Laid back Japanese café with decent selection of onigiri and drinks! A perfect afternoon snack spot. Their matcha was really good and you can adjust the sweetness level to your liking. Friendly service :)

Best onigiri in the city! We started going here when it first opened and wound up going back at least twice a week since. Food, service, atmosphere, all stellar. Would recommend to anyone.

Such a lovely place. The matcha is really good, it actually tastes like matcha and not watered down milk like at so many other cafes. The onigiris are fresh and delicious. Excited to come here every time I’m in the area.

Absolutely delicious! Our favourite is the poulet frit. Staff are absolutely lovely. The cafe is calming and comforting. Such a beautiful corner of le Plateau.

Salmon onigiri was delicious. However, they didn’t have wasabi and didn’t offer soy sauce; we had to ask for it. The coffee was low quality, almost like water. The staff were very friendly. The place looks nice and authentic, but it was a scorching day close to 40°C, and there’s no AC inside, so it felt extremely hot.

Came in to try the syphon coffee, we were told that there wasnt any done and that we could wait, which we did but then the employee seemed to have found an old batch and served us lukewarm, barely tasting coffee. Not enjoyable and not worth it.

Driest onigiris I’ve ever had
I had read very good reviews about this restaurant specializing in onigiris, so it was without hesitation that I entered for lunch (or dinner as they say in Quebec). Everything looked very appetizing, but I opted for a formula 2 onigiris + 1 starter (with an extra drink). I can only recommend this establishment, quiet, with impeccable service, and especially excellent cuisine.
I ordered yuzu mentaiko onigiri, grilled salmon onigiri and ohitashi.
Onigirs were very delicious.

Casually walked in for an evening snack. Tried the grilled salmon and the tuna-mayo onigiri. Had a lovely experience.
Definitely gonna visit again and try the rest.
