Best sandwiches and fast food in the area, great prices and everything they make is delicious. Super nice people - when they’re busy you get what you get for service but that’s understandable and worth it for what they offer.
The food they serve is great, I’ve been coming here for years. HOWEVER, last time I visited I saw the older bald guy with glasses at the service counter using the cash register and then turn around and touch a pizza with his bare hands without washing them first 🤮🤮. Um… BASIC FOOD HYGIENE rules don’t apply anymore?? Disgusting….
The last time I'd been to Old Country Bakery was about 35 years ago, when I walked there, hand-in-hand, with my nonna.
As a reminder/refresher, I bought a tomato pizza, coldcuts and most importantly, for me, the beautiful, moist, tasty buns which are found at the back of the store, down the same character steps as they were back when I last visited. IT WAS ALL SO GOOD!
