At a family lunch, we had to wait an hour for our meals and the waiter was not very friendly. As for the food, very poor service. We ordered 4 doses of secret black belly pork, very dry meat, two of the doses had a fever and the other two had 2 fevers. I called the waiter's attention, his response was, "it was a mistake on the part of the kitchen", but they didn't do anything, after I said the same thing, the same waiter said "your dish is smaller and that's why there are 2 dishes", which has to be the case. platter size? A twelve with a fever for €14.50, I think it's very expensive. A dozen of octopus à lagareiro with migas, the octopus was barely visible, it was more migas and mashed potatoes for €17.00, very expensive. For all this, I do not recommend this restaurant. For me and my family, we won't go back. I have nothing positive to say. Very bad indeed.

Just outside Porto de Mós, and heading towards the caves of Santo António and dos Alvados, we found this small but beautiful corner. The restaurant has 2 well decorated and welcoming rooms. We were very well received and attended to by Mr. Luís and his daughter, who were super attentive. For starters we ordered delicious homemade bread, olives and chicken from Luís' cellar (fried chicken). As main dishes we ordered lamb chops and black pork secreto, both accompanied by rice, migas and homemade fries. The drinks were a glass of lemonade and half a liter of the producer's red wine (and what wine!). To finish, for dessert we had a slice of coconut pie and another of pear pie.Even before we left, Mr Luís gave us a taste of the homemade ginga.More than just a trip to a restaurant, we feel like we are at a family lunch.

I ordered lamb chops, which initially displeased me due to the lack of salt. Grilled meat, for me, cannot be tasteless, just like fish, but then I added a little salt and voila, delicious. The service is friendly and the desserts are delicious. I tried the fig tart, very good, the homemade pudding and a dessert with banana and boiled condensed milk... wow, they were good. Ahhh, and the wine! Very good.
