the attitude was bad, the coffee wasn’t the best for the price point. the cups also were very bad and wouldn’t stop dripping.

I've been coming here for over ten years and I must say it's only gotten better and better. The pastries are always amazing but now the coffee and atmosphere really bring this artisanal bakery to the next level. Prices are very reasonable for the delicious quality.

Having grown up in Fox Point 71 years ago, this is my go to bakery when I visit from Florida. They have a few different items like cheeses and soup if you want. The bread is to die for ,along with the pastries and bisquits. I will always make my trip centered on going there as long as I am able. I hope to be there in the next 6 months. Delicious

The pastries are so fresh and consistent. This bakery opens at 5 am! Hard working Portuguese family. Thank you for serving Providence. We are blessed.

Wonderful bakery. I bring a box of Pasteis de Nata to gatherings and people are always really appreciative. And the woman who runs the place is from Vila Franca, a place with a history of making the best treats.

I've been eating the Portuguese Rolls from here since I was a child, and won't get them anywhere else. It's become tradition for my family to have them for every gathering.

My family has been coming here for years for their Portuguese sweet bread, and I've been dying to try it. Up until recently, I couldn't eat gluten. Now that I can, I had the pleasure of trying it for the first time! I loved it! It was delicious, and the texture was like challah, which is a bread that is traditionally eaten during the Jewish holidays, but it tasted sweeter. It's great as a sandwich and as a snack in the car. I can definitely tell that this bread is what Silver Star Bakery is famous for. Next year when I head back to Provincetown with my family, I hope we can stop by Providence along the way because I would love to get more. I don't know how I've been missing out on this bread.

The best in the area! Both the Portuguese and non-Portuguese items are delicious, my go-to place for goat cheese!

I make the drive from Connecticut quite frequently. I love this place.

They have a lot of options beyond amazing Portuguese Sweet Bread! Their cakes and other sweets are worth the visit as well. It's a nice, quiet place with a helpful staff.

All the pastries here were pretty decent. But the lady at the front helping us just acted so annoyed and bothered it just rubbed us the wrong way.

Nice Bakery with all assorted pastries. Mostly Portuguese. A couple of tables outside in the good weather. People are very friendly and helpful ?

I placed an order for Easter because our local Portuguese bakery closed. The sweet bread was absolutely delicious. The egg custards were awesome. The malasadas were awful. They were so very dry that I threw Them in the trash. The Portuguese rolls were also awful. So dried out.not sure how far in advance they made them but I would NOT serve them to my guests. I suppose 2 out of 4 isn’t too bad.

We came here upon a visit because it had high ratings. This place did not disappoint. The woman who helped us was very friendly and nice. I tried to speak a tiny bit of Portuguese. She was able to set me up with authentic desserts for my aunt who's from Portugal. They were delicious. We all enjoyed them. Very happy we stopped here to try out their yummy treats.
