Perly's is the perfect place to have a weekend brunch. Be warned they do not take bookings for lunch during the weekend and they close at 3pm on Sunday. There is a queue at the weekend with an average wait time of 30-40 minutes. Come early if you can. We love the Benny Goodman and my husband adores the Matzoh ball soup. The menu is not terribly long and there are lots of vegetarian choices if you eat eggs. No good vegan choices. The service is OK. The decor is old time chic, casual with wooden booths and counter seats. If you are in Richmond then I very much recommend this restaurant. There is free and cheap $5 parking fairly near by. The bill was $63 for four with no desert, one appetizer, four entrees and no alcohol.
I can't say enough good things about this place! I was visiting from out of town and am so glad we picked Perly's for lunch! Delicious food, great customer service and atmosphere. Loved it! Try the dill caper tuna salad- so good!
This modern Jewish delis The menu selection is quite good, and the corned beef is outstanding, as is the potato salad (to die for). The servers are nice and helpful as well. We would definitely recommend this great restaurant to all my friends and fam!
The neighborhood does not befit the excellent service and food. Tucked into a hole in the wall, this Jewish deli really packs in the volume and flavor. I got a roast beef sandwich that was not only well priced, but big. And I am a big guy and even I thought the sandwich was gratuitously large. But they didn't trade size for taste and I definitely loved every bite. The creamy slaw was a wonderful side. Would definitely go again.
Great non-kosher Jewish food. So happy to find a restaurant where I can eat everything in the menu. Busy but worth the wait. Moderately priced. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was awesome!

Food was amazing, my husband and I shared a Cesar salad and a sandwich. The sandwich was massive and was served with a very generous amount of French fries. Everything tasted so fresh. Very relaxed place. Loved it!
I used to eat here every week when I worked downtown, and even now that I don't, my wife and I still drive downtown to eat here some weekends. I've tried most of their lunch menu and there's nothing I didn't like! On top of the food quality, the staff are incredibly welcoming and the portions are generous for the price. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Richmond! Just a heads up, it's limited seating and they fill up quickly for weekend brunch. Plan accordingly!
Great little place atmosphere wise but most food was so, so. Had chicken club was ok but nothing special. my wife had the chicken n grits, again ok but sort of bland. My daughter, though had the French toast. It was great, very rich with a nice berry sauce. We split it as a desert.
Absolutely phenomenal quality food. I got the hamburger with everything on it plus provolone and bacon. The burger itself was cooked exactly how I wanted it. One of the best burgers I've had in quite a while. My regards to the chef. Our waitress was very polite and informative as well. Highly recommend dining here. 10/10 would eat again.
I was here back in April 2017 and kept planning to write a review but never got around to it. Well, yesterday I went to brunch in DC at this place called Medium Rare and had such an terrible experience I felt inspired to come back and write a review of a place that i feel has the best brunch i have ever experienced. From the moment you walk in the door at Lucy's you immediately get the vibe that this place is run by professionals who know how to take a simple concept and make it exceptional. I had the eggs Benedict and i can not express how amazingly wonderful it was. The eggs were poached perfectly; not too runny and not too over cooked...the hollandaise was done to perfection...creamy and velvety and every flavor was perfect; just the right amount of lemon to heighten the richness of the butter and egg...then to add to layers of goodness they put fresh chopped green onions on top to bring whole thing together with a tasty bow on top. And the mimosas!!! awesome! my only regret was that i didn't have room left over to taste the doughnuts. I can't wait to go back!!!

Good rotating tap selection and my burger (the Dynamo) was very tasty. Although if you're going to give me the option to order "pink" or "no pink" it better be pink all the way through like a true medium instead of med-well. The fries were decent, but not anything special. The craft cocktails looked good, can't comment on the taste since I didn't have one.
I really enjoyed the food here. Everything I tasted you could tell was fresh and made of quality ingredients. The reason this is not a 5 star review is because of what I thought was an absurd charge on the whiskey I ordered. I ordered a Buffalo Trace on the rocks. Buffalo Trace on the menu was $6.75 When the bill came it said "Buffalo Trace $6.75 + $2 on the rocks". They charged me $2 for ice! If I want a good sandwich in a casual environment I'd probably come back here. If I want to have dinner and drinks I would definitely go somewhere else.
Sandwiches were interesting and delicious. Everything else was wanting. Chips we're stale and we waited 25 minutes for it food. Yes, it was a busy Friday lunch, and they reported a large take out order in front of us. IMO they should be staffed and prepared for something that acknowledged they expected. Worse, no one came by during that 25 minutes to let us know what to expect.
The service was wonderful and overall the place had a nice vibe! It's very nice inside and the best part was the food! Everything is homemade and just tastes wonderful! Their flavor combinations are so delicious! They were also very accommodating to our family that had a baby and stroller. They sat us at a nice roomy table.
Have been here 4 times and food tastes the same and great always. Their house made chips are very good. They get busy during Friday lunch time, but worth the wait. Service is good and interior is also good.

Really cool spot. Interesting menu with vegan and carnivore options. In the middle of growing Scott's Addition, it's a great landmark on the corner of a bustling intersection. Kinda looks like a hip diner and everything is casually served, but it's quality food here. Could be a good place to grub before a Flying Squirrels game and walk to the Diamond. A few breweries are nearby too. I had a burger with goat cheese, wilted kale and mushrooms. Very tasty. My son got the kids meal of mini corn dogs, fries and soft serve ice cream and enjoyed them.
The adult milkshakes are so good.i enjoyed the salted caramel shake today. The loaded Tots were just so-so. They could have been crisper. Had a Kelly Burger last week with a dude of tots and it was great.
Have to admit I was skeptical about their story of their beef being extra-special on first visit...but I could really taste the difference. Excellent burger, broad beer list, servers were hustling on a hot, busy day. Parking is tough if the Squirrels are playing but otherwise really like this place.
Staff were great. Food was excellent. Good craft beer selection per hubby. Kid friendly and reasonably priced. A new family favorite haunt for us :)
First time here and wow have we been missing out! Our server Chris K was extremely knowledgeable about the beer and burger menu. We took his suggestions on what to drink (watermelon gose for me, passion fruit kicker for my dining partner) The food was delicious and came out in minutes. We can't wait to come back for happy hour!

Everything about this place is awesome. The owner is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the food was SUPER delicious! The pizza was the perfect sauce to cheese to crunch ratio. I've never been so satisfied from pizza, and I love pizza! I'll be back to visit regularly.
Pizza is good. Atmosphere and service are good. The burger was not so good. A sandwich was also not so good. They do have a good beer selection and good prices. We go fairly regularly. If the burger and sandwiches were better I'd go up to 4 stars.
Great service and great food and great patio out back. The grilled chicken buffalo wrap was INCREDIBLE which I honestly wasn't expecting. Flavors were incorporated so well. 10/10 and looking forward to going back again.
The pizza was great and our server was the bomb. Luke made a mistake taking my order and instead of just making me wait he rushed my original order, gave me the mistaken pizza anyway and cut 50% off my tab. That guys the man. Way to handle customer service the right way Luke!
Pretty good service, the crust is done well, crunchy, and the ingredients were cooked through instead of slapped on. Happy hour seems to be a big hit, a few tvs to catch some games too.
