50 years ago (I'm old!) I remember my mom buying her mom baked goods from the Wayland Bakery, so what better place to buy hermits when visiting my mom than here! This classic old time Rhode Island bake shop offers traditional baked goods pared with friendly, helpful service. Stopping at the Wayland Bakery is like visiting the best of the past!
This is on the East Side near Gano Street.I got a great German Chocolate cake here a few years back.Today I got the best peanut butter squares and very good French bread style pizzaGreat friendly service

Here we have a cute little old school bakery. They making everything fresh daily. They have cookies, cakes, breads, muffins, bagels, chicken Caesar salad, or wrap, sandwiches, brownies, cupcakes and more! The place smells amazing! I didnt know what to try because there was so much to choose from. One of the lovely ladies who worked there gave me a few suggestions of her favorite things.. The carrot cake was one she mentioned, I'm going to try that next time.
