A KNAIPA is a fantastic restaurant located just 8 meters from the accommodation, offering a wide menu of seafood dishes. Advised by the hosts, the guests enjoyed a delightful starter of Iberian ham, cheese, and olives, followed by well-balanced and flavorful main courses, such as prawns, cod fillets, octopus, and small squid. The pure flavor of the seafood stood out, complemented by vegetables and light aromatic herbs. Accompanied by a white Douro wine, the guests had an excellent meal.
The restaurant is described as a cozy and traditional setting, where the other diners were all Portuguese, which was seen as a good sign. Customers enjoyed dishes like polvo (octopus) and a tangy homemade lime tart, all for a very reasonable price. The friendly staff and the calm, sea-inspired decor add to the overall positive experience.
