Best Caribbean food in Rhode Island! We have don't have many of those around here. I'm so sad the owner will be retiring soon!

RI Food Fight Wings Review:We were told it would take 35 minutes for the wings. We like fresh! Small inside, only 3 tables. We waited outside. But when we were inside I liked their reggae/Caribbean vibes. I may have danced a little... The wings- the restaurant alerted us for the Food Fight we could only choose crispy or lemon. We went crispy and it was cooked well(yay) but no flavor. Fell flat.

Order in advance (15-20 mins) if you want your food sooner otherwise, I jst went to the bar next door while my meal was being prepared. The service is great but this is a definitely a Haitian restaurant. We ordered oxtail, peppered shrimp & the red snapper meal they were all prepared Haitian style (which is ???) All meals come with rice and plantains but you have the option to substitute dishes. It took 20-30 mins for our order to be complete but the food & serviceVegetarian options: Legume & seasoned chickpeas. Get there early for vegetarian patties.Parking: Street and parking lot availableDietary restrictions: Vegan/vegetarian options are also available

Complete hole in the wall. Like breaking into a condemned house that is surrounded by a fence.... BUT this joint was finding a diamond in the rough.... Because the lemon chicken wings are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!The guy behind the counter took our order promptly. There is very little seating inside, so only bring another friend because they only have two seater tables. The take out is jamming, phone ringing none stop with people picking up their orders. Now back to the lemon chicken wings- I don't know how they do it but when you bite into those wings, it's basically a juicy lemony goodness on the inside. I don't know if they brine them for a period of time or inject them. They came out smoking hot, crispy on the outside, moist on the in and did not disappoint.

Food is amazing! Easily one of the most unique and best flavors in Providence. The meat falls off the bone, and the portions are great. Suited for smaller groups, but in the summer there's patio space. Highly recommend delivery or a bite at lunch, you will not regret it! Eve is super nice as well, say hello! If you arrive on a Sunday, there is a local farmer's market one street over, perfect lunch before heading to it.Parking: Lots of open parking, no issues with finding a spot.

Really good authentic Caribbean food. Music was nice and the day allowed for the patio seating. It was marvelous.

DELICIOUS I'm so happy I decided to try this place out. To preface, I've never had Haitian food before. But the j*** chicken is so good, the portions are big, and this is definitely one of my fav places for takeout.

Garden of Eve was a solid hidden gem. The service was swift. The options were plentiful. My partner is vegetarian - he got the curried chickpeas and he said it was "ok." He didn't particularly care for the sauce. However, the portion was really good! As for myself, I got the oxtails. The rice needs some type of gravy - otherwise it is just bland. I threw the oxtail juice on there and it was delicious! The oxtails themselves weren't as tender as I'd like, but they were edible and the sauce was delightful! The plantains? DIVINE. Cabbage? Great. We also ordered the dumplings - they were pretty good too.

I had the Caribbean short ribs with white rice and sweet plaintains. The food was really good. I only wish that I had a bigger portion of short ribs

This place is amazing and I'm coming back with my friends. Mac n cheese, passion fruit juice, sweet plantains, and accra were BOMB. Fried chicken was crispy and fresh. The spicy slaw was fire and so was the dipping broth. I'm so impressed. They even have tres leches which i'm about to buy right now. Overall 10/10 and would 100% come back.

We had the Oxtails, J*** Chicken, and a dumpling app. Sooo good. Everything was so good. The dumplings were medium for my but my brother thought they were super hot. So fluffy so good. It was more like a fried dough balls, just so you aren’t surprised. Oxtail was tender and just fell off the bone. The rice, veggies and fried plantains were are cooked so perfectly. Homey vibes, for me. I felt like I was sitting at a grandma’s house or something lol I recommend 100%. ? ? ?

I've been feeling for Haitian food, and this restaurant does not disappoint. I would highly recommend. I had the grio (fried pork), rice and peas, and plantain.

The food was so good!! Fried pork, fried goat, and stew chicken. My husband , daughter and I passed here on our way back home from a road trip to Boston. The Accra was so flavorful and crisp. Portions were generous , we had leftovers and left stuffed!! Whenever we are back in town would highly recommend coming back. Black owned and wonderful service! Job well done!
