Vintage Italian Cafe with excellent coffee and sandwichesEnjoyed a Mixed Cold Cut Sandwich on a Panini today which was excellent! My wife had the Capicolli and Mortadella Sandwich. Sandwiches come with marinated mushrooms, Provolone Cheese, Lettuce, and Tomato. Can also have hot peppers added if you like.Excellent Service.

Excellent service, very kind staff/owner who went above and beyond for us. Place is super clean while also being *so* nostalgic. It’s like someone’s nonna’s basement in the best way possible. The place was FULL of middle-aged Italians acting like they were in someone’s living room. Busy but not at all uncomfortable. 10/10 what a unique and authentic place

Amazing coffee and such friendly people !! Definitely bringing my whole family next time
We came up to Montreal for the weekend and this place was right next to the airbnb. You can tell it's a pillar of the neighborhood! The staff knew all the regulars and the vibe inside was great! Of the 4 days we were in the city, we went to the caffè for 3 of them! The coffee is delicious and the croissants are flakey!

A timeless Montreal classic. Excellent coffee. Excellent atmosphere, you have to come on the days when a soccer match is on, the atmosphere is joyful and good-natured. You can enjoy sandwiches there (you have to try the all-dressed paninis with spicy sauce).

Great place for late night coffee. We went for a regular Coffee, Doppio and a Canoli. Later on, we also ordered a Hot Chocolate. The beverages were great. Strongest Americano I've ever had - almost an Espresso. Doppio was great. Loved the Hot Chocolate. Canoli was okay.The ambiance is great. Many seating options depending on whether you're alone, with friends, with spouse/gf or a big family. The walls have Italy all over which gives you a great vibe.Only one gentleman handling the entire place, from making beverages to serving at the table. Nice chap.Parking can be a bit challenging as there's street parking which can be full. We had to make two rounds around the block before we could find something.Definitely recommended.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options in the menuParking: Street parking which can be difficult to find. We had to make two rounds around the block before we could find a spot.
