't wait to try more of them. I don't think there is a wrong choice here. Their menu options rotate.”
“We ordered the fried chicken, summer salad, hummus with burnt beef tips and the corn ribs. Everything was unbelievably delicious. The summer salad in particular was refreshing and different. I can not recommend this place enough.”
“Delicious from start to finish and wonderful, welcoming service. Dungeness crab miso, chawanmushi, and scallops to start followed by amazingly flavorful nigiri and rolls.”
“G-Love was wonderful. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Everything we ordered off the menu exceeded expectations, our party of five left feeling full and happy. I cannot recommend them enough!”

“I keep coming back for the pork belly fried rice and the massaman curry. Really delicious food, great outdoor seating, and they changed their dessert options recently as well. The banana cake was great with the coconut ice cream. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.”
“We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and what a treat! Our server was phenomenal and helped us make great choices for amazing food + wine pairings. The chef also accommodated my food allergies with ease. Highly recommend! We plan to return very soon.”
“Delicious and beautiful food!!! I miss being able to eat at your restaurant because the atmosphere was always so relaxing and unique. Thanks for the amazing food and experience!”
“Fabulous drink selection. I was struggling because I wanted one of everything, and our server suggested letting the bartender create something based on the flavors I was looking for. The result was an incredibly delicious passion fruit mezcal drink that rocked my world. They infuse some of their spirits too. One was vodka sesame, another with cardamom - super cool.Impressive tequila and mezcal selection, and still had room at the bar for a great bourbon selection too!The music was also great!Parking: Free depending upon time of dayKid-friendliness: Leave ‘em at homeWheelchair accessibility: Roll on in”
“Honestly as good as you are going to get. Everything is wonderful, baba ganoush best I've had in ages. Only criticism was the "filet" was a very chewy, but all other meats great.”
“I traveled to Portland for the first time and this is my best dining experience in Portland (besides Salt & Straw ice cream)! We arrived 10 minutes before our initial reservation and had to wait 11 minutes for our table (which was fine). We asked for the menu twice but it took them ages to give us one so we just asked Google. Their menu on the website is not updated and some photos in Google Business are more accurate. The heated 'patio' was nice and warm (it is actually built indoors/in a closed environment). The set up is bright and it was bustling with people. Service was slow and it took the staff a while to take our order. We ordered the Causa de Camarones (shrimp and potato) for the starter and the Ceviche de Pescado and Seco de Cordero (lamb) for entrees. I loved everything we ate (even though the lamb was a bit heavy with beans and rice - double carbs). The waitress was friendly. To elevate the service, I suggest that the restaurant train their staff on menu pairing suggestions and dish recommendations. For example, the waitress informed us that the lamb dish would taste pretty cilantro-y (it wasn't so). She could have given a 'disclaimer' or personal thoughts on how heavy our meal could be and suggested a lighter pairing (room for desserts!). A small note: When we left, everyone said thank you (except the waitress who took our order). Overall, it was a good experience and I definitely recommend this place / want to come back when I am back in Portland again!”
“Found this spot via Instagram and it lives up to the hype. Tons of unique rolls to choose from as well as plenty of non-sushi appetizers and entreés like Udon. The sashimi and tamari (nigiri) was very fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back to try the set courses. Sake list is small but there are options for everyone, ranging from dry to sweet, and they have a good selection of Japanese wiskeys. Our server, Becca, was kind and very helpful for our first time experience. (pictured) bluefin akami, bluefin otoro, and hamachi tamari, Blazer and Salmon Twist rolls.”

“The company I work for has a corporate account and we order sack lunches through Bunk Catering often. We've never had an issue. Always arrives on time and exactly what we ordered. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I would and do recommend using them for your office lunches. :)”
“I love this place. It's really low key, the food is always great. It's a good atmosphere, video poker until really late! They're open 24 hours which is really nice, breakfast all day :-) pretty low key :-)”
“Both Tik Toks hold a special place in my heart for different reason! This location cranks out food super quick any time you order! Love the staff all around!!Cassi was one of the best servers I've ever had! Keep it up!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“I got a chicken asado burrito with sour cream. I ordered it to go and it only took a few minutes to make. It was really good! It’s nice to have a late night food option other than Taco Bell and this burrito was actually good and tasted like real food.”
“My favorite snack from here are the "muffin tops", They have lemon or cranberry orange, which are both equally good. I usually get an Americano, which I pour into my coffee from home to warm it up. I've never been inside, only drive through.”
“They made my online order perfect, I didnt want to have to worry about breakfast or lunch due to a new course im having to take, and I'm really happy to have exactly what I need for that. Thanks guys ❤️”
“Disheartening to look outside and watch two folks smoking on their Crack pipe. Right out the window where I was sitting next to.But the manager took care of the situation quickly. He gets a 10!! Thank you sir.”
“My night shifts at Amazon mean eating out at odd hours. Thankfully, Jamie at Carl's Jr. on 8205 SE Rhine St, Portland, OR, has been a game-changer. She nails our orders every time, even with my wife's custom requests. Fast, friendly, and always spot-on, Jamie's service makes our unusual mealtime a highlight. Big thanks to Jamie for making late-night dining so much better.”
“Clean restrooms, easy parking and great service. Jay gives fantastic customer care! There was a tired and stressed TRIMET bus driver, who Jay made smile and turned around her day through a promotion he told her about, which was new to the driver. Most fast food is heartless, but Jay makes food feel like home for those of us always on the road for work.”
“Great cafe so a late breakfast. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was great and decent portions for the price. Make sure to grab a slice of pie on the way out!”
“I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. It had been a while since I had eaten at Denny's, and I had a preconceived notion of what I would experience since this was the same restaurant. I had a semi-bad idea of what I would see, Boy, was I surprised. It was a little bit of a wait when we walked in the door. 3 or 4 small groups ahead of us. But we were seated in under 5 minutes with menus and coffee. The waitress was friendly and VERY upbeat. Food arrived in just the right amount of time, and it was hot!I have to say, I really enjoyed my entire time spent there, AND our dogs got to enjoy a little bit of it also when we got home.Parking: It is a pretty large lot quth lots of parking, a few handicapped spots to choose from, also.”
“I'm having the most incredible meal for $10. So many toppings, delicious tortilla, shredded, not crumble beef and added peppers and onions for flavor as a complete bonus to the menu description which for Portland, come on it's rare to add anything more. I'm so happy hahaWith the Mexican salsa and shredded lettuce I feel like I have an entire side salad, props for my health ??So much food I couldn't finish it in one go.”
“Hard to find, but thank God, you can find it and delight yourself with Southwest flavor heavy burgersParking: Right at a busy corner but easy to access and easy to return to trafficWheelchair accessibility: Simple but spacious to get in and out.”
“The cuisine was succulent and fresh. The executive chef personally prepared my entree and his presentation was a masterful work of art. He had obviously trained at the finest culinary institutions in Europe. What caught me by surprise was the more than affordable price at this exquisite 5 michelin star establishment.”
“Our awesome tatted barista was the best part of going to Starbucks. She was fantastic. I don't understand how the supposed pinnacle of customizable coffee has ONE sugar free option. Dutch Bros will always be the clear winner.Dietary restrictions: If you're keto or diabetic, stick with Dutch Bros. Starbucks isn't it.”

