Small place with some shared larger tables, we arrived just in time to grab seats for the four of us for dinner on a Friday night. The food was excellent and the service was great.Parking: Parking garage entrance right next to the restaurant

The miso ramen is delicious! I really enjoyed the sake blossom cocktail as well. Staff is super sweet. This is a must try.

After years of eating at the same places every time we visit Providence, we decided to try a new place and came here. The ramen were $14-$16 a bowl. We really enjoyed our ramen and the pork and beef were really tender. The only downside was the spicy ramen was really salty. We were impressed with the amount of toppings it came with standard, which we don’t usually get at other ramen places. Highly recommend this place and we definitely will come back!

The new female waiter is honestly so rude and impatient, really needs to learn how to make people feel welcomed. Food was good as always, thankfully. Just to be super clear, it wasn't anywhere near busy enough when we were seated for her attitude to have been so snippy the ENTIRE time over us needing to decide for a little longer. Unprofessional girl.

If I write a review for a restaurant, that means it's really bad..... 8.5 for karaage with a portion like 1/4 of what PVD noodle bar which is few blocks away. Taste is very mediocre. And the ramen, noodle is hard, soup doesn't have that much flavor but oily... And the girl who served the table she just doesn't want to be there. Who gives you one chopstick when you dropped one? You always replace the pair and she just put the one chopstick on the table..... Anyways, I really don't know how did that get the high ratings. There are so many good spots with double, triple the value and quality food around. Stay away from this place your wallet and pallet will thank you.Oh on top of it, they charge you a Meal & Beverage tax on top of the sales tax..... Is that even legal????

had a weird request of wanting a double seaweed salad and there was no hesitation from the server helping fulfill my order. very friendly, the one with blue hair, heard her say “have a goodnight” to everyone who got up and “hello” to everyone who entered. no wait time for a table. great atmosphere with cool art all around. highly recommend!

If you get past the dozens of fruit flies and actually sit down to eat here. This is what you can expect. The meat is flavorless ( chicken tasted like plastic) and all the veggies taste like they're right out of the freezer. The spinach is soggy and flavorless, the mushrooms are rubbery and tasteless, there was no corn in our bowl which was supposed to come with it and the egg was TOUGH and rubbery. The broth has no oil, no flavor, no wow factor. The gyoza came out so fast it's definitely not fresh. It was probably the best part which is not saying a lot.The soda comes in warm cans, we should've left after that red flag.We tipped but we're not really sure why. There's no "service". Just someone who takes your whole order at once and then drops the bill.So sad that this place took over what used to be a legendary ramen spot. I had really high hopes for this and was left with something I could make at home. All in all the place lacks atmosphere, soul and warmth. But it has plenty of bugs and mediocre food choices.

This has become a go to place for my family since I have found this place (been over a year) and till today I never had to write this review. Food here is AMAZING! I have thanked the owner many times for opening this restaurant. However the sever today was outright rude for no fault of ours. We came in 45 mins before closing and Felt absolutely unwelcomed, rushed and scared of adding anything to my order. She didn’t even bring water till we asked. I and my Husband generally tip over 20-25% and we go in once a month and today because of the service we didnt and the server comes and asked and I quote “really this is the gratuity”. I am in utter shock. I would have given 10 stars if there was an option for food but just because of the server I have to give only one star.Vegetarian options: There are lot of Vegetarian/Vegan options.

Tori Tomo: Where Tradition Meets InnovationNestled in the heart of Providence, Tori Tomo beckons both the curious and the connoisseurs of Japanese cuisine. Stepping in, the fusion of traditional ambiance and innovative dishes immediately captivates. The gyoza and shio ramen are among the stars of their culinary galaxy. The gyoza, with its perfect balance of crispness and succulent filling, delivers an explosion of flavors in every bite. The shio ramen, a delicate harmony of broth and noodles, holds a depth that lingers on the palate. Each sip and slurp unveil layers of savory satisfaction that leave a lasting impression. While the culinary delights steal the spotlight, the ambiance plays a supporting role. The lighting, albeit a tad harsh, casts a spotlight on the anime mural, an eye-catching homage to Japan's vibrant pop culture. Despite the illumination, the warm aromas enveloping the space create an inviting embrace, transporting diners to the heart of Japan's culinary essence.Tori Tomo stands as a testament to the intersection of tradition and innovation. It's not just a restaurant; it's an odyssey through the flavors and artistry of Japan, where each dish tells a story and each visit unfolds new chapters of culinary delight.I look forward to returning soon! and thank you Joey for making a guest appearance? Looking fierceDietary restrictions: There are gluten free options for Ramen.Parking: Would recommend finding a parking lot and walking over, or just taking the bus.

Food was very good but server was awful. They had took someone’s order who had come in afterwards, while we were still waiting for them to take our drinks order. However it took them about another fifteen minutes to come over and take our orders. We waited for our appetizer to come but when the ramen came out we realized they had forgotten to put our appetizer into the system. We did finally get the appetizer after we had mentioned it to the waiter and a few minutes after we started our ramen however about fifteen minutes after getting our food the waiter had placed the bill on the table and started asking if they could put our food into boxes even though we had just gotten the food about 20 minutes ago. I told them I was still eating so no box would be necessary for the moment and they had just walked away. Finally when another couple had come about ten minutes after the bill was given to us the waiter told them they could either sit outside or if they wanted to wait they could wait for us because we were almost done as the waiter pointed at our table. I have never felt so rushed in a restaurant and even though the food is good the treatment from the server really turned me off from this place.

I came here on a rainy day which was perfect for ramen. I wish it was creamier and. Broth was a bit lacking flavor. But with extra spices I was able to bring it to my liking

One of my go to ramen spots. Solid food and fast service at a decent price. Inside has semi limited seating so wouldn't recommend for a big crowd but amazing for a solo or duo ramen spot. Has cool anime inspired mural on the wall.

(It deserves at least 4.5)They layout of the restaurant is nice very open and friendly. The music choice added to the experience and I appreciate the alternating genres. Server was attentive and genuine. Food was good, I say it’s better than most ramen places nearby just off the richness of flavor. I took .5 off because I do feel the portions for the meat and veggies could be bigger. Otherwise, very good and will come again.
