Without question, Anthony's should be everyone's first choice for the finest, and most authentic Italian cuisine! Each and every selection on their menu is a true winner! The ambiance exemplifies the ultimate, European experience and the pricing is extremely rational. Last but not least , the service provided by the staff is consistently SUPERB! You can't possible go wrong choosing this restaurant.

Really authentic Italian... great taste, big portions, just like Nonna's house! The server was fantastic, friendly, helpful, fast, attentive, with a great sense of humor and general demeanor. A real pleasure!

We were in town for the fishing show we wanted good Italian food and drove around federal hill we spotted your place and the Sicilian flag (I'm Sicilian) and said this must be a good place. the food was outstanding and so good we did the burrata which was amazing the chicken Francese was out of this worlds and my husbands baked stuffed Shrimp was also out of this world we ended the night with with a cannoli and tiramisu and both were fantastic. This will be our new go to spot when we are up in Rhode Island

The food was, as usual, wonderful. I had the Zappa di Pesci and it was great, lots of fish and just the right amount of linguini. I would say that the portions were ample, just right - not too small nor too large. Waitress was terrific, attentive and cheerful. This feels like the restaurants I used to go to on Court Street in Brooklyn growing up - a high compliment indeed.

I took my wife and her family to Anthony's for her birthday dinner. It is a small space but we had reservations and had no problems getting a table. It was busy the entire time we were there (Saturday night) but there was never more than a 5 minute wait for anyone. I assume everyone had reservations. They have a very small free parking lot but the number of spaces seems to match the capacity well and everyone was able to easily park. The quality of the food was excellent. Between us we had a veal dish, two chicken dishes, and three seafood dishes. All were clearly made with fresh ingredients and very well prepared. The wine was good and the prices were reasonable. Combine all that with the friendly and attentive service and I would highly recommend Anthony's.

OMG!! I am a visitor to Providence and was told that this is by far the best Intalian restauarnt in Providence. We went for a business dinner and was a worst decision of a lifetime. Lets start with the wine - ordered "Silver Oak" Cab as per the menu but was told that the year printed in the menu was wrong what they had is 2016 , anyway got that as the same price as "vintage" this wine was bad. Appetizers - Had 4 appetizers - Calamari & Smelt fish - it was sour like crazy and since it was breaded, fried and had the chef had put lime juice ( without thinking) it was soggy, the artichoke heart was a disaster - although this was reccomended my the server ( forgot to mention they one and only server fort the evening had no interest of serving or food or wine, she was there just for the heck of it) and the shrimp cocktail - there were 4 shrimps which looked and tasted very sad. The Main dishes - The veal dish was breaded fried and very badly presented, the fish was ok , the 2 pastas was so bad that we had to just leave it. The dessert Tiramisu, Creme brulee and another one - nothing to write home about it. There was just 1 lady (for the entire restaurant) who had no clue on food or wine, the ambience is below average, the bar menu is very selective besides things in the menu was not aavailable what we wanted. Wonder why someone would rate it 4+ - Folks - please be real and dont misguide visitors like me and others. I will not reccomend this place to anyone. Thank you for patiently reading my experience.

Food was alright. Friend and I got here at 6:30 and ordered two pasta dishes. It was 7:40 and we still didn't get our food. The table next to us was served first but came later. Our waitress only apologized once despite my having to flag her down. It was a Friday night, but the restaurant was barely half full. Wouldn't

I did not make a reservation for the bar area but ended up there as "it was the only table left." I asked whether any other party might be leaving soon and was met with a blank stare. I like a good time too but people dancing right next to my table is a bit much. Won't be back anytime soon.
