The food was absolutely spectacular. I went with my family on a Thursday evening, and it was packed. Everything we ate from the antipasti to the dessert was just phenomenal. Pasta was all perfectly cooked. The carbonara was beautifully authentic, with a velvety egg sauce and crispy melt-in-your mouth guanciale. My mother’s mushroom pasta was exceptionally fragrant. Gusto has been a Godsend. It's our fave neighborhood spot for quick pizza pickups, nights out w friends and fam (it's where we always take our visiting guests), or even a quick stop for a coffee meeting or glass of wine (on the terrasse in the summer). Food was amazing! I was really blown away. The portion sizes were also fair. Alcoholic beverages were amazing too. I like that it’s a smaller restaurant as it provides a cozier atmosphere but music was a bit too loud. Prices were decent as well. I would say service could be a bit friendlier and more attentive; it wouldn’t hurt for the waiter to check in more often at the table (especially when it’s not that busy, like when we went).
