Be careful when ordering for a holiday. They just called and told me they don't have what I ordered an hour before I was supposed to pick it up. Not a well run business I guess.

My daughters love the cupcakes, cookies and cakes. Fresh and original ingredients transport you back your own childhood bakery mementos filled with friends and family around a dining room devoid of smartphone reviews. Is it easier to go Stop & Shop or Whole Foods, of course, but don't be a short sighted stunad. Do not trade convenience for the uniquely delicious DeLuise experience.

The staff was rude, I was going to ask about a cake testing for my wedding. Now I would not recommend them to anyone. I didn't even ask about a wedding cake. I did not like the eye rolls and rude behavior.

Attentive staff , very nice. Sweets are good but Italian rolls were doughy and not good at all. Prices on all reasonable and pies and pastries good.
Vanilla/Yellow cake with chocolate frosting for my sons 11th birthday ... was tremendous. Plus i was able to grab a lovely spinach pie when I picked up the cake, and everyone working the counter was just so friendly. Always a great local spot.

I am new to the area and was going to stop by, however after reading some of the reviews regarding small size pastries, high prices and rude staff, I now changed my mind. A bit farther but I will go to Antonio's in Warwick.

Deluise in Cranston is probably the best bakery for pastries in the state and beyond. We have been patronizing Deluise for over 40 years and one of the things we loved most was their danish, especially the size of their danish. We do not eat them every day but when we did, it was always a real treat. Not long ago, we noticed the size of their danish has shrunk considerably and we were so disappointed, especially since the price stayed the same. If they think their customers did not notice, believe me they do and it sort of changed the experience of eating a great danish. You can't eat two to make up for the smaller size because eating more than one is gluttonous. The original size was just right.....not too big or small. The new size is about a third smaller. We would have paid more for the original sized danish. Now, we find we do not want to make a trip to Deluise for what used to be something that was very special. The original sized danish in any flavor was perfection and they should not have messed with perfection.
