What a wonderful welcoming bistro pub. Walking along the cold winter sidewalk, NiKOSi draws you in with its warm ambiance and delivers top quality food and organic wines. The staff are very knowledgeable about their products, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and well designed. Highly recommended for people looking for a nice night over a meal and drink.

Flavour explosions! On the weekend when Alia n’ I dropped in for your french onion soup, mulled wine and maple jerk chicken wings—we were absolutely thrilled! Our desert? Oh my gosh, so good! Sincere thank you to the Nikosi team for the exceptional service. Cheers+

Nice place to enjoy a drink on the patio but the dishes were of poor grade, and pricy. I had the salad with a tasteless small portion of pulled duck ($26) and my husband was served nachos with tasteless meat and very poor grade cheese ($28). The salad dressing was good. We do not plan to return. It is not worth the money for a stop over on the way to the cottage.

Enjoyed the food. We ordered fish and chips but i found fish fillet was smaller in size compared to all the restaurants we have been. Also ordered chicken wings. They were okay. I found this restaurant little expensive aswell.

Service was wonderful, mocktail Sangria delicious, fries were wonderful. Unfortunately the hamburger was awful and the bacon that it came with was barely cooked.

Very friendly staff. You can tie your dog outside the patio and they give you the closest table possible to keep an eye on him. Great cocktails!

Great setting for cocktails by the river. Great patio. Pleasant, unpretentious atmosphere. Beer selection is a bit disappointing. Given the establishment, we would have expected a slightly more refined selection. Friendly and attentive wait staff.

I recently visited Nikosi Bistro Pub located in Wakefield and my experience was a complete letdown. While the menu offered a decent variety of dishes, we found the food to be extremely underwhelming especially for the cost. The ambiance is pleasant due to the location of the pub and the service was prompt. However, overall the food lacked quality and flavour, thus making it a disappointing dining experience.

Located in a picturesque small town with a stunning river view, this restaurant seems to have lost its charm. The prime location is undoubtedly a highlight, offering a delightful atmosphere for diners. However, the overall experience falls short of expectations. To start, the warm beer and lackluster other drink were disappointing. The absence of taste in the latter further dampened the dining experience. Although the food ordering process was swift, the actual delivery time was surprisingly slow, with a wait of over 45 minutes for two basic dishes.Regrettably, the food itself failed to impress. The salad was dry and bland, lacking any excitement in its flavors. The poutine, a once-favorite dish, was a complete letdown. Overcooked fries and a remarkably dry texture left a negative impression, making it hard to recall ever having such a tasteless poutine elsewhere in the past. It's evident that something has changed with this restaurant. Previously known for its taste and quality, it seems to have lost its way. The lack of redeeming qualities in both the food and service leaves much to be desired. Given the fantastic location, it's a shame that the overall experience doesn't live up to its potential. In conclusion, while the river view and location are undoubtedly appealing, the warm beer, tasteless drinks, slow service, and lackluster food make it difficult to recommend this restaurant. Hopefully, they can regain their former glory by addressing these issues and bringing back the taste and quality that once made them a favorite spot.

What a gem of a place! Great staff, food and ales in a beautiful setting.. and we were lucky enough to enjoy the talents of a pair of local musicians (on a Thursday evening). Thoroughly recommended! Even the benches are modeled on the nearby magnificent covered bridge...
