We arrived at 8 p.m. and were seated on the terrace downstairs. The restaurant is right next to the sea and the upper terrace surely offers a superb view. Below, there is the car passage but also the sea. The waiter was more than pleasant and had some knowledge of French. The map is also translated into French which helps a lot. We had the beef skewers and octopus. The plate of octopus was well garnished and the skewer had barely come off the heat. It was very good. There are plenty of side dishes on the side. One dish per person is more than enough. For parking, if you arrive by 7 p.m./8 p.m. each space that becomes available is taken so you have to have the right timing but it is totally doable.

Excellent experience at this Sao Vicente beachfront restaurant! Very efficient service, very good products, very good value for money. Clientele with a lot of local people, which is always a good sign. The rations are very generous, the octopus beautifully prepared. Don’t forget to order the delicious garlic bread typical of Madeira as an accompaniment.