“Just fantastic! For one reason or another we couldn't go there last time we were in Portland. But we made it happen this time and it was delicious, delightful and just all around great. I enjoy meals made up of many small plates for sharing and that's what we did. We threw some nice vodkas in the mix and were very happy with our experience. The service was very nice as well.”
“This neighborhood gem is always a pleasure to visit. The food was well prepared and delicious! There are plenty of options for vegetarians as well as omnivores. The portions are very generous. We love the ambiance and wonderful art. The servers are attentive, friendly and efficient. This is a favorite place to take friends and out of town guests.”
Takeout Restaurants
“First time eating Ethiopian food, trusted the waiter to choose our food and wine pairing and he hit it spot on! Everything was absolutely delicious. So fresh and spicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back often!”
“This place is so good!!! We got the chicken burrito and steak burrito. They were big enough to split between the 3 of us. The taste of them both were top notch. Seriously excellent taste. Fresh handmade tortillas??? Yo, you’re trippin if you think this place is mid. Will definitely be coming back to try the habanero sauce. Tried the red and green and was blown away with the flavor for both. Highly recommend!!!”
“This place is just fun. Even on a busy summer evening with lines out the door the staff proactively engage people still in line and expedite those who know what they want while the curious sample the offerings. Good selection of vegan options, and no skimping on the variety. Seasonal items are creative and fun!”
“The cutest subway station turned into a coffee spot! My friends and I ordered chai tea, spanish and tiramisu latte. The service took 30 minutes and the line wasn’t that long, but the lattes were absolutely worth it. Chai had the perfect amount of spice.”
“Delicious pizza with a wide selection of toppings. I'm a big guy and the pizza was almost two meals for me; definitely a great sharing size if you go with others.”
“The service was "chefs kiss"Food was good! There were things I enjoyed more than others but definitely a great experience. Would I go again? Maybe... but I would just border a few items and drinks not the full experience meal.”
“Literally PERFECT. One weekend I had it for dinner three days in a row and still wanted it again on the fourth day.Sometimes if we aren’t hungry we’ll just come in for drinks to go! So much wonderful flavor and so refreshing. Love everything about Norah!!Dietary restrictions: All vegan!!”
“Incredible. I’ve never felt such a profound emotional reaction to something as simply advertised as pizza. It was an out of body experience and I’m assuming it’s this way because it’s somebody’s life work. It’s the only explanation I have. If that’s the case then it’s somehow elaborately deceptive in its facade of simple ingredients because it’s completely engineered to make you feel something so profound it catches you off guard in a world full of distractions.”
“The food was excellent :)It just became our favorite place on campus!+) My husband had Tomyum salmon, and I had Aburi salmon donKid-friendliness: They didn't have a highchair”
“Incredible!!! I got the birria tacos and they were just fantastic. Piping hot, great mix of textures and flavors, and a great portion size. Thank you! Can't wait to eat here again!Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian options and many of them are vegan, or can be made vegan!”
“We ordered fried chicken sandwich with Cajun Mac & cheese and fried popcorn chicken with fried cauliflower bites and portobello mushrooms. Last the friend apple pie. Everything was DELICIOUS!!!!! Definitely returning again”
“Highly recommend this place! Burger was AMAZING & I try MANY different PDX burgers! Curly fries were spot on! And then topped off with malted shakes... yum! We will def be back... often! Oh, the people we really friendly and helpful too, but food was so good I'd go back even if there were jerks... haha”
“Came on a Saturday to have brunch with a couple friends. They weren't busy when we arrived (11a.m.), but packed by the time we were leaving.I had the Eggs Benedict. It was delicious, but the braised pork was over seasoned to me, still edible and tasty if you add a bite to the delicious little roasted potatoes. We all shared a side of Yuca fries, and pecan crusted/candied bacon. Both delicious, and the sauce provided for the fries was amazing. The service was also fantastic! Our server was very friendly and attentive.I would reccomend checking this place out. I will be back.”
“I love this cafe! They do good work. Good pastries and drinks, kind customer service. However, they allow people to bring their dogs inside. I really wish they'd only allow service animals like most food establishments.”
“El servicio excelente y la comida súper sabrosa y hecha con mucho cariño. Hoy probé Causa Acevichada, Lomo Saltado, Tallarines Verdes, Tacu-Tacu, Antichos y Picarones. Todo súper recomendado!!! Definitivamente vamos a regresar por más!”
“My husband and I went to Grana for an impromptu date night and overall had a good experience. We started with the chicory Caesar and the dressing was extremely tasty and very light (in a good way) compared to most Caesars. The pizza was delicious, we got the blanco and the margherita. We both liked the blanco best but agreed the margherita was necessary too to add a fresh balance. The crust was absolutely delicious and the ingredients were very high quality and fresh. We also loved cutting the pizza with the shears, so fun! I'd recommend they look at expanding their wines by the glass menu a little bit, given the prices and high quality of the other food it would have been nice to have an option other than "house red" or "house white." My only real bit of constructive criticism is about the service. There were two servers, the guy was super nice but the girl wasn't overly friendly and hovered at our table after we got a box, waiting for us to leave so she could bus it. We were also seated at table 12 which is literally behind the host stand, I would highly recommend not seating people at that table unless you have a packed house because not only was it cramped, it was really awkward having to be eye level with the host's butt during the meal. There were a ton of empty tables throughout the restaurant so I regret not asking to be seated elsewhere, but I didn't want to seem high maintenance.”
“Best sushi in Portland hands down. Fish quality and selection is always 10/10. Chefs are the real deal and are so fun to watch (highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar).Dietary restrictions: They always ask you as soon as you walk in whether you have any restrictions.”
“G-Love was wonderful. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Everything we ordered off the menu exceeded expectations, our party of five left feeling full and happy. I cannot recommend them enough!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“If you are looking for excellent food and outstanding service, Mother’s is the place to go. I was visiting Portland this weekend and enjoyed the breakfast on Saturday so much that we went back before my flight home today (Sunday). Yesterday, Nick managed tricky orders with our larger group really well and was super friendly. Today, Emily went out of her way to provide excellent service and spread sunshine and kindness. On the food front, the French toast coated in corn flakes was delicious, and the cooks did a great job making crispy bacon that was not burnt. The friend I was visiting loved the tofu dish he had yesterday and also really enjoyed his oatmeal and bananas today. Our other friends were also very happy with their dishes yesterday….The place has a great vibe. I look forward to heading to Mother’s again on my next trip to Portland!”
“I got the Quesabirria tacos and consommé, it was amazing!! So much flavor loaded into each taco, perfectly cooked. Highly highly recommend if you’re looking for birria!!”
“Super yummy drinks with lots of dairy free options. Staff are always friendly. If the dining room is open it’s a cozy place to hang out, and nice to have the drive thru option as well. A gem in the neighborhood!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options for boba drinks”
“Haley was an absolute pleasure to order from. Great customer service and made us feel not only welcome but carried on a great conversation during the process. Outstanding drinks we received and service. Nice lil set up and we enjoyed the covered deck while waiting and conversing. Highly recommend Slowbomb Coffee!”
“Excellent customer service!!! Large selection of beverages, breakfast sandwiches and muffins. Very efficient baristas taking excellent care of drive through customers. Need a burger fix? Hit the Spot food cart is in the same parking lot!!!!”
“I love this place! It’s fast and convenient. You pay the same amount you would at a Starbucks/ popular chain but get wayy better quality and inventive foods/ drinks. Plus you’re supporting local! The owner is also very sweet. 100% recommend.”
“I tried the taco plate and got half chicken half steak. They were good but I wasn't impressed with them especially from what the reviews raved about. However I did find the steak to be more flavorful than the chicken. The pineapple and hibiscus drinks were good. Service was pick-up and clean-up for yourself.... had I known that I would not have given a tip.”
“Finally stopped in here and I was not disappointed! They have a plant based protein shake that they added peanut butter and banana to and it was so good ? really friendly barista too. I’m glad they open so early in the morning because I have a feeling this will be my new coffee stop on my way to work!”
“Best Mexican food in the area, fresh food, made quickly with care. Can't tell you how much we love Saul and his cart, they never disappoint, always tasty and generous portions at a very reasonable price. Hope they never leave, we're there at least once a week. We wish them the best with the upgraded new truck, and eating area, more great food!!”
“This place is great! The coffee was a bit less than hot, but the barista, Emma made up for it as she was super sweet and extra hot! Will be back again next time for sure.”
“Everyone was talking about Franks-A-Lot and I was skeptical because I’m not a big hotdog person but after trying one I’m hooked it was the absolute best I’ve ever had and a super friendly person took my order I would definitely recommend them for a great experience!!!!!”
“This is a Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza store. In case you have never experienced a Papa Murphy's before, I will explain. There is no inside dining, the reason is that Papa Murphy's sells uncooked pizza. Some very good uncooked pizzas. My favorite is the chicken garlic pizza.”
“Denise and Elizabeth have amazing customer care. They were dealing with a processing server error (that had been occurring all day) and they explained exactly what was happening and handled us and the line exceptionally. For something that was completely out of their control, in a busy airport location, they handled themselves great!”
“Going to be coming here every time we are in or passing through Portland. The food is some of the best we have had, the atmosphere is so welcoming and comforting. Absolutely love this place! Sammy is such a great host!”
“Amazing coffee even better service. I've been going for about a month or so. I'm super happy to have found a local coffee stand. Kind of has the cheers vibe for me now lol”

