Closed. :(Nano-roastery and inventive coffee bar with yummy snacks and lunch/brunch items, many made in house. Bags of the daily beans to buy for home. Mellow and fun vibe. The owner and his daughter deliver some of the warmest, most welcoming customer service! Indoor and a little outdoor seating. Main cafe is not wheelchair accessible as far as I know (have to step up) but I am sure one needing accommodation could easily get served in the outdoor area. Little tiny bathroom back by the kitchen. Lots of street parking. A true neighborhood treasure.

'd call this place a hidden gem, it's definitely a gem but it's not hidden. A good size menu with lots of different options. Im Portuguese so I'm a big fan of bolos so any place that offers them as an option will instantly win me over. For any one who isn't familiar, think of them as a sweet English muffin but bigger. It's a great contrast to a spicy or salty breakfast sandwich. If you like lots of iced coffee, get a large one here. It's is truly a LARGE. Great flavored iced coffee & cold brewed coffees.

This is a order to go type of place, there were two chairs to sit in outside, but the side walk is narrow. Breakfast sandwiches were delicious, but it seems like the menu may have downsized from the past. Sandwiches were served piping hot. I would recommend adding the hot sauce to your sandwiches for an extra kick.

Decent food (the spicy breakfast sandwich was yummy) and totally fine coffee. Also the prices are equally fair. What I didn't like, however, was the service. I went multiple times and the same grumpy young guy served me. He had absolutely zero customer service skills. One could even say zero people skills at all. Would rather walk much further to go to a cafe with equal food and drink but a much better overall experience.

It must have been a bad day as most reviews rave about Malachi's. There wasn't a greeting when we arrived, no music or ambiance, we awkwardly looked over the menu. Several items are crossed off. While waiting politely to be invited to order, we just stepped up and did so.Ordered a tea and asked for non-dairy. I was offered Soy and said yes. Later had seen a sign that they have Oat (my favorite) and having been offered options would have made my experience better. My drink tasted like sweet soy. Not tea. When my drink was finished they set it out of reach and didn't offer it to me, so I waited more.Partner ordered from the menu, and the front person called out back to ask if they had that. They didn't. It was a menu item, but no biggie. Partner orders a grilled cheese. I ordered a bagel with Lox. Front person had to call out back as to whether they had Lox that day. This made me uneasy as its seafood, but it happened to be delicious and totally fine.Partner and I waited on the food. Lox, bagel, Tomato cream cheese. Super basic, was fine. Bagel toasted and yummy. Tomatoes were just not quality. They were watery, you know the kind. I ended picking some out as they were so bleh they were white and mealy. I paid too much for a mealy, anemic tomatoe to ruin the Lox and tasty bagel. Maybe do Onion, or capers instead if your tomatoes aren't good right then. Now this is the cardinal sin I just couldn't get over. The food is prepared in front of you. The kitchen is open. Im no Gordon Ramsey. I'm FINE with a microwave in a restaurant kitchen. It has a useful and efficient function. But you don't microwave a ball of cheese to put in a sandwich. That was horrifying to watch, and we both had an instinct to run. The ball of now milk solids and separated fat would be removed, mixed by hand, and zapped some more. It was molded like clay on to a toasted bagel and served as a grilled cheese. Please don't name something a grilled cheese if you aren't going to grill the cheese. What the... it looked awful.Partner's pina colada smoothie was good.

This restaurant microwaves its eggs in plastic containers. So many of its items are unavailable when I went.

Malachi's is terrific! Their bagels are very fresh, and they have an extensive menu. I personally visit at least once every week. Friendly, courteous, and very reasonably priced.
Great little spot to grab some breakfast sammies. We also picked up some biscotti that were super soft and delicious. You're right, cherry and prune was the best! When we come back to visit again we'll be sure to grab some more!

Lots of options, for vegans and non-vegans! Aggressive prices. Lots of various caffeine options as well, including nitro. The smoothies are all fresh fruit, no HFCS at all. Highly recommend!

The $10 lox bagel barely has any lox on it and the lox was bad- how does this place have almost a 5 star rating? Ew.
