An unexpected discovery but one that turned out to be a true gastronomic find, in this area well known for the high quality of Arouca veal. We arrived at the last minute for dinner on a Sunday night and after waiting 30 minutes. We had a table there. We pass by the grill loaded with different pieces of meat sprinkled with salt. Friendly, fast and efficient service. The grilled veal steak and the fillet on the skewer were deliciously disappearing due to their softness and extreme taste. For dessert there was an excellent chocolat mousse and a creamy passion fruit devinal. I strongly recommend this place to everyone ?

I ordered a dose of charcoal-roasted cod with roasted potatoes and the only thing that was used were the potatoes, the cod seemed rubbery and had no flavor at all, it tasted practically nothing like cod. First day of vacation in Arouca and a very bad experience, I hope to eat better on other days, but in other places of course. Tomorrow I will try the famous Arouquense steak but in another restaurant.