Fine Dining
“Lovely venue, amazing food. Every single bite was unique. I typically approach food as fuel, but the same ingredients prepared by masterful hands and palates on a warm Portland evening are downright ethereal. Unparalleled. Go for the fixed course meal and wine pairings, and let them make the decisions. Dealbreaker: The focaccia and butter plate is like none I’ve experienced before. Best plate ever. Seriously. If you haven’t had butter or cheese with honey and fennel, it’s a must.”
“The food was so amazing! Creative dishes using fresh local Spring delights. My friend and I tried four different dishes and all were unparalleled. The wine selections were equally as wonderful. The service was also just perfect! Attentive and not intrusive. It was not inexpensive though!”
“Hands down the best dinner experience I had on my trip to Portland - and I went to Han Oak be Laangbaan so really the bar was high! Intimate but approachable setting, great service, and quality fish. Our chef was thoughtful and informative without being too overbearing, and we were able to have a nice family meal while learning about the ingredients and engaging with the experience. Would recommend and will be back! Not cheap but worth the price point.”
“What an amazing night we had! We were celebrating our 26th Wedding Anniversary and everyone of the staff went out of their way to make sure it was the best night possible for us and all wishing us a Happy 26th Anniversay. The food was excellent, the care of professionalism was the best bar none. We will be back! Our gratitude to Mark our waiter and the entire staff, please don't forget to thank them all for us, even our car attendant was kind and courteous.I can't say Thank you to each and everyone for such a delightful night and a memory we will hold in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. And also to the gracious lady at the next table who paid for part of our dinner. We feel truly blessed.”
“Easter fell on my birthday this year and like every year, I have my Center Cut NY with a beautiful Cabernet from a Grand Wine list, Cocktail list is not to be missed, and dessert, a big slice of Cheesecake..Forgetaboutit! excellence is the bar they set, Everytime! cheers”
“There’s something really special about a place where you can sit, enjoy a meal, and sense that everyone from back of the house all the way to the front of house, has chosen to be there. Passion and intention seeps from this restaurant. What more can you ask for?Portland is lucky. Decent Italian food, outside the home, is hard to find in our city.My advice to anyone reading this review:Just go. Take an evening and just go. Try the olives and have a glass of grappa.Thank you and see you soon.”
“5 stars all around! The amount of love, identity, thought and detail that go into curating the dining experience that is Langbaan, is a unique and very special gastronomic adventure. From the Kanin Krak (scallop), Tom Prape (salmon), Gang Pai (brisket in cha om leaf curry) to the Rice Khao Lam (sticky rice pudding + fixins), your tastebuds are in for a treat that takes dining to an entire new level, another world and culture of flavor! Plus, they really care about the visuals - they made beets look like blood! March was the month highlighting Isaan, the chef’s hometown in Northern Thailand, we really get a taste of his childhood, very nostalgic.I look forward to the month where the menu is unapologetically Thai! I’m talking bile, blood, tripe, and all of the authenticity that makes Thai cuisine so bold and flavorful. I appreciate how thoughtful the chefs are when designing the menu. I encourage customers to be open to the Thai food scene, in all its forms!! I have no doubt that Langbaan will always put heart and soul into their menu. Thank you to the entire staff for their hospitality and for an exceptional dining experience for my birthday and anniversary!”
“Best Mexican restaurant ever.this place was more than I possibly imagined.this place is the pinnacle of culinary creation.love and passion served on a plate.as a sous chef this place motivated and inspired me,food can be so much more than just something you eat.its and experience,an adventure”
“This is the new go-to lunch and dinner spot for all Portland adventurers.Amazing meal! You can taste the high quality of the ingredients and the love put into the food. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is perfect for anything from first dates, to family dinners, to business lunches. I cannot wait to come back. Perfect 10’s!P.S best wine selection in Portland!”
“Excellent, excellent service and lovely wine pairing with good food in a quaint and intimate atmosphere. The food was delicious but didn't leave a lasting impression. Was it bad food no not at all, but was anything special about the food...not really. It was all a little bland all in all. I would come back, but would I ever crave to do so,no.”
“Fresh, delicious and tasty soul food! All fried food is made once ordered. The greens had meaty flavorful ham hock and the Mac and cheese was tasty and delicious. We will be back!”
“Amazing food! We did the 7 course option and it turned out wonderful. The staff is sooo super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Portland. Also holds a special place in my heart since we got engaged there. :)”
“My good friend Renee and I had an enchanted evening at Domaine Serene where we had the pleasure of trying their ambitious new menu which is now available to the public. The new menu has been crafted in collaboration with iconic, local Executive Chef George Morris, of Bos Taurus and Nomé notoriety, and features creative wine-inspired cuisine with a French bistro flair, and notable Pacific Northwest ingredients. We had been eagerly anticipating the new menu launch event, and it was a memorable and magical experience with every course. Our multi-course dinner was exceptional, and the world class wine pairings were curated with thoughtfulness. Some of our favorite dishes included: Amuse-Bouche // Shigoku Oysters on The Half Shell w/ Blood Orange ‘R’ Rosé Granita, & Yuzu Kosho. Beef Short Rib Bourguignon // Creamy Polenta, Root Vegetables, w/ a Red Wine Jus. For me, the culinary star of the show, and probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had: The Steamed Foie Gras Wontons A rich, delectable creation framed with a Smoke-Forward Shoyu, and Aromatic; Miyagi Chili Oil, Hints of Mint From the Shiso, and the citrus notes from the lime accentuated the strengths of the dish with a delicate balance. With their exciting new menu, and added team members, now is a great time to go experience the serendipity of Domaine Serene for yourself.”
“Totally caught me surprise, amazing authentic tacos, the Pastor has actual flavor and they balance very well. Quick service, bilingual staff that treat everyone the same. Highly recommend.”
“Had an absolutely amazing experience. Cody was our server and was very professional. All the staff was extremely friendly and we definitely felt very welcome there. Food was top notch and great ”

