The dish of the day menu barely has variety (Portuguese rice or rice with cod) and although it includes a drink and dessert, it DOES NOT INCLUDE a miserable beer (for which we were charged separately). The worst of all is when we order a dish off the menu (at the same price as the menu: €13.50) because we wanted to try the picanha, it has absolutely nothing to do with the photograph they have on display: 4 regrettable pieces of poor quality meat ... Anyway, A HUGE MISTAKE choosing to eat here with all the good food (and at a good price) that you can eat in Braga. Don't be fooled by its appearance of a cozy and familiar place...

Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this place. We ordered 2 executive menus, the starter was cod balls, some of which came hot on the outside and frozen on the inside, the second course, salmon, was correct, but the biggest problem we had was with dessert, because the waitress offered us 3 options , the 2 that the menu said plus another that told us that it was the typical dessert of Braga, but did not warn us that this was charged separately. Unfortunately we chose this last option, they charged us 11 euros for 2 desserts, apart from the menu, they did not offer us coffee or another option by not giving us the dessert that included the menu, in fact they charged us separately for the coffee, but the worst thing was at the time to pay, because when doing it with a foreign card, she asks whether to pay in local currency, which is the most convenient option, or in dollars, which is more expensive due to the exchange rate, and without asking me she chose to pay in dollars. I pointed out that she had chosen this without asking me, and she insisted she had not, even though she gave me a receipt that explicitly said she had chosen the dollar option.
In short, we do not recommend this place at all, because you will feel cheated. I only rescue the Argentine waitress who serves, and who is extremely friendly, and has to face up to the mistakes that the head waitress makes.

The fact is that I arrived saying that I had a reservation with the fork, I gave my name and they did not warn me that the reservation had not been accepted. We ordered considering the discount offer. The food, correct. I ate the braga cod much better the day before. The octopus salad, very normal. The meat, with a lot of fat and sinew... when paying, of course, they did not apply the discount. There I checked and realized that they had not accepted my reservation with an offer.
