I have been here several times for brunch, and once more recently with a large group for lunch. I have always left very satisfied with my meal. I'm a big fan of the benedict here for the brunch side of things. My group came for a set menu lunch and I was very impressed with the quality and variety of food. I highly recommend this place for a date, small groups, or even a larger meeting.

I dined here for brunch this morning and I have to say it was great! From the bartender Bobby to I believe manager Alyssa they were all amazing if you ask me. Grapefruit mimosas were tasty, as well the brunch punch. The food was well seasoned which is key. Being a visitor here in providence and finding great food is major

Everything was amazing!! Service was fabulous. Yum, yum, yum. They do have gluten free bread options which is not clear from the menu.

Another triumph by Nick. I had the beef, it was prepared perfectly, and the creamed spinach was absolutely delicious. My wife had the rigatoni and it too was absolutely delicious. The lamb bolognese was to die for. Our server, Charlotte, was wonderful. The entire night was great. We will be back soon.

Nicks has awesome drinks and great locally sourced food. It is a nice place to hangout downtown, and is spacious and modern. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating!

Came here for brunch as it was only place that wasn't a over hour wait on a Sunday morning in Providence, RI... We sat down at the bar and the waiters/bartenders kept looking at us and going by us but look forever to acknowledge us or take an order... Menu was pretty basic American breakfast items nothing special yet everything was pretty expensive. I got a chicken biscuit sandwich with roasted potatoes the sandwich itself is about $10 dollars and you have to pay extra for any sides which the potatoes were $5 extra. I also ordered a mimosa of course which ran me about $10 dollars. Food took a very long time to come out and waiters forgot about us about 10 times during our stay at the restaurant.. forgot what we ordered, forgot to give us utensils, forgot to give us our food when we saw it sitting on the counter, forgot to give us our check we had to ask for it a number of times. So service was pretty poor and the food portions were pretty small a small chicken sandwich which just tasted "ok" and roasted potatoes that were a couple of potatoes lightly seasoned with salt and pepper.. very basic not very good. We left restaurant still very hungry and unsatisfied. Also another thing about the waiters/staff of this restaurant is everyone kept saying "hey friends" and referring customers as "friends" in literally every sentence that was said to the point of it being creepy and very annoying. ...I don't recommend this restaurant ..period there are plenty of other restaurants in Providence that have good food and service and are more worthwhile. Don't waste your time or money here.

The first time we came here for dinner was fantastic ... recently we came for brunch and I must say the service was really off. I think our server was technically Katie but she never came back to our table after bringing us water and taking drink orders (with no greeting and a pretty miserable vibe). we kept asking who our server was so we could order food, order more drinks, or correct what we got when it wasn't right. (3/4 orders were wrong or sides or drinks didn't come, then at the end the bill was wrong. ) Various people chipping in to serve but it just felt like we were a bother. The food was very good. This place could be so great! Also the music was far too loud. I would love to book an upcoming bday dinner here but don't want to risk the rude and absent service.

Visiting Providence and happened upon Nick's for breakfast on a Monday. We were blown away! I had the eggs benny with lovely micro greens on top and the silkiest hollandaise that I've ever experienced. Such a perfect dish. Others in my party had the pancakes, which were phenomenal - flavorful, thin, delicate. Potatoes were perfectly cooked and herby. And oh the smoked bacon! Also, service friendly and professional. We will be back!
A great spot for lunch, love the counter seating and bar option. Service is excellent, location is as well. Have been here many times since it’s opening and never a bad experience. Highly suggest Nicks if you are looking for a good spot downtown, great for quick lunch meeting as well. Hope Nicks does well and sticks around

Excellent dinner. The food was delicious (monk fish with lentils and lamb bolognese). Service was attentive and drinks were perfect (dirty martini and a Earl Grey tea-infused vodka drink with ginger called a Kindred Spirit). Loved the the inventive menu options. The space was great, with an exposed grill area and a big bar. Parking in a lot across the street, so even on Friday night we had a spot a few steps from the door. Highly recommend Nick's and we look forward to returning.

A much needed addition to downtown! The interior beautiful, the food and drinks are always delicious, and the service is great. Even if you just stop in for a snack from the cafe, this spot will not disappoint.

We absolutely loved this place! Bobby the bartender is phenomenal. What a wonderful personality is dedicated to making people feel welcome and cared for. Put us in a great mood! We had a fabulous brunch, not leaving a morsel uneaten. Fresh, local and seasonal and creative! A winner all around. The other staff were wonderful too, especially the hostess. Can't wait to go back

Incredible brunch. The food was delicious, artfully conceived, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend the French toast or the biscuits. Affordability of the food is offset by the price of the brunch cocktails. Some make sense, but price of a basic mimosa or bloody seems high. All in all, though, still highly recommend.