“The service was "chefs kiss"Food was good! There were things I enjoyed more than others but definitely a great experience. Would I go again? Maybe... but I would just border a few items and drinks not the full experience meal.”
“The food was so amazing! Creative dishes using fresh local Spring delights. My friend and I tried four different dishes and all were unparalleled. The wine selections were equally as wonderful. The service was also just perfect! Attentive and not intrusive. It was not inexpensive though!”
Cheap Eats
“The food was amazing. The restrooms where very dirty. Please keep your restrooms clean for customers. Also while servingbe more attentive to your customers. Please show that you appreciate the customers that support you,Not just your friends and family.”
“Citrus pork taco rib eye taco fish taco holy moly jess jess jesssssssss. Taquitos are of course jammin as well as everything else on the menu but them 3 are the best tacos I ever had in the general Portland ”
“The eating area is shared by other food carts, so it can get a bit tight if you decide to eat there when it's busy. But if you're looking for a big delicious and affordable burrito that's gonna fill you up, this is the place to go.”
“I stopped in late because my wife was craving Korean food. What a gem of a place this is. The owner took my order and was super kind. We had the Salmon and the chicken. Both totally over delivered. Salmon perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. The Kimchi was spot on. Many more meals we will be having. Totally worth driving down from our place in Arbor Lodge. Makes the neighborhood better. Super clean. Sorry no photos as we ate everything too fast.Dietary restrictions: They are all Gluten free. We are not but have friends who are.Kid-friendliness: They were welcoming my four year old being four. So appreciated”
“his is the best Thai food in Portland. Short rib and payaya salad combo is literally the best/tastiest deal in town. So many delicious daily specials alongside my standard pad thai order, it doesn't get better than Zaap. Service is amazing and the owner greets you each time you eat. Best customer service in town-Paul is my guy! This is my wife's favorite meal!”
“First time here. Everything was delicious! But especially the downtown shrimp and grits. I can't wait to come back and try the uptown version. Our server was wonderful and the entire experience was *chef's kiss *! We live an hour and a half away, but I will make the special trip to come back. What a gem!”
“Best sour beer, hands down. Happy hours Wednesday and Thursday all day and Friday to Sunday 4-6 pm. The end.Parking: Mon-Fri 8 AM TO 6 PM PAY TO PARK. Otherwise free street parking.”
“I’ve worked here for a couple months now and it really feels like family. My coworkers always let me know of my mistakes right after or before my shift is over. Working shifts with Kate has been really exciting as I’ve just gotten to learn more about her and she lets me know what I can do better on. I never realized just how many people can’t have dairy and gluten. The people that come in that realize they can try all the flavors and that they’re all vegan they are extremely happy. It’s been really fun working here and my favorite part is making the waffle cones!!”
“while menu is limited, the selections are delicious and satisfying! Sisters is a favorite for flavorful vegetarian choices that don't make us miss meat protein!”
“I recommend this restaurant, I'm coming from Seattle WA with my family and we went to eat there, very good food, good customer service, everything clean. I invite you to visit them, you will love it.”
“Can’t say enough about this place. Being an ex NY guy and Italian.. this is the real deal. So happy this popped up in my neighborhood. Can’t wait to get back on Tuesday to try their Marinara !”
“Shhhh. It's a secret. Too good to share, keep it to yourselves. Don't tell anyone about how incredible the food is or that they mixed drinks are creative and delicious. This is just between you and me. Wink.”
“Local roaster and coffee shop with multiple options for single-origin coffee. I had a cup of their daily drip offering, which was a Kenyan with pleasant acidity and fruity overtones. Nutty Bars, Star Crunch, and other classic snacks available in lieu of the standard pastries. ??”
“Incredible Guyanese food omg! So so delectable. Bibi is kind and sweet and gave us the cutest samples to try! The salfish bake was amazing! The daal tasted like home to us! We’re from South Asian and tasting the flavors of home was nostalgic! Can’t wait to be back so many times here! Thank you!!! ??”

Phuket Cafe
“I keep coming back for the pork belly fried rice and the massaman curry. Really delicious food, great outdoor seating, and they changed their dessert options recently as well. The banana cake was great with the coconut ice cream. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.”
“Delicious and beautiful food!!! I miss being able to eat at your restaurant because the atmosphere was always so relaxing and unique. Thanks for the amazing food and experience!”

Old Pal
“Went for cocktails, which were lovely and not crazy expensive. Food, including oysters and a small plate of cheese ended up costing over 70 per couple averaging three drinks for two. Great environment. Nice staff. Just seemed pretty pricey for food. But, who am I kidding? I never go out anymore!”
31
Gumba
“Delicious! A unique and expert take on classic Italian dishes. Friendly and accommodating staff, there wasn’t a drink on the menu for the specific feel I was looking for and they happily whipped up a beverage for me ?”
32
Scotch Lodge
“The cocktails are amazing and the atmosphere is out of this world. The service is wonderful and I love the speakeasy feel. Totally feels like a lounge or a club with great lighting and wonderful decor. Definitely something to check out.”

