Don't expect too much but this place is perfect if you're starving but want something yummy though! Many options, fair price.

Location closed as of October 21, 2019. Had Mâche on my list of places to visit during Montreal but as of last night, the venue is no longer open. A box covers the menu outside of the location and I did not see any tables/chairs etc inside.

St. Catherine's is one of my favorite streets in Montreal during the daytime. I only say daytime because the area can be a little bit sketchy especially during night. To start off the location was pretty nice and I really recommend coming to MACHE! for a affordable meal. I got the pulled pork with sweet potato fries and I was really pleased because of the price and quality. There's a small area outside where you can sit and eat, but also seats indoors. I didn't get the poutine here because there are better places! I think if you're in the area its a pretty good spot to try out I really recommend it!

First night in Montreal with the family and we were looking for food in the v/o Notre Dame. Not a good idea. After almost 2 hours of walking around and everything was super pricey. Then via the Yelp app I found this place less then a 9 minute drive away. Sooo much better. The road it's on is full of restaurants. We chose this location due to the price, location, and overall reviews. It is a bit small but not tiny. Very clean. Waitress was extremely nice and the location wasn't over busy. The portions were a nice size and for 2 adults, 2 kids with tip came out to about 63 Canadian. Not bad at all. Try the poutine.
The place looks nice, but the food is disappointingly bland. And they charge you 1.50 for a little bit of mayonnaise to dip your fries in. The service was good and the low quality of the food was certainly not her fault.

There was only one person attending the whole restaurant in the middle of a street festival, but she never stopped smiling. She did the best she could but obviously service wasn't the best. Where were the owners!? Food was average

Great poutine and beer and very reasonable prices. We had the pulled pork poutine, would definitely recommend! Three stars for the long time it took awhile for the food to come out. We also got their version of Shepard's pie and Mac and cheese. These dishes were alright, but nothing compared to the poutine. They tasted less flavorful. The Mac and cheese tasted more like a casserole and was very thick.
