Must try when visiting Quebec City! One of the best meals. Everything was delicious. Bartender, Thomas, makes great drinks! I ordered the heirloom tomatoes - it’s so fresh and loved the yogurt accompanying it, the pork chop was perfect - juicy and tender and finally the ice cream sandwich dessert - must try for chocolate lovers. Service was a bit slow but after eating at few more places, I realized this is the pace here. Since I am here for vacation, the slower pace was fine and I enjoyed the meal very much. Staff were excellent!

How far would you drive for a date night with your husband? A question asked so many times. Wherever…… we drove 3 hours. If ever you’re in Quebec City, you must go to this amazing restaurant “ Le Clocher Penché” When I say everything was amazing , I mean everything. The service, the staff, the atmosphere and let me not forget about the food. Absolutely superb‼️?

By far the best restaurant I’ve tried in Québec. I ordered tomato (salad?) for appetizer. The cured duck meat in it was so tender that I can’t believe it’s duck breast. It tastes like premium Spanish ham! My main dish was pork chop. It was the best pork chop I’ve tried. The meat was juicy and tender. It was cooked with mussels so the pork has some seafood umami which really elevated its flavor. The veggies that come with the pork chop were also very creamy and flavorful. I like their Gin based cocktails as well.Apart from food, their staffs are very friendly. I was trying to practice my French with them and they were patient and supportive.Overall, a wonderful night at Le Clocer Penché. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was stellar from the friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff down to the hand-picked fiddleheads. The staff moved in harmony, with everyone working efficiently and filling in where needed. The leek cake was out of this world. This was our favorite dinner while in Quebec City.

I could drink that all the time! The fish was perfectly cooked and great balance of sweet and sour with the kimchiAnd to end the meal, we got the earl gray ice cream sandwich which was a great ending. Not overly sweet and came with some caramel nibs that we really enjoyedOverall, would recommend highly to anyone!

There are a lot of good restaurants in Quebec City and we took advantage on our short trip! But this one was our favorite -- all family members agreed.

It’s impossible to leave brunch and still be hungry! Such a great value for what’s included. Everything was delicious and service could not have been better. Would definitely come back!

We came for dinner here on our weekend in Quebec City. The atmosphere of the restaurant was open and bright. The menu is simple but covers all the bases, and I liked that the drink menu had a variety of wine and beer by the glass as well as cocktails and mocktails. The vegetable terrine was the best veggie dish I've had in Canada. Would definitely dine here again!

Nice ambiance! Tremendous service! Creative food in sort of New French style. I believe menu changes frequently conforming to availabilities.

Enjoyed every minute of our dinner in this corner restaurant. The bread with butter is a must! I personally like the veal tartare the most, though rest of the food was also amazing.

Perfect dining experience in Québec City. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Le Clocher Penché. Started with the veal tartar and guinea fowl cannelloni. The tartar was served with mixed greens and pickled fiddle heads. Cannelloni pasta was fresh and the blue cheese and mushroom sauce was thick and savory. Our mains were beef shoulder and halibut. Wow! Beef was really tender, medium rare; the morrel mushrooms were sautéed to perfection. The halibut was nice and flakey and the smoked eggplant brought the whole dish together; a serious dark horse ingredient. All I can say is this restaurant hit a home run in all aspects. The cocktails were excellent as well. Try the ginger sour! The service was exceptional and their timing / anticipation of our expectations was on point. We were always cared for. The chefs working in the kitchen was amazing to watch - their team work and coordination was on point. It's no wonder this restaurant has been open for 25 years. This is a must visit!

Omg! the food is amaaaazing! I came here last night- my last night in Quebec. I just checked the menu to correctly state the items I ordered, but it's different? So, clearly they update their menus frequently(?) so, in English- I had the cold lobster salad appetizer with asparagus, salad, and a yellow pepper 'sauce' and a sparkling white wine. Then, I ordered the halibut w veggies, tomatoes served in a shellfish broth. Yaaaaall. You really could just drink the broth. Divine. Then, for dessert--ordered the crème brûlée w mushroom essence? Listen! I hate mushrooms! And I only ordered this dessert b/c the waitress said it doesn't have the flesh of mushroom...and whatever variety this was- tastes like caramel and hazelnut. Sold on the hazelnut taste!! So good.. oh, and I ordered another white wine to go with the halibut.. total cost $109 CAD which is around $85 USD?? for an amazing meal and great service and atmosphere! Def will be back!