GNARLYS
“What a gem! We don't eat vegan exclusively but have egg and dairy allergies so getting burgers with cheese and ranch and shakes was awesome! The buddy stix (mozzarella) were not bad but the Paddy's Melt and Newport Nightmare were both great and the Smashed to pieces shake was so good we came back another time just for more shakes! This place is located inside Swan Dive and did not have a sign outside (as they moved recently to the kitchen inside).”

L’ Orange

Noodle Point
“This is one of only a few places that serve Laksa, which is what I was looking for. It was very good, and very filling. When asked, they told me they serve Laksa because the owner was from Singapore. As others have noted, the staff is very nice.”
“Holy moly this was some of the best food I have ever eaten. In my life. The burnt ends curry, fried chicken, and ceviche were unforgettable. Drinks were amazing. Service was top notch. Dying to go back!”
“Loved everything about this restaurant! All the dishes we tried were delicious, the service was excellent, and the vibe was so good! We cannot wait to come back to try more dishes!”
“Fantastic! I want to give myself 5 stars for finding this place :-)Food is top notch, wine selection and recommendations are top notch, the passion that goes into service is top notch, …We had a memorable dining experience here. Thank you!”
“This is a gem of a place. You will absolutely not expect it when you look at the outside. It is fantastic, very peaceful, and with great food and service. Will absolutely return.”
“First time eating Ethiopian food, trusted the waiter to choose our food and wine pairing and he hit it spot on! Everything was absolutely delicious. So fresh and spicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back often!”
42
Siam Umami
“Amazing everything: drinks, appetizers, main courses, and service. The meats in the mains were cooked very moist and tender. The accompanying sauces are very Southeast Asian. Our server took the time to explain a bit about the kind of royal Thai cuisine and inspirations for their menu items.”
43
Tartuca
“Had a great meal here on Friday night, including some of the best gluten free pasta we've ever had. Service was lovely, very professional and we were treated well. Was a nice evening out. We did make a reservation, which was ready and waiting for us. I would recommend reserving a table before hand as it gets quite busy. Can't wait to go back!”
“OMG, this place was amazing. We went at lunchtime on Presidents Day, so I thought it was a little odd that the lunch specials were not available. That was okay, because the food was so fantastic. Wife had the basil chicken which was one of the best Chinese dishes ever. I had the Lamb with Green Onion, which was good, but I'd try something else next time. I rarely see Lamb on a Chinese menu, so I had to try it. We split some green the green tea. The service was fast and friendly, as were some patrons. A couple guys walked by and asked about the b=Basil Chicken, so we told them it was a must! Huge open space that is unexpected given the outside of the historic Louis Building, built in 1885. We are going back!!”
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.”
“Stunning and delicious modern twist on Korean flavors. Portions were enough for everyone to be satisfied without being overfull. Set menu priced for a splurge-y dinner. Cocktails were unique and fun. Soju had the cute little auto-pouring frog. Cool to see the meats being aged in the back fridges (during the walk to the back restrooms).”
47
Lechon
“This is always one of my favorite happy hours in the city. The Lechon margarita is one of my favorites and their happy hour food menu has a ton of options. I highly recommend their shrimp ceviche, their burger and their plantain fritters.”
“The food is always delicious here!I'm always happy when Nicholas is part of our planned activities for the day!Generally we are always satisfied with our service, waiting times and food however our last visit April 14, 2024 they had a giant party to serve upstairs and we were all but forgotten. Luckily we had delicious food to enjoy although only 1 of 3 drinks we ordered. And has anyone else noticed their portions perhaps dwindling? We had the kabob salads and 2 of us thought them smaller than before...”
“I come yearly for training and tend to find a new place to eat everyday. This place after one visit I knew would be in my future visits. I had based off of prior reviews as a deciding factor for chosing this place. This is my 3rd time coming to Portland and let me say, this is the only restaurant I have decided to visit twice as the food is really that good, especially if you are a seafood person. The ciopinno will not let you down.”
“Kee’s Loaded Kitchen gets it right! I am from the south and have been searching for southern style food that has not been adulterated with other styles. This some of the best fries catfish I have ever eaten. The greens are on point (which is a rare find). The remaining sides are exactly what I would find in the southeast and delicious! I will be back and I plan to share this with all of my local friends that are interested in southern food.”
“I went with my family during Happy Hour and the food was delicious. For starters we ordered some ricotta cheese crostinis that were delicious and a "small" salad which was more than enough for 3 people. The pizza was a delight but the best thing was to accompany it with a delicious sangria.I highly recommend this place.”
53
Shalom Y'all
“All I can say is omg, omg, omg so fabulous! The eggplant dip, the hummus the pita the shawarma, OMG. cannot go wrong with anything here and such an incredible team!”
54
Ramen Ryoma
“Seriously my favorite bowl of ramen in the city. Super spicy and delicious. The broth is tasty, full bodied and very satisfying, perfectly complimenting the soft, doughy noodles. Five stars.”
“The Hotate or Sea Scallop sushi with yuzu pepper marmalade was out this world good. We also ordered the Guac N' Roll & French Quarter Roll. Excellent flavors. We didn't even need soy sauce. The Guac N' Roll has a unique presentation and the roll was balance & on point. I will recommend Yoshi to anyone interested in sushi!”
56
Obon Shokudo
“I loved all the food we ordered and would go back again to try other menu items. Even the simple market salad was served ice cold with a great dressing. Tofu Katsu was crunchy and tasty, and the soup was excellent.”
“We ordered takeout and got two different pizzas to try. Both were amazing. I prefer pizza with red sauce but we didn't miss the sauce at all. The crust is just perfect with a nice crispy outer layer and just the right amount of chewiness that your jaw doesn't get tired. I could taste the mild tanginess of the sourdough that gave the pizza a unique flavor that you don't get from regular dough. They weren't skimpy with their delicious, quality toppings either. I hope I can dine-in next time because these pizzas deserve immediate consumption.”
“MEC is always fabulous. It’s the kind of place you can count on having stellar food and excellent service every time. They really make outstanding vegetable dishes. This is one of the only places I don’t have room for meat when I want all of my favorites. The cauliflower dish and the charred carrots are crazy good!”
59
Churn Cafe
“This has been on my list to try for a long time and it did not disappoint! This has easily made my top 3 favorite brunch spots in Portland. When you enter, you can order on their screens to the right side of the cafe. They have both sweet and savory crepes, as well as coffee and other beverages. We got the okonomiyaki, breakfast, and matcha anko crepes. I also got the strawberry matcha latte and pandan latte. Everything was delicious. I was blown away by the matcha anko crepe, love the blend of matcha and red bean flavors - can't stop thinking about this crepe. The okonomiyaki was my second favorite and would get it again. I can pass on the breakfast crepe next time. The drinks were so delicious and I would definitely try the flight next time. Love the ambiance of this restaurant with the plant decor. The servers were so friendly and kind! I can't wait to come back again!”
60
Lilla
“First I want to say that the Alfredo pizza was the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. The food here is 10/10 with some of the best vegan food in all of Portland. However, the service was horrible, we had to work to get our waiters attention to get more water and asked for our bill twice before receiving it. With a no tipping policy in place I feel there was no incentive to provide good service.”
61
DAME
“Food was outstanding! We had the carpaccio and crudo to start, carpaccio was the show stopper. Trout and pork for mains, both cooked excellently, and then had the sorbetto and pana Cotta for dessert. The quality of ingredients and flavor/texture combinations were amazing! The service was so-so, told them it was a special occasion in advance but no acknowledgement of that. The server also gave us some awkward guidance when selecting wine, and wasn't super warm or friendly. Tables were pretty close to each other, it felt like we were spilling off a little with two entrees and drinks.Dietary restrictions: Amazing selection of gluten free appetizers and entrees!!”
“It's a nice little bar with a good DJ on the weekend. The bartender who served my drinks was top-notch! He did an excellent job for my negroni. It is worth it to try if you come to visit downtown ”
“The service and food are excellent. I always have a hard time deciding what to get. They have a huge assortment of pastries and baked goods up front to take to go.”
“Comfort food at its finest. Guys working there are super chill and set us up with all their sauces. We took some time deciding what we wanted because all of it sounded so good. My brother got the trifecta combo and my husband and I each got the chicken sandwich. My only complaint is that the sandwiches were a little hard to pick up and eat just because they were so loaded. Don't let the website pictures fool you - these portions are huge (and the prices very affordable). My husband and I could have easily split one sandwich but instead have leftovers for tomorrow. :) everything just pairs well together. The menu has been well thought-out and I think we need to come back to try more!”
“This was the single best dining experience I've EVER had. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and there was a personal touch that I've never experienced. The lamb was probably the best dish I've ever had, and the cocktails were stunning as well. This might be the best restaurant in Oregon, the creativity of the flavors is OFF THE CHARTS. 10/10.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free”
“Cozy, intimate atmosphere. Great for a date or outing with a friend or two. Extensive wine list, both for glasses and bottles. Our server Pierre was incredibly knowledgeable and made our visit a fun experience.”
“Awesome place to visit. The craft cocktails are so good and the food is delicious. They were able to accommodate a vegetarian option. The staff were attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the experience.”

