We had breakfast here yesterday.and after paying the bill, the elderly waitress came back and told us we had to leave a tip. She even checked our receipt and said, “For this amount, you must leave $7 tip.” Honestly, at such a well-known place, this behavior felt very rude and inappropriate. Tipping should always be optional and based on service, not something forced with a fixed amount. Unfortunately, since we were in a hurry, we paid, but I regret not speaking with the management about this.

Well, this was a throwback for me visiting for the first time in about 40 years and the Mish Mash was exactly the same. Omelette was good and coffee/cappuccino was also good. Got some T-shirts to bring the memories back to New York. Service top notch and of course a wait, but expect it. Moves fast.
