Sarah our waitress was attentive and friendly. Facility and view wonderful as always. Based on Long history, kitchen disappointed. Cheese tray was certainly not generous or exceptionally great for the price. Coating on the fish and chips was a bit 'thick' and underwhelming. Fish itself was fresh and good. Fries were cold. Monkfish was well prepared. Timing was off a bit .... coffees were finished before desserts arrived.
This is the first time we had been to Agassiz Supper Club. The experience exceeded all our expectations. Each course was delicious and more than enough food for two. The wine list was well-priced and paired well with the main course, paella. Everyone who served or dealt with us in any way was very courteous and made us feel special. We enjoyed the experience so much we are going back for Beef Wellington night!
I have dined at Castle Hill and always a wonderful experience. This time was one of their Supper Club dinners which is a three course menu consisting of two appetizers, seafood paella as the main course and flan as the dessert. All very good, and flavorful. One of the appetizers was a mashed potato with cod or bacala, so good. I recommend their supper clubs events.