“I used to live just outside of Venice and this is some of the most authentic Northern Italian food I've had in the states. We fell in love with the salt cod crostini (cicchetti al baccalà), radicchio salad with fresh oranges and black olives, supplì with a raddichio and gorgonzola filling, handmade pastas, buttermilk panna cotta, risotto tart, and the wine list (!) It's all perfect and the wait staff were attentive, super knowledgeable, and happy to share their love of authentic Italian food! We will be back many times.”
“Food, tasty. Beers, tasty. Sports on the TV, awesome. But what I really want to talk about is the bar stools. I have never in my life sat on a bar stool that fit my entire a$$. Thank you. I have never been so comfortable and felt so seen in an establishment. There's something truly next level about being able to sit in a seat that doesn't pinch or cut off circulation while you devour cauliflower in a lighter than air batter.”
“Great food, value, and service. One of the best prime rib lve had regionally. The bean and bacon soup tasted like someone's grandma cooked it in a big pot in the back.so good. The bread was hot and fresh. Again- it's so good.Haven't been since they closed in beaverton. That will have to change. They're still great after all these years!”

“Love the experience here! We came here about 9 months ago, and I was obsessed with the squash toast. They didn’t have that on the menu this time but the jalapeño popper burger was amazing!!!!!”
“The food was incredible and service to match with it. The interior decor is simple but beautiful. if you're looking for your next sushi place or wanting to check out a new place I highly recommend it.”

Kabob
“The food here is incredibly good. From the hummus an tzatziki, yellow rice, fire roasted vegetables, and lamb kabob, the flavors were amazing. I wanted just one kabob and the owner was kind enough to accommodate me. I will definitely be back.”

“Burgers were awesome. Prices were not bad. 8 or so beers on tap. Worth a visit for sure. Note there is a small parking area next to it if you luck out. It looks like a driveway”
“Easter fell on my birthday this year and like every year, I have my Center Cut NY with a beautiful Cabernet from a Grand Wine list, Cocktail list is not to be missed, and dessert, a big slice of Cheesecake..Forgetaboutit! excellence is the bar they set, Everytime! cheers”
“Toki has the most thoughtful brunch menu I’ve ever eaten. The service was casual and relaxed but impeccable, and even without a reservation my party of two was sat quickly and not rushed.”
“The lentil soup and sample platters are incredible. Ambiance is really nice. Waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Awesome food and setting! Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for vegan/gf.”

“We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and what a treat! Our server was phenomenal and helped us make great choices for amazing food + wine pairings. The chef also accommodated my food allergies with ease. Highly recommend! We plan to return very soon.”
“We made a reservation for our party of 4 for brunch and were seated on time. Our server was super friendly and nice. The restaurant was cute. But we would not return here. The breakfasts we ordered were all just ok. My sister had Migas Tart (vegetarian quiche) with potatoes as a side. I ordered random sides as there was no option for someone who is dairy free. My mom ordered mushroom and butternut scramble. The potatoes were over fried and my biscuit was over baked. Nothing special at all about any of the foods we ordered. We were excited to try it and were disappointed. Even if the ambience is good and the server was excellent, if the food isn’t good enough, we don’t return.”
“I absolutely love the decor of The Slide Inn, it really feels like I have stepped into an entire different country when i walk in. The food AND drinks are always a win, and they have great vegan and gluten free offerings, as well! The pita and hummus plate is the best I've ever had. ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free”
“So pleased to have found a new great local bar with pleasant bartenders, tasty cocktails, and numbly chow (mac & cheese w bacon, fried chix sammich, &c.)”
“I enjoyed the grilled vegetable platter. Also, the in-house baked, fresh piping hot out the oven pita bread was amazing with the hummus. Save room for dessert because tue baklava is amazing! Everything was so fresh! I can’t forget about the staff. He was attentive and pleasant. I look forward to visiting again soon.”

“Without a doubt one of the best sandwich joints in Portland. Absolutely everything made here is created with a passion for delicious food, and you can certainly tell when you taste it. From the smoked chicken wings, to the burgers, to the properly layered and piled high nachos, you will not be disappointed with anything you get on the menu. Pair anything with their extensive liquor selection and great tap list, along with amazing cocktails they make in house. I feel like when I’m inside, it’s like I’m back in my grandparents basement. It’s cozy and has a great feeling. Patio is great for the summertime. I can’t recommend this place enough.”

“The jojos I've been dreaming of! The fried chicken sandwich was also amazing, though i might do it without the slaw next time, just a personal thing. I'll be back! The fried chicken dinner sounded good and the desserts looked great!”
“We came here a couple hours before closing on 4/3 and sat in the back room. We had come in to celebrate my birthday after leaving a different restaurant that ended up being a nightmare. The Observatory saved the evening! The service and food were fantastic, and our server made excellent recommendations. We ordered the cheese platter to share, I got the strip steak and my fiance had the Mac and cheese with andouille. We are moving to the area soon, and we will definitely become regulars ?”
“Such a cool unique approach to a tea ceremony! There are some interesting teas to try and based on how you want to feel. The owner was very engaged and friendly. Definitely worth going to experience a relaxed tea ceremony!”

“Wonderful carefully curated food. Informed and interested servers. Lovely ambiance. Fresh and inventive menu. Had a special twist on a Boulevardier cocktail. I loved it.”
“This is our first time there. Super cute building -very cozy. Everyone that worked there was super kind. The food was delicious. We got the goat cheese and calamari- they were great starters. Then we got scallops and seafood fra diavolo. Absolutely delicious. Lastly, we got the kettle chip dulce de leche ice cream for dessert and that was really good too. If you like fresh brewed iced tea, their iced tea is really good too. We are definitely coming back. This is a great spot for a date night!”

“Craving something a little adventurous tonight, decided to see what the hype was about. Totally efficient ordering and pickup. Sooooo delicious - wish I had ordered MANY orders of the dumplings. Next time! Every bite a new taste sensation. This is why we ❤️ restaurants!”
“I had my doubts at first about the ricotta hotcakes with how many flavors they incorporate, but it BLEW MY MIND! definitely recommend this place just based on that alone, but all the other dishes were also stellar - we had the potato hash and the Just Beet It salad.Kid-friendliness: There’s a kids area with toys and books!”

“The bar is cute & the food was good. It came out, however, almost immediately- meaning it was all premade which felt a little fast-food. Prices are not fast food, however.”
“Sat at the bar Sunday evening and our bartender was fabulous. Loved her suggestions and was very personable. She recommended the pizza of the day and the Niçoise salad; both were delicious. Definitely will be back.”

Bamboo Sushi
“This place is literally everything. The best sushi in town, for sure. But more than that, every time we walk in, Alex makes us feel warm and welcome. We have had an amazing experience every time we walk in that door. We've always loved Bamboo, but since Alex joined the team at this location, it's like walking into a warm hug. The staff is attentive, smiling, and helpful. The food is OUTSTANDING. As a chef from NYC, it's the best sushi I've ever had outside of the city (and probably even better!) Alex goes above and beyond to make her guests and her staff feel comfortable and happy. Only 5 stars because I can't give it 6. Eat here or you will regret it.”

“I had the Black Cod curry which was very delicious. My husband had the Guai Thai (don't remember the name), it was also delicious, a good mix of veggies and chicken. Then for appetizers, we had the wings which was phenomenal. Not a lot of breading and I had the tamarind sauce on the side, worked perfect! The little Thai sausages complement the whole dinner. It was an awesome dinner! We'll definitely come back.Only complaint, not a whole lot of parking. You park on the street which can be a hassle.”

“Salvi was the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant since getting to Portland. Their pupusas are better than my Tios and everyone is so wonderfully warm and inviting. Be sure to come by on a Wednesday for $5 pints AND pupusas!!! I did the 3 pupusas for 13 so I could try 6 different ones with my partner and every single one was amazing.”
“This place is my absolute favorite food truck. The woman that runs it is so full of kindness. The food is delicous. If they sold the peanut sauce, id buy it by the gallon!”
“Great people serving AMAZING Mexican Food! We eat there atleast every week, and have tried a lot of food trucks and this one is one of our favs. See for yourself... worth a good try. Great job hugs! Enjoy”
“I absolutely love this small Mexican food chain, the great food at a good price and open very late. The only problem I had here was that it was fairly cold in the dining room and it was freezing outside. I had hoped to enjoy eating my dinner in peace and warmth here. Other than that, I love this place and wish there were more of them around Portland.”

“I have come here twice within half a year. Samara is such a great host and made my group’s night amazing both times. I recommend coming here for the food and great service.”
“I have read good and bad reviews and was leery of going to this restaurant. However, what a great experience!! The food was beyond great, it was fantastic. Service was exemplary. Sonia was our server and was wonderful. The minuses were the music was too loud and I didn't appreciate the servers cleaning the table while we still eating and talking but overall a very great experience. Costly but worth every cent.”
“The food was very well seasoned. I was truly surprised. Now, the portion size needs a lot of work for their prices. The dark atmosphere doesn't hit like that. Portland is a dreary, dark looking state. One would think the restaurant would want to be bright and lively. Other than that, everything was all good.”
“Food is always top notch! Service has gone downhill since Covid. Be careful, they charge auto gratuity regardless of party size and have increased it from 20% to 22% - recently.Either way, the food is worth it. Just don’t be surprised when the bill comes.”
“Returning home from a week camping in Sisters, OR. Decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner out. Salty's was just a couple miles from our RV park. They fit us in on a Saturday evening. Wonderful dinner, drinks, and the view is fantastic.”
“We popped in for a late lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was clean and our server was great! We had the seafood platter and a cup of chowder each as well as wine and beer. The chowder was hands down the most delicious I have had ever! It tasted as though it was freshly made to order. The platter was fresh tasting with big fat shrimp and fantastic oysters, we liked the apple mignonette best! We will defiantly be back!”
“I went there for a double-birthday celebration meal. The weather was nice and clear with very few clouds, which afforded a wonderful view of both Mount Hood and Mount St Helens, if you are sitting at the right table. Otherwise you would only be able to see the side of a mountain on the other side of the trees. We arrived too early for valet parking and parked ourselves, in a very narrow space, but I am told there is usually a valet parking. (I think we arrived shortly before 3:30 pm?) I believe there was 1 (unisex) bathroom upstairs and 2 (mens & womens) downstairs, both clean & stocked up. I didn't see an elevator so my thinking is that the downstairs area is not handicap accessible if you have problem with stairs or are in a wheelchair. We decided to start downstairs to peek at the happy hour menu and maybe munch off of it before we went upstairs to our reserved table, and although the bartender acknowledged us when we first got downstairs saying "go ahead and take a seat anywhere", we found a lovely table for 4 next to the window, but we sat there for 7 or 8(?) minutes (which feels like 20 minutes in ADHD time) without getting a menu or a glass of water or even eye contact from any wait staff. There were 4 tables which I believe was technically only 3 parties, and of the 3 parties downstairs we were 1 of the 2 that were getting ignored while all of the attention was being showered on the 2 tables next to us. We saw lots of wait staff moving around and punching things into computers and a lot of drinks and food being moved, but we couldn't make eye contact or get any acknowledgment so we got frustrated and decided to just go upstairs and have our meal and perhaps return back downstairs if happy hour was still going, after, so that we could peek at the menu and look at the options and pricing and hours (I'll post pic as of this date.)After we went upstairs I decided to eat a lovely mahi mahi fish meal special with a peanut sauce of some kind, which came with sticky rice in the shape of a pyramid. It did not look like sticky rice (longer, moist grain) but it tasted like it was seasoned to perfection. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal although I packed some away to finish at home so I could leave room for dessert and perhaps food downstairs afterwards. My date had a chopped salad without a protein added and he said it was good, but it looked kind of boring to me. Next time we go there, we'll ask for a table a little further to the south. The view of 2 mountains (the very reason I chose this restaurant) were hiding behind the trees while sitting at the third table from the left by the windows. I did not like the table placement, in regards to the view, but we had a fantastic waiter that was very patient with all our movements and questions a, and he was attentive, without hovering over us too much. My only problem with him is that he remembered it was my birthday but he kept forgetting it was the other person's birthday at the table also, but he did not speak up about his birthday himself. I did try to remind the waiter twice it was both of our birthdays, that we were celebrating, but that didn't really matter much, it was a minor thing, overall. We did end up going downstairs for happy hour afterward and ended up sitting at some tables over by the fireplace in the back of the room, and we enjoyed some coconut shrimp and some fish tacos, while finishing off the bottle of wine that we had from upstairs. The view was still pretty phenomenal even from the back of the room. I tried to take picture with my phone of the downstairs bar area but since it was so bright outside it's a little hard to see the inside, but it's the view I was trying to take a picture of. I will post those 2 photos. We did end up getting service within 5 minutes of sitting down once we went back downstairs. He was very friendly and made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything more, he brought us everything we needed, and provided service with a smile. It was a much better experience hea”
“A downtown Portland must. It really never fails. Phenomenal spanish coffee, happy hours, and service. Try any of their oysters or Cajun seafood pasta. It has wonderful flavor.”
“Had an absolutely amazing experience. Cody was our server and was very professional. All the staff was extremely friendly and we definitely felt very welcome there. Food was top notch and great ”
“My wife and I came here for date night before we Is to the Keller auditorium. The food was amazing and I would order it 10 times over again. Is our waiter was beyond amazing. I had the blackened cod And my wife had Is Pacific oysters pasta.”
“We enjoyed our family dinner. Good food and we were very happy six people could sit at a round table. The plants surrounding the table gave a feeling of privacy in an otherwise open space. My only negative comment is that I felt the wine bottle pricing was on the high side.”
“Overall the food was very good; there were a few croutons in the lobster bisque that tasted stale though; the flavors of the dinner were great overall, but it appeared that the sauces were not well distributed through the Chile Bass Oscar and the associated vegetables; some of the potato puree seemed bland and other parts were flavorful, and the same with the sea bass, as if they were labeled on at the last min instead of cooked in certain sauces; normally I wouldn't mind, but for a $205 dinner i would expect more. As always the raw oysters and bag of chocolate and fruit with custard were superlative;”
“We love Melting Pot and visit them a couple times per year. Our dinner tonight with no exception and was very tasty. My only complaint is that service was a bit slow.”
“Went here for wife’s 32nd bday with our 6.5 month old baby. The staff there were amazing. The 3 course menu with drink pairing was wonderful. Jason and Petra made the experience wonderful. When Petra introduced herself to our daughter she was upset that her new friend had to leave and go back to work. Petra was awesome and asked if she was able to give our daughter a dessert treat and our daughter loved the treat.Dietary restrictions: I have to be gluten free and they made sure all my items were gluten free.”

“Amazing food made better by the service. Soups options rotate daily, so check before you go if you are wanting something specific. Otherwise, you won’t be disappointed by any of the options.”
“What a fun dinner! Staff is so friendly, food options are unique and delicious. We loved ordering lots of the small snacks and desserts to share. Would definitely come back!”
“Eager to celebrate the Chinese New Year, my friend and I were craving Chinese food and decided to give Warsugai a try. I'm glad we did! The restaurant is lovely with mint tiles surrounding the bar, a waving kitty on the wall, and plants around the perimeter. The door was opened for us as we entered, and we were seated quickly. Since we wanted to be adventurous and try multiple items on the menu, my friend and I decided to order the Pu Pu Platter. Not really a platter though, our food came out individually and took up the majority of our table. Ours came with the Silken Ota Tofu, Noble House Pork Potstickers, Dungeness Crab Long Rangoon, BBQ Pork Coppa, Sizzling Black Pepper Beef Short Ribs, Taishan Cauliflower, and Warsugai. Everything was flavorful and delicious, so it was hard to pick favorite items. Although I'm not usually a fan of tofu, I enjoyed the differing textures of the soft tofu and crispy potato and scallions. The crab rangoon was amazing! No imitation crab here...Fresh crab rolled up in a spring roll fashion and served with a chili sauce. Yum! We also enjoyed the bbq pork coppa which came with a dollop of mustard which complimented the pork nicely. Finally, the Warsugai itself was delicious. Lightly fried chicken which was not overly heavy or greasy topped with almond gravy and almond slivers on a bed of shredded lettuce. So good! Your server will check you out at your table which is convenient, but also a little awkward since he or she will be in front of you when the machine prompts for a tip and a rating of your meal and service. This was not a deterrent since everything was wonderful. Hoping they will add a dessert item or two to the menu someday. We loved our experience at Warsugai and look forward to elevated Chinese food again soon!”
“The food is excellent and the staff is very nice! Also, they fulfill as ordered. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood! (PS - I want to add we've actually gotten food four times here so far, consistently a pleasure as stated, so not just a one-time thing!)”
“Such a cool spot! The vibes are fun and friendly. The sweetest staff with great recommendations. We drove from newberg for one drink and obviously stayed for more and ended up closing the place down. We will definitely be back. Thank you ladies for a great little night out.”
“We dined at Bellpine at it was spectacular. The only thing that surpassed the food in excellence was our server David. He was personable and made the experience so fun. We will be back. Thank you David for the stellar service!”
“Came here with a friend and really enjoyed our cocktails and were impressed by the interesting flavors and the atmosphere. (We didn’t order food.) A great first-date place for something a bit more intimate. This is the type of small business that Portland should embrace! Go! It’s well worth it.”
“Great to see Dub back! We had the chicken strips with Cole slaw, greens, and fries. Everything was as good as ever, and the new location is easier to get to, and has easy parking.”
“Crews are very kind and caring for customers. Owner lady is a very helpful and generous. Foods are good. We love sushi dishes. Dragon roll is a little bit spicy but so delicious and tasty. My kids love to eat ramen noodles, I ordered a General Tao Chicken and Lo mein noodles those were great and so yummy.!”
“Hands down best burritos in Portland. No contest. Grew up in the bay area, spent a lot of time in Arizona and Los Angeles. Love our city, but have been unable to find a burrito spot that holds a candle. Prices are totally on point with the quality product they deliver. Pumped to have found this place!!!”
“I ordered through the Subway app and picked up in store. I was greeted with a hello right as I entered! I turned out they were out of the footlong churros, but the man who helped me had no problem issuing a refund for it.These were probably the most picturesque sandwiches I've ever gotten from Subway! We will absolutely order from here again!”
Delicious!”
